Chapter 2 .

* At school.

(Tomorrow morning, Wesley gets up, takes a shower, has breakfast and goes to school. He finds William).

Wesley: Hello William, how are you this morning?

William: cava and you?

Wesley: I'm fine. So, did you sleep well?

William: yes, I had a great night, I had beautiful dreams about my beloved Sofia.

Wesley: Oh come on, don't make me feel ridiculous.

William (smile): but no, wait for the day when you'll be in love, you couldn't do without telling me everything.

Wesley: You speak.

(The bell rings and all the students return to their respective rooms. Wesley and William return to terminal D combined with C and remain in the third row of the middle row. The students enter and finally between two beautiful girls, Ashley and her friend Laila , this one is the only friend that Ashley has and she is her best, her accomplice, to her, she can confide and can hide nothing. They enter and go to sit on the penultimate bench of the first row. As soon as they entered, Wesley's eyes were on Ashley until they sat down and he continued to stare at them, turning back.)

Laila: Ashley, look at this handsome guy, he's been watching you since we came here, I think he's new.

Ashley: Hey, I don't give a fuck.

Laila: Ashley, what do you have against men?

Ashley: I have nothing against men, it's just that I don't believe in love, it's just hassle, besides it doesn't even exist.

Students: yes sir.

Teacher: Well, for newcomers, I'm your philosophy teacher,...

(While he was speaking, Wesley and William are talking).

William: what's happening to you Wesley, what are you thinking?

Wesley: I don't know, I guess I think I just had that crush you were telling me about.

William: If it's Ashley that you flashed, I advise you to forget immediately if you don't want to be humiliated.

Wesley: why, who is she?

William: Ashley, ha! She is the most beautiful girl in high school but impossible to flirt with, I tried several times without success, others tried in vain and even the Teachers but no one managed to win her heart. His father is a very rich and very powerful man. Usually, the children of the rich are very restless, but she is completely different, she is rather calm, serious and strict, dangerous too.

Wesley: Dangerous, how is she dangerous?

William: Last year, our English teacher was

kicked out of high school because he courted Ashley and she reported him to the administration for harassment. He was supposed to go to prison but it was to preserve the image and status of the school that he could simply be expelled. Wesley: Wow, that's a lot of scary stories about him but that doesn't stop me from taking the risk and trying my luck. I have often heard that love can surprise and that everyone has their luck in this area, maybe it could work with me.

William: ah, you never know, the destiny of some people were predestined to cross, it might be your case and I really hope so, but I would have warned you in any case.

Wesley: Okay, now tell me what to do.

(In the meantime, the Teacher asked each student to introduce themselves and it happened on Wesley but he and William were so focused on the discussion that they knew nothing of what was going on).

Clayton (student): Oh William, tell your friend to introduce himself.

Teacher: Hey you two, what are you talking about?

William: You're welcome sir.

Teacher: do you take me for a fool?

(Wesley stands up).

Wesley: No sir, of course not, far from it.

Teacher: OK Wesley, now tell me what were you talking about?

Wesley: do you want the truth or the lie sir? You are entitled to a choice.

Teacher: do you think we're playing here?

Wesley: Life is a game sir, everyone has to play their cards right.

Teacher: stop your philosophy and tell me both the truth and the lie.

Wesley: No one can make two choices in life sir, either it's A or it's B.

Teacher: OK, tell me the truth then.

Wesley: Well sir, the truth is I can't tell you what we were talking about otherwise it will be lying to you and I don't like to lie.

(Students laugh at this discussion between the Teacher and Wesley).

Teacher: are you fooling me there, you're disrespecting me there, are you taking him for an idiot or what?

Wesley: No sir, I respect you a lot, that's why I can't lie to you.

Teacher: well, sit down, as it is the first

day, I could not sanction you but I will see your case afterwards, you come to see me in my office at the end of the hour. Next.

(William introduces himself and so on until the last student. The Teacher gives his lesson and another replaces him before recess rings. Wesley gets up quickly to join Ashley and Laila).
