"What?!!"Geum shouted.

"I...I didn't calculate the money I have in my wallet before buying the light.."Lily stuttered.

"Gosh,are you stupid????,so I would trek home all because of that Joseph or whatever his name his???are you shitting me,huh?, Lily?, unbelievable!"Geum yelled angrily.

Lily sighed and brought out a note.

"I only have a buck with me"she said.

Geum looked at her disdainfully then nabbed the note from her.

"This should be enough to take me home,you can trek to the house for all I care"she fumed.

"B..but it isn't enough for the taxi fees"Lily replied.

Geum glared at her and faced the driver.

"Ajusssi(sir),can you take me to the address with a note, please,I don't have any other money on me right now"Geum begged.

"Are you also a fan of Joseph?"the driver asked instead.

Geum rolled her eyes and sighed, then replied him with an answer that came to her mind that moment.

"Ye(yes)"

"Okay, come in,with your friend also"he beamed throwing Geum and Lily into a confusion state.

"Just like that?"Lily asked.

"Of course,I like Joseph also so i would love to help you guys since you also like him"he replied.

"Thank you!"Lily squeaked and got inside the car with Geum and then,the driver drove off.

Joseph walked to his wine bar and picked out a bottle of whiskey.

He grabbed a glass and poured the whiskey inside then gulped it down.

He moved out of the room with the bottle and glass to the living room then sat down.

He watched a cooking show on the TV as he sipped silently from his whiskey.

His eyes traveled to his phone and he took it and connected a call with Ga jin.

"Joseph,is everything alright, it's unusual of you to call me"

"Well,can I ask a favour?"Joseph asked.

"Of course,go on"Jin replied.

"Can you help me put up a vacancy for a maid?"

The next morning.

At cheongsam street🏖️

7:00 am.

The slamming of the door woke Geum up.

She quickly opened her eyes and directed it towards the door and saw the retreating figure of Lily.

She rolled on the bed and yawned hungrily.

She slipped out of the blanket and stood up.

She noticed a folded paper on the light stand and wondered who could have placed it there.

She bent down and grabbed it then unfolded it.

The contents in it read thus;

*Joseph is in need of a maid and the salary is high. If you still want a job you can apply for it at his penthouse. I'm off to the coffee shop*

That means this what was Lily came to drop that time.

Geum scoffed but at the same time,think about it.

She dropped the paper on her bed and went to the bathroom.

She washed her face and started brushing.

She thought about what Lily said and sighed and stared at her self in the mirror.

She shoved the brush out of her mouth and rinse it then her mouth also.

She kept the toothbrush back at its position and walked out.

But,if she could really get this job,she won't have to leash Lily off again and it will really be a better thing for her.

She nodded and shrugged.

She have no option but to try the opportunity out first.

She folded her left arm and walked to the table.

She took her phone and started dialing Lily's number.

"Hey,what do you think about what I said"Lily asked immediately she picked up.

Geum sighed and rolled her eyes then went to sit down on the bed.

"Well,I thought I should give it some trial, don't you think?"she replied and Lily chuckled.

"Of course - of course"she beamed from where she stood at the counter.

"Gosh,I can't believe I'll be going over to that guy's house"Geum grumbled.

"And that was the guy that saved us last night,cause,we would have trekked home but we got helped all thanks to being his fans"Lily replied as she handed two cups of coffee to a customer.

"It was your fault,why would you use our transport fare for a light"Geum hissed.

"Text me his house address"she added.

"Okay, right away,he will start the interview by 8 00am"Lily replied.

"Huh,why don't you tell me before hand"Geum said and sprang up to her feet.

"Well,he just announced it yesterday night"Lily replied.

"Why don't you tell me yesterday night?"Geum scoffed as she walked hurriedly to her wardrobe.

"I thought you would have fallen asleep"lily pouted.

"Gosh,I hate you Lilian...."

"I love you too,I will hang up now,byee......"Lily said and quickly drop the call.

Geum sighed angrily when she heard the soft dirge and threw her phone on the bed then started looking for something to wear.
