Chapter 5 EPISODE 5

Ethan gloated that he had completed the challenge. He took a few pictures on the video he had recorded during his lovemaking with Jemima and deleted the video afterwards. His friends, after seeing the pictures, were very surprised, they knew that it was absolutely impossible for him. So they found themselves obliged to congratulate him for his achievement. Since that famous day, he started to move away from Jemima little by little.

Julia Endel

She is the daughter of the Prime Minister of this country. 23 years old and in her second degree, this young girl fell under Ethan's spell the first day she laid eyes on him. Her social status allowing her to have the man she wants at the snap of her fingers, she did not hesitate to court him. Money, glory and beauty being at the appointment at her place, Ethan did not have to be asked to accept to be her boyfriend. Only, this last has no consideration for her.

In spite of the fact that she knows pertinently that he does not like her, Julia is satisfied with what this last can offer to her. That is, sex when and how she wants it. With this in mind, the two have planned to meet on this day.

It was 2:30 pm when she left the medical school to go to the Hilton hotel. Money not being a problem for her, it is in this 5 stars Hotel that the young girl regularly reserves a suite for her erotic meetings with her boyfriend, Ethan.

The cleanliness, the luxury and the elegance of the place welcome her warmly when she crosses the door of the hall. She smiles at the receptionists before taking the key with magnetic card. With a nonchalant step, she heads for the elevator to get to her suite. A few minutes later, Ethan enters.

After their third round, Ethan slumps into bed, so tired that he falls into the arms of Morpheus in the following seconds. Julia as for her turns on the television to entertain herself waiting that her man wakes up. With her iPhone 13 pro max, she takes pictures that she puts in status. Suddenly, Ethan's phone signals the arrival of a message. Being placed on the bedside table, she just extends her hand and takes it. Once again, Ethan forgot to lock it. She thus has the free field to search it. The notification shows that it is the message of Jemima Master 1.

Julia knows very well who it is and she wonders what her number still makes in the phone of her man. Ethan had however promised her to cut the bridges with her once he will have put her in his bed. Curious, she opens the message on WhatsApp and discovers with bitterness that Ethan has not yet broken up with Jemima. On the contrary, he continues to converse with her as if nothing had happened. So she wonders if he has fallen in love with her. No, anything but. She has to do something to get this girl away from her man. She will never accept that Ethan falls in love with this ugly girl with witchy eyes and not with her.

Very quickly, she opens Ethan's bag in search of his laptop to take the famous video. She searches the computer in vain.

« Yes, his phone, it is certainly in it! » she exclaims.

She enters the gallery and searches through the videos without finding it, so she concludes that he must have deleted it. Nevertheless, she still searches the photos hoping to find something. She then comes across this photo. A photo of Jemima and Ethan all naked and in full sexual intercourse. She smiles viciously before transferring this photo in her phone.

Worried about the change in Ethan's attitude towards her since the day they had sex, Jemima decided to approach him at the hospital or in college to ask him for an explanation, even though he had asked her never to do so. She is very hurt by his attitude and since he is no longer responding to her messages and calls, she has no choice but to do so. She just hopes that he hasn't taken the piss out of her and that he has a good reason to justify his sudden change. Otherwise, she won't be able to get over it. She pushes away all her bad thoughts that are trying to pollute her mind since earlier and writes to her girlfriend to know if she is home. Since that famous day, the two of them have not been able to see each other because of their extremely busy schedules. It is on this day that they will see each other. So, after several pleas, she finally accepted Caleb's invitation to dinner. It is thus after her meeting with Anaëlle that she will go to this appointment.

In front of her girlfriend's door, she knocks before entering. She greets her and contrary to the other times, this one answers her strangely. She looks at her and realizes that her face is impassive. Perturbed, she decides to take a seat in bed before asking about her. Anaëlle answers her briefly. She takes it upon herself to ask her why she is so cold towards her.

« What is going on? Why this behavior towards me? Have I offended you? » She asks him worried while looking her in the eyes.

Apart from her mother, Anaëlle is the only person Jemima dares to look in the eyes without fear.

« No not at all, I have a little discomfort. Also, I'm angry with you but very serious » Anaëlle answers with her face still impassive.

Astonished, Jemima hurried to know why her sister was angry with her. She did not suspect for a moment that her sister knew about it, because in the message that the latter had sent her that day, she had not mentioned her discovery.

« What took you Jemima, Ethan? » She asks the voice swarming with anger.

The heart of Jemima releases instantly a very violent beat, it almost wants to leave its rib cage so much it beats the chamade. She remains inert, she does not manage to place words.

