I want to believe that I put on this outfit just to please myself. But I know in my heart that I did it to please her.

I pretend to be interested in their conversation although all my attention is riveted on Calvin and this girl. I am seething. Suddenly everyone is silent, when I turn around I see Alex and his wife. I'm not sure what's going on but I've noticed that his relationship with the pack is strained, even Mich who is usually so friendly is grumbling. Calvin walks towards them, they talk but I can see that it is not going well. I don't know why, but I can feel his frustration. So without thinking I run to him and hug him. I try to calm him down, he hugs me too, I fill my lungs with his smell. At the same time wild and virile, conquering and soft.

He calms down, I drag him to a corner out of sight. I try to piss him off so that he throws his anger on me. His reaction surprises me, he stares at me, a gleam lights up in his eyes, bestial, wild.
