Chapter 10 Swimwear Shoot

Anya looks amazing, she is doing a swimwear photo shoot, she is turning many heads, I can't even say I'm not jealous, it's obvious but I'm also proud, that's my girl right there, I am the one who gets to take her home. My mother and Gordon are here, they flew in for the shoot, I'm beginning to think my mother and Gordon are more than business partners, again I stopped asking questions years ago when it comes to my parent's marriage,

"Isn't she magnificent, she will go far in America so long as she stays on the straight and narrow, you both will?" Gordon said

"She is, and it's not all for show guys, I'm madly in love with this woman already, we will get engaged and married for real, nothing fake here"

"The media are lapping you both up son, it's great for business, as soon as you land back in New York you will have a week to recover before we have the launch party"

The photo shoot went on for hours, Anya was exhausted, we had dinner with my mother and Gordon, my mother is happy with the shoot, the paparazzi are loving having a new headline, and the resort is doing great, we have 3 days on a yacht starting from tomorrow and then home to prepare for the launch. After dinner, we visited a jeweller and Anya designed her rings as did I. We are under pressure for her engagement ring to be ready for the launch. I never imagined falling in love like this and actually wanting to be married. I guess it takes one special girl for you to grow up and want to be better.

We are all over the papers and social media, even leaked pictures of Anya's photoshoot, exactly what they wanted, #Bad Boy Gone Good' read one headline, 'Former Player Turned Business Mogul' said another, 'Former Russian Playgirl Tames Russian Playboy', all sorts of stupid headlines to sell their stories. We sailed around the islands and just enjoyed each other, enjoyed having this quality time together as when we got back it would be chaos. Another designer wants to meet with Anya and offer a very big contract and Gordon has investors wanting to work with our company.

We have talked about weddings, kids, and how we plan to spend the rest of our life together. We have agreed to start a family in 5 years, giving Anya enough time to make her name in the modelling world, and then she would like to move into fashion design and perfumes. She has a huge career goal mapped out, she knows what she wants. We have paparazzi circling above the yacht, it's becoming painful now. I know my mother and Gordon need this but we are genuinely wanting to spend time together and get to know more about each other.

We spent the afternoons jumping from the yacht swimming, snorkelling, we have seen dolphins and spent magical sunrises and sunsets together, the 3 days have flown by, we've visited a few of the surrounding islands, ate some amazing food and had amazing sex, we treated it like our engagement break away, I actually proposed on the yacht over a romantic dinner at sunset just so we could have the moment to ourselves privately before doing it so publicly. Life could not be more perfect right now.
