Chapter 2 The Grocery shop

Episode 2

Margareta's POV:

"Where on earth has this good for nothing girl gone to?! Am gonna deal with her mercilessly when she comes back!" I yelled as I walk to and fro. Noel gulp down his liquor...stinky man!

"Yooou....should stop worrying about that.....niece of yours....she's....she's not....even.....Nicho......"

I threw a pillow at him before he finishes the statement. Damn it! What a blabber mouth!

"Shut up! Just shut it Noel! You're just drunk!"I yelled while he smiled like a fool he was.

"Okay....myyyy...dear....Maggie...."He passed out as he dropped the bottle on the floor. Stupid man! Argh!

"That girl should better not enter this house or else she would join her mother in where ever she went!" I yelled while I saw Ivy coming out of her room.

"And where do you think you're going!"I screamed at her, she flinched and started shedding tears.

"Go-back-to-your-room Now!"She instantly walked back to her room. I ran my fingers into my already messy hair. I can't believe am in this state because of that good for nothing girl! Esperanza, you should have just taken that good for nothing daughter of yours with you!

"You should calm yourself down. Ivy is just a kid and you yelled at her that much?." I heard someone said from behind. I turn.

"oh! Luca, when did you arrive? I thought you said you were attending to an important business?"

"I came to see you. I saw your Letter for me"He walked closer.

"Why are you worried? I made sure the grocery store was closed and believe me no one would dare to go there "He added and then I heaved out.

"You don't know how dangerous to leave that grocery store open, It's even much worst if Tascia goes there." I took a sit on the couch. Rubbing my sweaty hands together.

"Where's she?" He asked taking a sit beside me.

"And that's where the problem is! She left the house for like couple of hours ago! This is 8pm..she hasn't come back! What if..what if she finds out about the grocery store? What if......"

"I'm Home....Auntie Maggie." I heard her voice from the entrance. I sprang up on my feet and hurried to the entrance. Luca stayed behind.

"Where have you been?" I asked while she sniff...wait; is she crying?

Well, how on earth does that concerns me?.

"Auntie Maggie...I couldn't go to the mall to buy all the things you sent me because of the rain ."She muttered. I rolled my eyes.

"What? Why did you come back in the first place?! You should have just died on the road instead!" I yelled and was about landing a slap on her face. Her hand stopped me half way.

Whaat?? How dare her hold my hand? Has she finally gone nuts??

"Auntie...don't you dare slap me! I...have the right to live here and come back whenever I want! You and I both know that my dad owns this house! You get that!." She was looking straight into my face. She's different from the Nicole I know...Nichole would never raise her voice at me! Not even once!.

"How dare you...How.."

"No more words from you Aunt! No more! I had a long and bad day, please don't add to it...if you don't want me to send you packing instead!" She warned and like I was charmed I was looking at her like a moron. She barged inside her room.

I hold onto my chest...it was hurting to know that stupid girl is now talking back at me! How...how dare her! Even her mother dare not!

"She's getting out of hand...Maggie

What should we do? " Luca walked beside me.

"Get Rid of her before she becomes worse than her mother!."I tightened on my fist.

That girl will pay! After everything have done for her!.

Nichole's POV:

I walked into my room...tears pour like a river, it streamed down my cheeks. I locked my door and lean on it. I was wet...but I don't care cause am devastated and not in my right mind.

Am in big trouble tomorrow for talking and raising my voice at my aunt.. She can send me out of this room...I don't care! Am just fed up! Fed up with life!

I squat on the floor, I look at my phone screen...4missed calls? One from that jerk and 3 from Gladys.. Yeah, I told her about the heartbreak I met. I should call her later cause right now I don't feel like talking to anybody!

I stood up on my feet...I climb on my bed, sleep is not coming..Headache, heartbreak is what's coming. I need to clear my head. I should stroll out.

I walked out of the room and it seems like aunt has gone to sleep. Well, it's better that way.

I step out of the house...it was also dark and one thing about our street is that everything goes like a grave yard when it's late. The only thing I could hear was the chipping of birds.

I look at the Grocery store at the front of our house...this grocery store has been locked for over years now. Like auntie said, It was the only thing mom left. She owns it...

I wonder why she has to lock it immediately after her disappearance? I should check out what it looks like in the inside.

I walked towards it. Something feels strange...like, it's calling me to come closer...I walk faster to check what's so weird about it.

"Stop right there!."

I heard auntie's voice behind. Huh? I thought she's asleep?

What's she doing out?
