Chapter 8 : Wedding disaster.

Aria POV

I stroked my hands over the wedding dress and smiled.

The day is finally here , I sighed and sat down.

What I will give to have my mom here with me?

I blinked to stop the tears threatening to fall.

I walked to the kitchen.

"Good morning." I smiled widely at Ma'am Serena and Becca .

"Morning Dear." Ma'am Serena smiled back .

"Morning to the latest bride in town." Becca squealed.

I chuckled.

"Is there anything I can help with?" I offered.

"What nonsense girl? , today is your wedding day , you are absolutely doing nothing than looking beautiful." Ma'am Serena said .

"But I .."

She cut me off , "no dear , this is your special day , a day every girl dreams of from the day she was born." She smiled .

I hugged her .

"Thank you so much for everything." My voice breaking down at the end.

She rubbed my back soothingly.

"Now let's get you ready , the makeup artists are here already." Becca said dragging me by the hand.

We walked back to the room but I was shocked by what I saw.

My wedding dress laid on the floor in shreds .

Martina stood with a scissors on her hand and a smirk on her face .

"What did you do!" I screamed.

"What you deserve! , you really think I would let you be happy , huh!." She yelled in my face.

The tears in my eyes fell freely now.

"What's going on here?" Dad rushed in yelling.

Martina quickly dropped the scissors and began faking tears .

"Dad it's not what you look like , she hit me." She lied.

Dad looked at the dress on the floor and then at Martina .

"Serena , find a new dress for her." He simply said and walked out.

He didn't ask what really happened, he didn't yell at Martina, nothing .

He just walked out.

I fell on the floor crying.

"It's okay dear , we will get you a new one, I promise." Ma'am Serena said trying to console me .

"But how? The wedding is almost about to start." I sobbed.

Becca hugged me.

I heard someone clear their throat, I turned and it was Ma'am Celine , she held a wedding dress in her hands.

"Uhm , this is my wedding dress , I hope it fits , it's not a wedding if the bride doesn't have a dress." She dropped it on the bed and left.

"Wow , I guess the evil witch has a little conscience in her." Because huffed.

"Come on try it on Aria." Ma'am Serena suggested.

I tried it on and it fitted perfectly .

I smiled slightly.

"So we have a dress , now let's get you ready , we can't have the bride going late to her own wedding." Becca joked.

Martina POV

"What did you think you were doing?!" Mom yelled in my face .

"I had to do something since you didn't do anything!" I yelled back .

"Shut up girl , shut up!." She yelled and pulled me to sit down on the bed.

"What were you thinking destroying her dress! , at this hour?! , when the wedding is almost about to begin , if I hadn't given her my dress.."

I cut her short.

"You gave her your dress?!"

"Yes! , I had to do , where do you think she would have seen a dress by this time huh! , and do you know what happens when she doesn't see a dress , the wedding doesn't happen and your dad will kill you!."

"Respect yourself and be calm Martina , do not provoke your father." She warned and then left the room.

I screamed scattering my dressing table.

You will never be happy Aria , not under my watch.

I walked outside , the veranda was ready , the wedding is taking place there and then the dinner afterwards .

This was all supposed to be for me .

"You have to use your head Reneè."

I heard Someone whisper.

I turned and saw Theodore's cousin Reneè and his aunt Salma , talking behind a flower .

But why are they whispering?

I decided to lean it to hear what they were saying.

"I can't Mom , I can't . My husband is getting married to another woman and I'm supposed to just pretend like his cousin and give his hand out." Reneè whispered back.

I gasped , what?

"Just act according to the plan , you know this marriage is fake , you know you are his legal wife not her." The aunt said and then they walked away.

My my my , what did I just hear?

Theodore is already married and this marriage with Aria is fake?

Wow , I guess i didn't really have to do anything , i smirked.

Aria thinks she stole Theodore from me but she's walking straight into a trap.

I laughed out wickedly , oh poor Aria .

I smiled and took a glass of champagne from the waiter .

"Why are you smiling?" My mom asked looking at me suspiciously.

"Oh nothing mom , I have decided to be patient like you said , so can I enjoy the wedding please."

"Just pray you aren't up to something." She squinted her eyes at me before walking away.

"Don't worry mom , your daughter has everything under control." I smirked and drank from my glass.

Aria POV

I rubbed my sweaty palm across my dress for probably the 100th time .

"Calm down, everything will go great." Becca rubbed my back , she was my bride's maid.

The bride entrance song started .

I took my flowers in my hands and walked out .

Theodore turned to look at me and smiled .

I walked to where he stood and he took my hands as we turned to the priest .

"We are all gathered here to witness the union between the De'Leons and the Romanos." The priest started.

We both said our vows and exchanged rings.

"You may now kiss the bride." The Priest announced.

My shortly gone nervousness returned.

Theodore smirked and walked closer to me.

"It's time for our first kiss." He whispered softly.

I gulped , he leaned in forward as I closed my eyes.

I felt his lips on mine .

Oh my God! , my first kiss , it's really happening.

and it's everything I have dreamed of.

Theodore slowly disengaged the kiss and stared straight into my eyes, I blushed .

The guests clapped and we made our way to our table.

People came to congratulate us.

The dinner went great , soon it was time for us to leave.

"Shall we?" Theodore took my hand in his , I smiled .

Ma'am Serena and Becca stood at the door , I went over to hug them.

"I will miss you guys so much , so so much." I said as tears brimmed in my eyes.

"It's okay my child , you know where to find us , we are always here for you , now come on , go , you don't want to keep your husband waiting."

I hugged them again and walked over to Theodore .

His friend and bodyguard Pancho , walked ahead of us and opened the car door.

"Where do you think you are taking her?" Simon yelled and brought out a gun from his waist band and pointed it at Theodore.

"Simon , what are you doing!" I screamed .

"Saving you from him Aria , I know you don't want to marry him , you don't have to." He said , he seemed drunk.

Pancho brought out his gun and aimed it at Simon too.

"No no, please , he is drunk , he doesn't know what he is doing." I intervened.

Theodore grabbed my hands , "Pancho , take him inside , come on Aria , let's go."

Simon cocked his gun, "I said you aren't taking her anywhere! , she belongs here , with me!"

I could feel Theodore getting angry , "what is this clown saying?" He yelled .

"Aria , you don't know , I have always loved you , since we were kids , I swore I would marry you." Simon continued.

I shook my head shocked , "no no ,Simon you don't know what you are saying , stop this for God's sake!"

"I'm not leaving here without you Aria." He said .

"Then you will have to pass through me." Theodore pushed me to his back and brought out a gun too.

"No!" I screamed .

"Please let's just go Theo , please he doesn't know what he is saying." I pleaded with him .

He slowly lowered his gun and took my hand .

"I said you aren't taking her." Simon charged towards us but Pancho was quick to tackle him to the ground kicking his gun off his hand , they struggled on the ground .

"Simon please stop it!" I cried out.

"Aria , let's go!." Theodore started the car and opened the door for me .

I got in and he drove off.

I placed my hands over my chest , I don't feel good about something.
