Chapter 4 -4

The sad event which took place caused all Davens to be dumbfounded, confusion, loneliness dwelled in their midst.

Ava cried all night, she just couldn't help but cried all day. Raiden went for a visit most times, but Ava just didn't enjoy being companied by an opposite sex. She preferred leaving home to meet with two of her vampire friends, Melina and Jane.They both put up all effort to cheer her up.

In the danuisk, a grandchild celebration had already taken place in celebrating their newest and most desired captive, Balmad.

Balmad was still innocent of everything, he doesn't have even a glimpse of what he is to be. But for the Danuisks who knew what he is destined to be, sought to eliminate him before time leaves their side.

Lord Amberk was sitted on his throne, looking so joyful on his catch, "bring him to me" Lord Amberk ordered the guards.

" My Lord" One of the guards called kneeling. " Who did you command us bring to you" he asked.

" How dare you vomit such utterance" Lord Amberk groaned, he already got his long nails dipped into the guard's chest, blood flower rapidly.

"Go and get him for me!" Lord Amberk reordered.

" Yes sure" two other guards responded and made their way to the cage where Bilmad is being housed.

Balmad looked so sad with bruises all over his body,his clothing is so messed up with blood,tored too.

He the shackles sound which alerted him,he raised his head immediately,the soldiers opened the door, entered inside and pulled him up to stand. But Balmad couldn't stand firmly,his feets were shivering like that of a toddler. On getting to the inner cabin he fell, the soldiers was left with no option but to lay him on their shoulder.

They took him that way till they got him to Lord Amberk's presence.

"My Lord" the guards said making a bow, then left to their position.

"Young Man," Lord Amberk called. Balmad was so exhausted to the point he couldn't utter a single word.

"Offer him drink" Lord Amberk ordered.

One of the guards left towards the dining,he got with him a dark brown shinning jar of blood. It was offered to Balmad which he drank,Balmad was so exhausted,every single strength in him had been beaten off.

"Tell me how to make the Coaserier!" Lord Amberk commanded Balmad. But Balmad just kept stirring at Lord Amberk with his dull eyes.

"How dare you keep silence to my order?" Lord Amberk was already speaking in a furious range, pointed his bold eyes to Balmad. At the last word of Lord Amberk one of the guards stepped forward and landed the thick rod on Balmad's back.

Balmad lost strength to yell, he could only she'd tears with blood all over his body. The guard wasn't gonna care about his condition, he raised the iron rid a second time, Balmad was about holding it, preventing the rod with his left hand, he got hit so badly with the rod which twisted his middle finger backwards.

Hw still couldn't yell, all he could do was shed tears. With the third beating he fell on the floor, with blood gushing out from his mouth each time he coughed.

"Take him to the basement at once!" Lord Amberk commanded.

"Yes my Lord" the guards responded, took Balmad by the arms and dragged on the floor as the went.

The Davens are in so much pains and anger, since their only source of survival had been taken, plots were being made on how to rescue Balmad before great harm will be done on him.

Ava stopped crying since she found out crying never brought him back, she herself made her own personal plans to leave to the Uldabor. The Uldabor is the southern Coast if the Antracians, made up of the Earth class. She believed she could gain little help. Ava disclosed this secret to no one, not even Melina or Jane who were her closest friends.

At noon, Ava got ready to meet with Alberto, got dressed on her white heavy good, and scalf on her hair. On her way going, she bumped into Raiden, he too was right on his way to see her.

"Hey Ava" Raiden said with a smile on his face, but Ava didn't give him back the smile.

"Hi" she replied.

"Where are heading to, I was just coming over to see you" Raiden told her.

"Oh am on my way to see Alberto" she said with both hands in her pocket.

"Hope there is nothing wrong?" he asked trying to figure out something.

"Yes yes, all is fine, just wanna have a talk on few things" she replied.

"Ok then I'll take a walk with you to am extent, is that okay?" Raiden proposed trying to make her not to misunderstand the favor.

"I'll be glad" Ava said with a smile.

" I know everything would seem so strange to you, more to say now Balmad is being arrested, I just can't imagine how lonely it had been for you, buh just believe it that Balmad is fine where ever he is and would definitely return ok?" Raiden tried assuring her.

"Even though you know how hurting he would be now, in the hands of those beasts, you can't actually cover up that, we all know the capabilities of the Danuisks, those men don't value life Ava said with widened eyes.

They had this talk till they got close to Alberto's the residence. Raiden then bid her farewell and departed.

Ava got close to the door, pulled her sandals made her chant. Alberto was having a sweet rest right in the cold floor, as he preferred though. But as he got alerted by the chant his eyes flashed open, he got up, had his up dress on and left for the door.

"Ava...." he said with a smile exposing his incomplete teeth.

"Good afternoon Alberto" Ava greeted with head facing downwards.

"My daughter, I feel good having you under my roof,I just have a lot to disclose to you, come right in my dear" he said directing the way with his right hand.

They walked to the sitting room, though not like the normal sitting room, he had shelves filled with scrolls passed from the ancient people.

"Sit, doni offer you anything" he asked

"No thanks, am fine" she responded with h a smile.

"Ok my daughter, well I know you right from time, you don't take anything outside home" Alberto teased.

"Not like I don't sir, I already had something to eat before coming" Ava said.

"Ok, Ava..." Alberto called. "Yes sir, am listening" Ava answered.

"It's about Balmad, do you really know who he is?" Alberto questioned Ava. "Yeah if course, like why did you ask, isn't he my brother" Ava questioned too

"Mmm, Ava look, yes Balmad is your brother, but he isn't just like everyone else, he is more than what you see in him" Alberto narrated demonstrating with his left hand.
