Chapter 1 PROLOGUE

Ahana Pov's

He pointed his gun towards me.

"Sid" I couldn't understand anything further about what I should say. I wiped my tears and was just looking at him.

"All was drama. You pretended to love me so that you could come here. Right? You want to come to this village so you used me. How could you do this to me? If you had to come here, you would have found some other way. Why did you use me? Why?" I screamed at the peak of my voice. My tears were not stopping.

"I must say you're an intelligent girl. Everything you said is true. We all tried hard to get inside the village but failed every time. In the end this was the only way left, that's why I pretended to love you. I accept I used you and I know, I did wrong with you but you deserved this." he said in a firm voice before i could answer him, He fired, the bullet passed through my side and then I heard a shout of a man. I turned back and saw that a person had fallen on the ground. He shot him. I looked back at Sid and took my step backwards. He held my hand and led me to his room. I was trying hard to get my hand out of his grip, but the more I tried, the more tightly he would hold my hand.

"Aah ..Sid left my hand" I was trying to get my hands off, then my eyes went on Sahil, who was standing outside Sid's room, he was also wearing an army uniform. Sid released my hand. I was shockingly looking at Sahil, his friend.

"you are also an army officer? wow... It means you are together. great.. I was crazy who trusted this moron" I said looking at Sid side. he pushed me inside the room.

"Until everyone dies, she will remain in this room, then we will take her life. I want to see her reaction, When she sees her mission get failed." he said. I was just looking at him with hatred in my eyes.

"I hate you.. Did you hear? I hate you" I yelled at the peak of my voice. He left me in the room without reply. I sat on the floor and was constantly crying.

"I do not know if he will really kill me or not, but I know that he has cheated me. He doesn't love me. He has to pay for his deed. I will not spare him" I was lost in my thoughts when I heard the sound of gunfire. I wiped my tears and went towards the door. I tried to open the door but the door was closed from outside.

"Sid ... open the door. What was that sound? open the door" i shouted But neither did the door open and nor anyone answered my talk.

The sound of firing bullets started increasing. My eyes went to the room window. I quickly went towards it and removed the curtains. Seeing the outside scenario, my eyes were wide open. There were army officers everywhere, firing on Villagers and they were also firing back.

My gaze went to Sid who had a gun point at my Baba and the very next moment he shot him. I had tears in my eyes. He looked at my side. My Baba's blood was on his face. I took my step back and sat down on the ground. I was thinking about every moment I spent with Sid. Even now the same question was revolving in my mind.

"Did he really pretend to love me? That was all a hoax?"

As time went on, the sound of firing bullets was becoming less and my tears were also slowly ending. After an hour, I heard the sound of the door opening. I looked towards the door, Sid was standing there. He came towards me and held my hair tightly in his hand.

"Aah" I hissed. I looked at him. Tears rolled down from my eyes even without wanting to. He made me stand by holding my hair.

"Now your game is over" he said and then held my hand And then took me to the outside.

"Why did you leave my hair looking at me in pain and why did your eyes become damp?" I asked, looking at him.

"I know how to respect women and I promised someone that I would never raise my hand on a woman. Thank God that you are a woman" he said. My last hope that he loves me, that too broke down. I looked at him with teary eyes.

He took me in front of everyone. I just saw blood and dead bodies everywhere. He made me sit in the middle of all the army officers and then stood in front of me pointing his gun at me. I started laughing at my destiny. Everyone was watching me confusingly.

I am madly in love with him, a while before I decided to confess what I fell for him... I love him so much that I can die for him. And you know what I am dying not for him.. but because of him. He is pointing his gun toward me. At the center of my forehead. I am in shock.

Everything has changed a couple of times. The person with whom I wanted to spend my whole life, wants to kill me. I am speechless, I don't know what to say, I am staring at him with teary eyes asking him why he did this to me.. To which he replies.. "I HATE YOU"

I don't know how to react. As soon as I respond a bullet strikes me. I fell on the ground whispering my last words "I LOVE YOU SID"
