Chapter 9 "Our Beginning Isn't That Great" (Part 1)

A handsome tall man with slim body, light brown hair, eyes as sharp as fox and small face, toured himself around the university. He is a turn header, and anyone who sees him walk elegantly with his hands inside his pocket would fall for his charm.

The man, tired of receiving intense gazes from people around, found a peaceful place where he can be alone.

A little later, someone approached him.

"Terban!"

Terban Myers, that's his name. He is the young CEO of Myers corporation, a high end cellphone brand that was known to people around the world. Not only he's good-looking but he is also a promising businessman in his youthful age.

"What are you doing here? Your class will start tomorrow," the man, Bryan, who called Terban, said. He is Terban's cousin in mother side. Bryan is also a professor in Champese University.

He tapped Terban's shoulder then added, "Are you really excited to study here?"

Terban glanced at the hand on his shoulder. A frown appeared between his brows.

"Did you eat cheese balls? Take your hands off me."

Chuckling, Bryan pulled out his hands and raise them as if surrendering. "White flag."

As Terban's cousin, Bryan already knew how clean freak Terban is. And so, he's not offended at his cousin's sharp tongue.

"You are such a clean freak," Bryan complained. "I apologized, okay? I already wiped my hands with tissue."

"Even so. That will stain my shirt."

"Okay. Fine, fine, fine. Suit yourself. Tsk."

After bickering for a few more times, the two walked around together. Bryan toured his cousin, and Terban tried his best to listen at Bryan's chatters. He just couldn't understand how Bryan's wife can tolerate a noisy guy like him.

"Anyway, I heard that you will originally study in France. What made you changed your mind?" Bryan asked Terban.

"Dad is sick. I need to check the company from time to time," Terban explained. "Also, I have another reason why I chose this place."

"Wait a minute!" Bryan gasped. He stopped walking and turned to Terban with rounded eyes. Next, a cheshire grin slipped into his mouth. "Are you still into that childhood girl that you met before?"

Terban rarely smiles. People around him bet that if he does, maybe the end of the world is coming near.

However, at the thought of the girl he was looking for, a bright smile appeared on his thin lips.

Bryan guessed it right. The main reason why Terban studied here even though he had to live under the same roof with strangers is because he wanted to meet again the little girl from his childhood memories.

"What is her name again?" Bryan inquired. "Who knows, I can help you find her quickly."

"Ryan," Terban answered. "Her name is Ryan."

When Terban found out that the name of the woman he had to live with in the boarding house is Ryan, he considered the possibility that she is the woman he's looking for.

However, their surnames are different. Terban was too young before so he could not remember her face too.

'And our first meeting wasn't great,' Terban admitted.

So he's really hoping that the Ryan he is looking for is not the annoying Ryan he met in the boarding house.

'Because if she ended up the same girl, then my first love will get ruin like f*ck.'