« How did she make to know? » she asks herself internally.

« Of all the guys in college, was it only this bastard you saw? Fuck, you've disappointed me. So angry at you, » Anaelle adds in a sharp voice.

Unable to answer, Jemima bows her head and thinks about what to say to defend herself. She knows that her friend loves her and she has never seen her get into such a state because of her. So she thinks she screwed up. However, she still plans to defend herself by telling her sister that Ethan is not a monster like she thinks.

« At least tell me he hasn't touched you yet, please tell me. » Anaelle asks her with a sad look on her face.

Jemima then lifts her head and says the opposite.

« Fuck! » she vociferates while standing up abruptly. She then hits the table hard and bites her lower lip painfully to try to control herself. She clenches her fists not to explore...

« He dared, I'll do his skin. He'll feel me going over him... » she mutters over and over as she circles her room in fury like a caged lion.

« But, he loves me and he treats me well... » tries to retort Jemima to make her sister calm down...

She laughs nervously before taking her seat. She passes her two hands on her face to wipe the tears which are silently flowing. She hurts, she hurts very much for her sister. She has no proof but she is sure and certain that Ethan did it to win a challenge. She could put her hand in the fire for that. She finally calms down and with pain and a tac, she announces to Jemima...

« Ethan was my booty call... » She tells him everything up until the day she finds out.

« No it's not true, you're lying. I don't believe you... » Jemima replies with a trembling voice...

« It can't be true, she's only saying it so I'll break up with him...Ethan loves me and would never do such a thing to me. » she thinks!

To convince her, Anaëlle takes out her phone and shows her a picture of Ethan and her in his apartment in Bastos kissing...

Jemima collapses on the ground and cries more and more, she then pulls herself together and declares...

« Maybe he did not know that we know each other... »

« Oh yes he does, he knows it very well... » Anaëlle sadly replies.

She lies down in bed and takes out her phone to call Ethan, she realizes that he has blocked it from everywhere. She puts her phone down on the bedside table and continues to cry. She wonders why Ethan went to her? Was it a set-up? Everything can be explained by his change of behavior these last days... She quickly banishes these thoughts and decides not to draw hasty conclusions without having talked with Ethan first. She gives him the benefit of the doubt and hopes with all her heart that he will tell her that all these thoughts are false.

Seeing the state Jemima is in, Anaëlle refrains from telling her that Ethan has put her in his bed for a challenge. She goes to take place in the bed and starts to wipe the tears of her sister to comfort her.

Jemima's phone rings and it is Caleb calling. Being awake, Anaëlle takes it and wakes up Jemima to give it to him. She instantly hangs up the call and puts the phone down.

Caleb calls again and she does the same. He insists a third time, Anaëlle then snatches the phone from his hands and picks up. She informs him that she is not feeling well, which is why she cannot keep their appointment.

"The next day in the afternoon".

Jemima is very disturbed, at the hospital she was not concentrated and this earned her an extra shift in terms of punishment. So she arrives at the faculty and goes to the amphitheatre that the Master 2s occupy to meet Ethan. She looked for him at the hospital without seeing him, she would not like to spend this day without talking to him. She doesn't intend to go to class without having spoken to him or she will be late.

So she arrives in front of the lecture hall and enters, she squints and scans the whole lecture hall for him. Not having seen it, she goes out and sees the two friends of Ethan. She draws in her the necessary courage to go towards them to inquire. But these having seen her and seeing that she approaches them, burst of laughter before leaving. Not understanding anything, she turns around and leaves the building. She walks in the direction of a public bench when suddenly, somebody grabs her arm violently. She turns around and finds Julia and her friends.

« Hello Julia, what do you want? » She asks gently.

« Listen to me very well, if you try to get near my guy again, I will skin you. Leave him alone, he doesn't like you... » She declares with disdain.

« What are you talking about? » Asks Jemima all lost.

Julia and her friends burst out laughing to mock her.

« I'm talking about Ethan, poor fool. With those weird eyes, did you really think he loved you? Stay away from my guy or you'll pay for it », Julia concludes by throwing him a sealed A4 envelope in his face. She turns then the heels followed behind by her friends.

It was as if someone had just stabbed Jemima in the heart, she was in so much pain that tears flowed from her eyes. She hurriedly wipes them away and bends down to pick up the envelope and puts it in her bag, wondering what is inside. Her heart is so bruised that she can't bear to go to class. So she chooses to go home and postpones her search for Ethan.
