Chapter 10 Pleasure Is Treasure

That night Qi later sprawled in bed, his eyes wide opened. He was staring at the ceiling, his face expressionless. He was awake because of two reasons-the snoring from his teammates and Daiyu. The first reason made him so annoyed that he couldn't bear to sleep-he'd thought he would be given a single room when he became a hunter. Who knew he would still have to share a room with other hunters-ten of them! The second reason made him feel restless. Even though he had found out about Daiyu's mysterious charm, he still felt the urge to meet her! His head throbbed when he thought about this.

He couldn't stop himself from meeting her.

"She's definitely problematic," Qi muttered to himself. He then sat up, removing the bedsheet from his body-he was shirtless. Sighing, he stood up and walked to his wardrobe. His footsteps were so light that it produced no sound. When he got to the wardrobe, he opened it and took out a red shirt which matched the red pair of trousers he was wearing now. It wasn't a military attire-just a casual outfit. After wearing the shirt, he sneaked out of the room, closing the door behind him gently.

Just as he left, Zhou opened his eyes.

"Ah Yu, do you know where he's going?"

Ah Yu chuckled, "When I was younger I used to fall in love with every lady I met-infatuation."

"So you're indirectly saying he's meeting a girl he recently got infatuated to?" Zhou knew the answer but still needed to ask.

"My statement was direct!"

Sigh...Zhou still didn't get it. Qi had been with them from some days now and had not mentioned any girl to them. Besides, he had been at the Monastery for many years so he should be indifferent to having feelings to a certain extent. Why the sudden change? They had been staying at the barrack always except for the time they went on the expedition and when they did the morning drill.

Wait! Morning drill, Zhou's pupils dilated. Qi had fallen from the group and took another route to the barrack. This explains it-he'd met a girl! Based on his judgement, the time spent together shouldn't be long so there was no reason to be infatuated that easily.

"You're not that worthless after all-at least you can think," Ah Yu chuckled dryly. "I've met people having powers related to charm and bewitchment."

"Are you saying he was bewitched?" Zhou asked.

"Not bewitched though. He could have been influenced by just seeing that girl-she didn't need to bewitch him."

Zhou still didn't understand-the Evil Spirit's statements were contradictory. First he said Qi was bewitched but now he was saying he wasn't necessarily bewitched!

"Sighs...You're so worthless after all. Those two statements are true. Either she bewitched him intentionally or unintentionally."

"How would that be possible?"

"Her physical features would do."

"You mean she's beautiful?"

"Yes. Supernatural beauty is what you should say."

"Then our friend is in danger?"

"No."

"Huh?"

"Considering the fact that I didn't notice any abnormality with people all over the street meant that she didn't influence them. What does this tell you?"

"She can effectively control her powers!"

"Exactly. It should be when she met Qi. She liked him and thus, unknowingly triggered her powers-love at first sight."

"So, she was the one that yearned to meet him..."

"Exactly."

"Sigh...Qi should be left alone in that case," Zhou muttered. He then shut his eyes, drowsing off.

A figure ran through the streets, concealed by the darkness. From its physical features which were obviously dim, it was a young man or a boy. He got to a street which had a wooden board nailed at its entrance. On the board, the name of the street was scribbled: Plain street.

The figure then walked towards a one storey and stopped in front of it.

Pa!

The figure leaped over the wooden banister and landed on the balcony. Walking towards a door, he turned the wooden knob and entered into it.

The light coming from the lamp illuminated the figure's face, revealing who it was. Qi.

The room he was standing in was spacious and highly furnished. There were chairs arranged around a table in the middle of the room, a large bed at the corner of the room, a wardrobe near the bed and a cubicle which served as a bathroom at the far end of the room. A lamp stood on the table, burning slowly. It was definitely a bedroom.

Qi arched his brow when he saw that nobody was in the room. Where could she have probably gone to? He then moved closer to the bed and inspected it. Nobody.

"Are you looking for me?"

A sweet, feminine voice sounded from behind him. Ordinarily it should have startled him but it didn't. Instead it filled his mind with charm, making him fall deeply in love with the person.

He turned around, staring at Daiyu. She was dressed in a transparent silky gown which clung close to her body, making the tip of her breasts stand out. He could also clearly see her cleavage. This made her more seductive and alluringly tempting.

Qi gulped as he felt Daiyu's gaze linger on him, making him experience an erection. This is problematic, he thought as his head throbbed.

"Y-yes, I-I am," Qi couldn't help but stammer.

"You saved me earlier today and I felt like showing my gratitude," Daiyu said, walking towards Qi. She grabbed his shoulders and let her fingers fondle with his shirt.

Qi gulped a mouthful of saliva. He felt uneasy but couldn't stop this gorgeous girl from doing anything with him. He seemed to be hypnotized.

Her fingers then slowly moved down from his shoulders to his chest and pushed him. The push was mild, making Qi stagger backwards.

They both fell into the bed, Daiyu atop him. Her green eyes were alluring making it impossible for Qi not to look at them.

