Chapter 2 Ella and Tiana

Watch where you're going to next time." Ella said as she faced the person. It was Richard.

"I'm sorry." Richard said.

"Okay." Ella said as she turned to leave.

"Hey wait, where's your location." Richard asked.

"Few miles away from here,why do you ask?" Ella asked.

"I want you to save your money for cab,so that my driver would drop you to where you're going." Richard replied.

"I'm sorry,I don't need that, besides,you just joined our school today,am not sure if I can trust you." Ella said.

"Okay then,how about tomorrow?" Richard asked.

"I'll think about it."Ella said as she turned to leave.

"See you tomorrow." Richard said as they left.

**Mr &Mrs Collins Mansion.

"Good afternoon mum." Richard greeted.

"How are you doing son?" Mrs Collins asked.

"I'm fine mum."Richard replied.

"So,how did your first day go?" Mrs Collins asked.

"It was so Fabulous, everyone including the teachers welcomed me wholeheartedly." Richard said smiling.

"That's good to hear son,go inside and freshen up,I made your favorite." Mrs Collins said.

"Aww...mum,, you're the best mum in the world." Richard said smiling as he climbed the stairs to his room.

**Mr&Mrs Spencer Mansion.

Ella perceived the smell of food,she traced her foot to the kitchen. Her dad and mum were making cupcakes together. Mr&Mrs Spencer loves themselves so much. They behave like young teenagers.

Ella stood at the kitchen door staring and smiling at both of them.

"Hmmm...mm" Ella coughed out.

"Sweetie, you're home." Mr Spencer said as he washed his hands on the basin. He hugged Ella and kissed on her on the fore-head. Mr Spencer loves Ella so much as she was the only child.

"So,,you won't greet me,Ella?" Mrs Spencer asked as she was cleaning the baking pan.

"I will mum, Good day mum." Ella said smiling.

"Why are you Jealous darling?"Mr Spencer asked teasingly as he opened the oven.

"I'm not,I know you love her,at least, allow her to greet me first." Mrs Spencer said smiling.

"Okay dear, I'm sorry." Mr Spencer said as he moved closer to Mrs Spencer.

"I love you." Mr Spencer said.

"I love you more,Honey." Mrs Spencer said as they kissed each other passionately.

"Mum!" Ella pouted.

"This girl." Mr& Mrs Spencer said smiling.

"Go in, and freshen up,, and come downstairs to eat your dinner." Mrs Spencer said smiling.

"Thanks Mum." Ella said as she went upstairs to her room.

**Ella's room

Ella's POV

Today was so good.

Why would Richard wink at me, let it not be what I'm thinking,,,,I don't want to ever let what happened to me a year ago, happen to me again,

FLASHBACK

James was Ella's ex-boyfriend

She trusted him so much until one fateful day.

She went to James house.

He was in his shorts.

"Baby girl" James said as he moved close to her.

He kissed her lips forcefully,,Ella was trying to release her self from his grip,,but James overpowered her.

"I've been waiting for this day,I want you." James said as he tore Ella's dress.

"Stop it, James." Ella said with her watered eyes.

He car

"I'm not stopping,, just calm down." James said as he pinned her to the wall,as he was about to push her,,,Ella took one of his hangers and forcefully smacked it on his head.

He screamed in pain, Ella opened the door and ran out of the house in her tored dress.

FLASHBACK ENDED.

After all this,,I don't think I'll be able to love and trust any guy.

Ella Changed into her pajamas and slept.

**Next morning

White High**

"Good morning sweetheart." Emily said as she hugged Ella.

"Morning bestie." Ella said.

Emily and Ella went to their seats.

They were on free period.

"Good morning everyone, I'm throwing a party on Friday." Tiana said.

"Everyone including the boys are invited." Tiana added as she winked at Richard.

"Wow,I can't wait." Eliza and Mia said as they danced in the front of the class.

Richard and Rayson were staring at them.

"Tell me more about these girls especially Tiana." Richard said.

"Tiana,Eliza and Mia are squads in this class,they are popularly known as TEM'S squad. They are kinda bullies in this class, they get whatever they want." Rayson said.

"This is so surreal,Tiana disturbs me especially during classes,can I exchange my seat?" Richard asked.

"Of course, that is if you're on good terms with the person you are exchanging you're seat with." Rayson said.

"Of course, Thank you."Richard said.

"Who's your seat partner?" Richard asked.

"It's Mia,one of the squad." Rayson replied.

"That's so perfect, I'll speak to her right away." Richard said.

"Hey Mia." Richard said politely.

"Hi Richard." Mia smiled.

