Chapter 3 ( Olive who fell in love with Aaron at her first sight )

When Vanessa and I finished from the class that we were taking at that morning, Vanessa then invited me to immediately go to the campus canteen which was not far from our class. And because I was in a hurry, I didn't prepare well for the event at that morning, so I accidentally bumped into a very handsome young man that morning.

"Ouch, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to. How is it?. Sorry again, okay. Because I bumped into you. And oh no, everything fell apart!" I said to the handsome man.

"Hmmm, next time you have to be more careful too. And when you walk, you have to look carefully, okay! I hope you don't do this again, huh?" Said the handsome man who grumbled in annoyance, while he helped to pick up the books I was carrying that fell off, because I accidentally bumped into him.

And because I was also in a hurry at that morning to pack up the fallen books, accidentally, the handsome man's delicate hand was on top of mine. And his fingers suddenly grabbed mine, my fingers which looked cute and funny.

"Oh sorry, I didn't mean to. So once again I also apologize!" Said the handsome man to me, with an awkward manner.

"Oh yeah. I'm also okay, really. I also want to apologize, because I don't focus my eyes on where my feet are going!" I said once again to the handsome man.

And there, on the road to our campus cafeteria, we immediately got to know each other.

"Oh yeah, yeah. Hmmm, that's it. I accidentally bumped into you too, didn't I. So I want to treat you, can I ?" Said the handsome man to me.

"What did you just say, huh?" I asked the handsome man.

I mean my heart trying to convince him, if his words weren't wrong I heard that morning.

"Hmmm, yes. I want to treat you. Yes, count this as an apology to you. Because I also didn't focus my eyes straight ahead, because I was also busy looking at my cellphone. So I don't know if you are walking from the opposite direction . And you seem to be in a hurry too! Ah yes, introduce me. My name is Aaron!" Said the handsome man while he holding out his hand for me to shake.

"Oh I see, yes. A beautiful name like the face of the person too, hehehe!" I answered him.

My heart was beating wildly at that moment. And I then shook his hand, by giving a sweet smile from my little lips.

"Oh yeah. Introduce myself too, my name is Olivia. Alright then. Let's go to our campus cafeteria together!" I answered while smiling at the handsome man named Aaron.

And at that time, Vanessa was next to me, she only frowned, and she shook her head. Because the incident that she saw in front of her eyes was like a scene from a very classic drama. Of course, it's like a romantic drama that is very often found in any dramas anywhere.

And at that time the three of us then rushed to the canteen. And we immediately bought food. And the food was paid for by the handsome man named Aaron. I was really very happy at that time. It's really something beyond my expectation. My heart and mine were really pounding wildly. I don't know why and for what. This strange thing really seemed to force this heart to beat faster and faster, just like now. Ouch, it felt like my heart was about to burst out of my chest. But I can't stand this feeling, this awkward and this unusual sensation.

"Oh yeah. I'm in a hurry right now. Hmmm, you guys are still here long?" Said Aaron, who hastily left me and Vanessa in our campus cafeteria.

And I'm just silent And I couldn't say anything at that day. Because I kept silent like that, Vanessa then reprimanded me.

"Hey Olive, why are you just standing there like now?. Let's go for a walk to the park instead of you like this!" Said Vanessa who invited me when I was silent looking at Aaron who left us at that afternoon.

And the two of us then went to a park near the Han river that afternoon. Vanessa then took me around the park, until we finally found a bench to sit on. And we told stories. Hmmm, actually I'm not the one who told the story. I just listen to all the babble of her that I think feels strange to my ears, from the mouth of my best friend Vanessa. That chatty young woman who despite that, she always cares about my situation now and then.

I just nodded, listening to Vanessa tell me all the things that she thought she wanted to tell me that day. And I'm just trying to be a good listener, listening to all of her complaints until she's relieved. And after that I also told about Aaron, the handsome young man who had invited us to have our lunch together in our campus cafeteria.

I told Vanessa that, when I looked into Aaron's eyes, I only felt an erratic heartbeat, so that when I spoke to Vanessa, the pounding was still felt.

And Vanessa then replied, "Hmmm, could it be that you're in love, Olive?. Ah, I thought so. Never mind you don't deceive me or you lie to me about your feelings that you currently feel for the man named Aaron earlier. It seems you like it, don't you?. And besides, you were my best friend when our parents were living together in the USA, and even now, our parents are living together in Korea. You don't have to lie to me, okay?. Yes, even if the man named Aaron really likes you back, and also you can be fated to be together. Yes, surely you will meet again with him one day!" Said Vanessa who then asked me to hurry back to our house, because it was getting late.

"Oh, I don't know, Vanessa. I don't know what this feeling is called, what is clear is my heart is beating fast. When the man named Aaron shook my hand. Yes, that's how it is. Alright then, let's go back to our house, because the day is getting darker. It's just going to dark, isn't it?" I answered, agreeing to Vanessa's invitation to return to our respective homes at that afternoon.
