We arrive at my home and I usher her in. She's kind of clingy but she will do for tonight. I need anything that can make me stop thinking of those blue eyes and it's owner.
I unconsciously hold the girl behind me a little harder and we go in.
She sits at my mini bar and raises her already short gown to almost waist level showing me all her flawless skin under the gown.
I hold back and pour her a drink and take one for myself. I sip silently with one eyes on her.
She downs her cup in one glass and her cheeks start to get rosy. She kind of looks cute like that.
I drop my cup and round the table over to her. I hold up her chin with one finger.
"What's your name?"
"Alyssa."
Alyssa. Fine name and it rolls easy on the tongue.
I tip her chin upwards a little further and kiss her. She has quite the soft and luscious lips that still tastes of fragrant wine and that makes it all better.
I grab her hips and heave her onto the table, kissing her fiercely. She has her hands digging into my scalp and my hands working the zipper of her gown at the back.
As soon as it's unopen, I yank open the gown and take my lips off hers for a second. She heaves and forces the gown off with my own hands helping as well. She goes for my shirt and unbuttons it completely and yanks it off my body too.
We resume kissing and I go down to the nape of her neck and suck on it. She raises her neck and is gasping in pleasure. I go down a little more and takes my kissing into her cleavage. While working my way there, I undo her bra strap and fling it god knows where. Her breasts are hard tipped and pink.
I wonder what Terri's will look like as I tip my head down to suck on it.
Terri.
Shit.
I raise my head from her breast and walk back to the mini bar. I pour myself another cup and down it in a go. I pour another one and drink it all at once again.
Alyssa is breathing heavily on the bar stool where she sat and has her eyes on me. I can tell she is very disappointed.
"Why?" She speaks out and signals to me for a cup too
I pour her one too.
I sigh.
"Nothing. Just lost my mood."
"Right in the middle?" She bangs her cup on the table and raises an eyebrow. It's obvious she can tell it is a lie.
"It's complicated. I'll ask my driver to drop you off."
"You can't lie. It's a woman isn't it?" She asks as she starts to dress back up
I bang my cup on the table and look at her angrily.
"None of your fucking business. Get out."
"I will. Rather than just thinking of her, just go ahead and meet her." Alyssa chuckles and leaves through the front door.
Her words float through my head throughout that night, even in bed. It's the first time in years I will he going to bed alone.
First.
I get up for work the next day pretty early. I'm always an early riser because of my insomnia so it's only normal I leave early for work.
Arriving at work is the usual funfare of people bowing in greetings until I enter the elevator with Ray and others in suits.
I get to my floor and the elevator opens and I subconsciously glance to Terri's office and she is not by her table.
Latecomer.
I turn to my secretary in front of my office "Tell Miss Terri to see me once she is around."
"Yes Clayton."
I like it when my name is called and not being called Sir everywhere I go so I specifically instructed her to call me by my first name.
I settle in my office and my secretary, Anna, brings in some documents.
The day at work has began.
*Terri*
Oh No.
Not my second day and I'm already showing my true colors. I totally ignored my alarm this morning and went back to sleep.
I knew I shouldn't have watched those last five episodes of Bridgerton. Ugh. Now I'm late and I've not even started to prepare yet.
I get into the bathroom and get prepared for work. I wear a white turtle neck top on a black suit pant. Formal and casual at the same time.
Good choice.
I take my time to heat a leftover slice of pizza and eat it in the car with instant coffee on my way to work. My terrible eating habits is starting to tell on me.
I'll get to eat lunch later anyway.
I arrive at work and literally throw my keys to Jack and nodding him thanks. I don't even have the time to say a polite Hi to Casey but she definitely understands because I caught her smile when I rushed by.
I honestly hope Clayton is not at work yet. I mean, all those bosses I ever met come to work in their comfortable times and definitely not in the morning because they always take their time.
This thought makes me relax in the elevator and I casually sip on my coffee in the elevator where I stood alone.
I reached my floor and went to my office. Nothing seemed unusual so I naturally calmed down and sat in my swivel chair.
I arrange my table and settle down and started play swiveling in the chair. I didn't hear the knock on my door but I hear the door open.
"Having fun I see." More of a statement than a question
I swivel to the front and I almost fall fromy chair.
Standing in front of me in a custom made Ash coloured suit is Clayton Williams.
I stand up immediately with red creeping up my face. It's suddenly so hot in the room.
"I guess you didn't check your messages." He says and makes himself comfortable on my visitor's chair.
"Uhm... I didn't Sir." I use the opportunity to check my phone and see that true enough, there is a message from Anna, his secretary.
"I could have come to meet you in your office sir."
"Don't call me sir. I hate it."
Okay. He wants informal.
"Mr Williams, I could have come to your office instead. You didn't have to come to mine."
I see him shake his head but I have no idea why.
"Well, I'm here now."
He gets up from where he sat and came to my side of the table.
"Terri." He calls my name without continuing for about a minute, he just looks at me.
I only had to break the silence.
"Uhm?"
"Nothing. You're a latecomer."
Oh. That.
"I slept late."
His eyes go wide for a second, then that look is gone.
"I see." He says and turns away from me
"Watching Bridgerton."
For some reason, I just felt that had to clarify before he got different thoughts.
He stops in mid step.
"Bridgerton?"
I don't say anything except an hm and unlike what I was expecting, He suddenly burst into laughter.