"I want to exchange Seats, you'll leave Rayson's seat and go to Tiana's seat,can you do this for me?" Richard asked.

"Of course, Richard."Mia said as she carried her bag from Rayson's seat.

"Thanks Mia." Richard said.

"You're welcome." Mia said as she moved to Tiana's seat.

"Mia, what's up, what's your bag doing here?" Tiana asked smiling.

"Richard requested that we exchange Seats,I think he's trying to avoid you." Mia whispered.

"I know,I will still get him, Eliza brought up a plan,by organizing a party at my house, I'm very sure that Richard and Rayson will attend." Tiana said.

"What am I missing girls?" Eliza asked as she joined them.

"You've changed your seat, that's nice." Eliza said.

"So,,Tiana, Everyone knows there is a party on Friday,that way,you will get close to Richard." Eliza said.

"Of course, you're with me." Tiana said as they laughed in unison.

"I'm so relieved now." Richard said as he touched his face.

The girls were staring at him.

"How do cope with all this starings from girls?" Richard asked as the girls were staring and smiling at them.

"You just have to ignore them." Rayson said as he sighed.

"Let's leave this class, and think the next two classes are vacant." Richard said.

"Oh yeah, let's go." Rayson said as they left the class.

"Tiana look,,they just left this class; will you follow him?" Mia asked.

"After all, you like him but he's avoiding you,try your luck this time." Eliza added.

"I've heard all you said girls, I'll do just as you have said." Tiana said as she also left the class.

As Tiana almost got to entrance of the empty class,she bumped into Ella.

"How dare you?!" Tiana shouted as she slapped Ella on her face, which made Ella fell.

"I..I... I'm so...rry." Ella said in tears as she struggled to stand up.

"Sorry for yourself,you useless thing." Tiana said as she kicked Ella in the stomach.

Ella groaned in times.

"Arrghh, someone help." Ella cried.

Rayson said Richard were discussing when they heard a cry.

"Rayson, what's that sound?" Richard asked.

"I have no idea, let's go check." Rayson replied.

They went outside and met Tiana beating Ella whose face was red and swollen.

"Next time, you'll wait for me to pass, poor thing." Tiana said as she laughed scornfully.

"Stop this,Tiana." Richard said.

"Oh Richard baby,I was coming to see you, before this poor thing came into my way." Tiana said as Richard bent down.

He carried Ella in the bridal style.

"Oh no!" Tiana raged off immediately.

Rayson followed Richard to the class.

All eyes were on Richard and Ella.

"I wish he can carry me like this." Jane said.

"In your dreams." Other whispered.

**Hours later.

"Hey buddy,do you need my assistance?" Rayson asked as Richard dropped Ella inside his car.

"Nope, I'll buy drugs for her and take her to her house." Richard said.

"Okay till tommorow then." Rayson said as they hugged each other.

Richard went to carry his bag in the class,he found Tiana at the window side,he ignored her and took his bag.

"Hey Richard." Tiana said with a smile.

"What do you want?" Richard asked.

She moved closer and hugged him.

"I just asked you a question." Richard said as he pulled her off

"For how long will you keep on avoiding me?I like you... oops..I love you so much,why are you breaking my heart ? Am I not beautiful and sexy enough?"

Tiana asked in tears.

"You're pretty,,I don't just like you." Richard replied as he left the class.

Tiana followed him to where he parked his car.

"Why don't you like me?" Tiana asked.

"Tiana please just go,,I don't know why you're doing this,I don't like you." Richard said.

"I want you, Richard." Tiana said and hugged him.

Ella POV

I woke up with a slight headache,,I looked round,I was in a car.

I peeped through the window.

Richard and Tiana were having an argument.

I knew it.

Tiana had eyes for Richard. From the look of things, Richard is already stressed out. I need to help him out of this mess.

Ella got down from the car. Tiana was shocked and angry to see Ella.

"So it's you?" Tiana asked angrily.

"Yes, it's me, leave Richard alone,,He doesn't like you, don't you get it?" Ella asked boldly for the first time.

"Ri...ch...ard,can you hear this poor thing?" Tiana asked angrily.

"Enough,Tiana,of course,I heard her,,and I believe you heard her too,,I don't like you, you're not my type." Richard.

"Who is your type then?" Tiana asked.

"She's right here among us,Ella." Richard said as Ella interwined her hand with his.

"Oh,,I see." Tiana said smiling.

She signalled to Ella with a death stare.

"Can we be friends?" Tiana asked as she faced Richard.

Richard sighed.

"Yes, only friends." Richard said as he entered the car with Ella.
