Chapter 3 Tres

I went through the closet to see if there was anything I could wear. I have brought along some of my own clothing, but it is mostly worn out and has a little bit of dirt on it. I seem to recall that Hiro wants me to dress nicely, wash my face, regularly brush my teeth, and present myself in a manner that is, in general, considered to be acceptable in terms of hygienic standards. Due to the fact that my upbringing was provided by my father, I can safely say that I never lived the life of a princess in my childhood.

On the other hand, I choose to make the road my home, which means that I am constantly surrounded by mud and grime.

Hiro instilled in me the value of personal cleanliness and hygiene. He taught me that while physical beauty is certainly a factor in determining one's attractiveness, it is not absolutely necessary; rather, a person who takes care of themselves is very attractive. Until such time as his wisdom becomes ingrained in my life.

My new school does not require students to wear a specific uniform. You are free to wear anything you like. It is a prestigious institution, catering to wealthy students. The epitome of inequality in all its glory. Because Mommy's family owns a hacienda, she was given a sizable portion of the family's wealth and because Dada is a law enforcement officer that's why they can afford such a school. My choice of attire is a straightforward little black dress with a ruched bust. When my mother came into my room, she was beaming when she saw me. "You are absolutely stunning, my love. "Let me help you"-she said.

My hair was styled into a messy bun after she had blown it dry. She accessed some jewelry by opening a drawer in a cabinet. She dressed me in a gold chain necklace and the same bracelets on each of my hands. She also adorned each of my ears with a pair of dainty hoop earrings.

"You should know that ever since Roshi brought you to my attention, I've wanted to take you in as my own. To me, you just exude an air of gratitude and tidiness. My mother compliments me all the time on my refined demeanor. That's why I saw myself in you." As she applied some light makeup to my face, she said.

"Mommy, where is she right now?" I asked her. "She is still in our place with my father and brothers," she responded with a hint of sadness, to which I replied with a sad "Ohh." I got the impression that she and her mother were having some kind of problem. I don't want to press the issue because I want her to talk to me about it in a natural way. She then finished it off by spritzing it with perfume. After that, she tapped me on the head and mumbled something about "Let's eat."

Dada had already departed at an early hour. We ate, and she even prepared quite a few fried eggs in butter specifically for me to eat. Because she is so kind and lovely, Dada has a lot of affection for her.

My new school requires her to drive me there every day. It is a large and expansive structure. She informed me, "This is the place where I used to study in the past."

Before I get out of the car, I give her a hug and a kiss on the cheek. I am very grateful for the fact that I dressed nicely today. The students in this school are not your typical underprivileged youth. They enjoy the privilege of being able to accessorize any part of their body with jewelry. They adorn themselves with jewels and gold all over their bodies.

I recalled the children who were in the orphanage with me and struggled with figuring out what to wear, what to eat, and how to survive. I was one of them. Even in an orphanage, survival is a necessity because we only receive modest donations from a select group of benevolent individuals. And right now, these children have the ability to adorn themselves with any precious gem they choose. To be sure, this is inequality at its most blatant.

My first objective is to find a good friend. Hiro never fails to remind me of the importance of having friends. When I was younger, I didn't have any other friends because I was happy with him. According to what he said, friendship is a connection, and connections are the key to power. Connections are required in order to successfully complete a series of sweet escapes. I was able to make real friends. First, I met Cly. She has pigtails and chubby cheeks, and she has a bubbly personality. Despite the fact that her mother is the dean of the school, she is a very grounded person. After the first day of school, I found her participating in the drama club. Additionally, she is a fellow student in one of my classes. She's a bit of a bitchy type of attitude especially when she knew I was also close to Scorpio, which identity will be explained later. After that, I met Kinz, who is currently seated next to me in one of my classes. Three days after the first day of school, I met him. He is not only very kind, but he is also very smart, and he excels in everything. Because Kinz and I share the same roots, we are naturally able to get along with one another. He is the only scholar of this school and the only student who did not come from a wealthy upbringing. Additionally, he is a member of the martial arts club that I recently joined as well. After that, I talked to Scorpio. It is the fourth time in a row that he has been assigned to sit next to me in a class. Although he has a name associated with politics, he has stated that he has no interest in being involved in politics. He serves as the family's proverbial "problematic child." He hardly ever makes any comments. We are the hall monitors and school strategic system because we are the students with the most impressive credentials and grades upon admission. Why did the school consider me to be a person who has a strong background? As for the parents, well, Dada Roshi is a high-ranking police officer, and Mommy Kristal has an influential name in the world of fashion and haciendas and i am their official adopted daughter, that's why.