"You'll enjoy this," Daiyu moved her hands to his buttons, unbuttoning them. She then opened his shirt, revealing his bear body. She moved her face close to Qi's and placed her soft lips on his, kissing him.

Smooch!

They began kissing, their tongues moving in and out of their mouths. Qi savoured Daiyu's lips, sucking it amidst soft moans. He loved her warm moist tongue in his and couldn't bring himself to stop. Their breathings became fast, dissolving into panting.

Qi grabbed Daiyu's ass and pressed against it firmly, making the other party's cleavage press to his groin. He could feel its wetness and softness.

"Dao told you?"

Qi's mouth twitched, "Yes."

"Yes, I have."

"You like seducing people?"

"No, I don't," Daiyu replied.

"Why then did you seduce me?"

"It's because...because I love you, Qi."

Qi couldn't help but curve his lips into a smile, "You do?"

Daiyu nodded, her smile dissolving into a solemn expression.

"I-I think I love you too."

Daiyu smiled, staring into Qi's eyes. She had heard this from people who she had involuntarily seduced. This was when she had not gained full control over her powers.

"Are you saying this because I seduced you?"

Qi chuckled, "I don't know. But all I feel right now is love for you."

Daiyu smiled and said nothing. They both remained like that for what seemed like eternity till Qi's voice rang out.

"I need to get to the barrack before anyone finds out."

"You think no one has found out?"

"Huh?"

"Dao should be the first to find out. He knows about my powers just as I know about his."

Daiyu had now gotten up from Qi and was lying down in the bed.

"..."

Qi was momentarily speechless when he heard that. It would be awkward knowing that another person knew he had sex with Daiyu. He stood up and reached out for his clothes, wearing them.

"Does Dao have any supernatural powers like you? I mean before he joined the hunter army."

Qi was sure Dao had supernatural powers owing to the fact that he was a regent. Regents gained powers from God through the Sacrificial and Bestowment ritual. What he wanted to know was if Dao had long gotten any additional powers.

Daiyu chuckled, "If you think he's that simple then you're definitely not informed."

"Is that a family catchphrase?" Qi couldn't help but shrug.

"It's Dao's."

"So, you're saying he had supernatural abilities before he became a hunter?"

"Yeah. He has supernatural beauty."

"..."

Qi couldn't help but feel great fear for the Regent.

A mystical item with nullification powers.

Mystical Martial Arts.

Supernatural beauty.

He counted the powers he was familiar with. Dao was sure problematic!

Smiling, he walked towards the balcony and turned to look at Daiyu who was still in bed.

Pa!

He leaped into the darkness in blur, leaving the door ajar. He probably forgot to close it.

Daiyu sighed and said, "He's been marked. It won't be hard eliminating him in the future."

A hoarse voice suddenly sounded in the room, "That's very good. The faster we kill him the faster we eliminate any latent dangers in the future.

"Are you saying he's dangerous?"

"Sigh...He's more than dangerous. Probably more dangerous than Dao."

Then there was silence, Daiyu still lying sprawled in the bed with solemn expression.

Qi sneaked through the hallway towards his room, his eyes darting here and there. The hallway was dark and empty except for the rats which occasionally scurried across the floor and walls. This made him sigh a heave of relief. However he didn't let his guard down. While he was looking backwards he bumped into something or someone. Turning his head sharply, he met the gaze of Dao.

"Y-you are here?" Qi couldn't help but shiver under the cold gaze of the Regent.

"Stop sneaking out of the barrack," Dao said, unsmiling.

Qi gulped and mustered the courage to ask, "You've been here all along?"

"I've been following you since you sneaked out of the barrack. I've been around all the while."

"..."

Qi was momentarily at loss. It was sure problematic if the Regent had seen him having sex with Daiyu!

"One word for you, Qi. Stop visiting my sister."

"Why?"

"There are things you aren't meant to know."

"What do you mean?"

"Uninformed people don't always understand things-you're definitely not informed."

Qi couldn't help but sigh in a self-deprecating manner. Then he watched Dao vanish into the darkness. He walked towards the door and turned the knob.

Crick!

He pushed it open and closed it behind him. Turning around, his pupils dilated in shock. Seated on their beds were his teammates!

"..."

He didn't know what to do or say but could only stand at the same spot with a shocked expression.

Then his teammates all gave him a silly smile, sending shivers down his spine.

Why are they smiling? he couldn't help but lampoon. Don't tell me they know where I've been?

"You could have at least told us that you were visiting Daiyu," it was Wukong.

Amitabha! Qi almost fainted. He could feel the air been sucked out of the room. This was the most embarrassing moment of his life!

"To think you can sneak off the noses of nine hunters shows that you're not informed."

Then the nine of them roared into a loud laughter which resonated across the room into the hallway. Qi was definitely not informed!

Everyone here is sure problematic, Qi muttered in lampoonery as he staggered to his bed. Life as a hunter is going to be long and fun!
