Chapter 5 Love hurts.

Ava's POV.

He came back to looking tired, without a word, he dived onto the bed.

"How are you doing?" He said, pulling me carefully to him so I don't feel any pains.

His body was cold and I could feel my old scars and the news ones beginning to heal. What was happening?

"Is it that you chose not to answer, or you're still thinking about an answer?" He asked staidly. He was back to the old dark prince.

"I-I-"

"You?"

I was trembling. He was so close to me and any wrong move, he could rip my head off like what he did with Isabel. Never have I been afraid of a vampire like I was of him. He was different.

"Ava!" He said, bringing me back to the real world.

"I'm fine, master."

"Good. I hope I'm not hurting you?"

How was I going to tell him they magically healed the moment he embraced me? He was going to think I'm crazy.

"You're not hurting me, master."

"Glad." He brought me a lot closer to him after those words, making me feel some tickles at my back, forehead and rare end. As though, there were things trying to grow out of those places. Everything felt weird after the incident with Isabel. I felt different and the prince acted a bit different towards me.

In all, I was happy. As a matter of fact, I'm glad he bought me and not any pesky, wicked vampire. I wonder how Cornelia was doing in the hands of that witch who bought her.

"What are your hobbies?" Ronin spoke.

"I like to play the harp."

"Who taught you how to play a harp?"

"I don't know, I've been playing that instrument since I knew about it. That's one thing I always wondered."

"Really? How about I get a harp so you play for me."

"Thank you, master."

"Don't mention it. You're changing me, Ava. I was never this type of caring vampire but since I met you, everything changed. You have this aura that blows off onto me every time, sometimes it makes me feel powerful and sometimes it brings out a lot of things in me." I didn't know what to say.

This wasn't the first time I had heard this. Liam, my best friend, used to say this same thing.

"Have you ever wondered what it is? As in why you give off such aura?"

"I-I haven't been told that I give off any aura, master." He kept quiet, pulled me closer and let out a loud sigh.

"Never switch on me, Ava. I want to show you a lot of things, but first I want to know that I can trust you and you'll forever be loyal to me. I don't want you to switch sides. I've never been close to a human like the way I've been with you. If it were any other person, I wouldn't let the him or her lay on my bed, much less get close to me.

Something about you just makes me want to confide in you but I want to know if I can trust you. Can I trust you, Ava?"

This was so big. What if I did something to lose his trust, he was going to rip my head of like he did with Isabel. Oh no.

"Why is your heart beating so fast? Am I scaring you or there's something you need to tell me that you're not telling me?"

"There's nothing. It's just-"

"You're scared that I'll kill you? Haha." I looked at him with an even more confused face.

"Trust me, if i wanted to kill you, I would have done that a long time ago. I haven't even fed from you yet. You've just had an effect on me and I met you just yesterday, so this should tell you how strong your aura is. I know I'm talking to much but I'm never like this trust me.

Do you know why I picked you out of that shop? When I entered, I could smell fear and everyone's heart began to speed up with the exception of yours. I was curious to know more about you. When I came closer to you, a wave of power just blew over me.

Anytime I come close to you as a matter of fact, a wave of power passes through me, even right now. When you didn't want to be bought, that's what even made me want to buy you even more because I loved how tough and stubborn you are. You're different from the other humans and I'm really glad. Keep up with that."

"Thank you, master."

"Get some sleep, you need it." I began to close my eyes knowing I was in safe hands.

I woke up in the abyss again.

I saw Lilith and Raya again in Lilith's chambers. "How are we going to do it now, Lilith. There's no one worthy enough." I wonder what they were talking about.

"I think I might know a worthy person."

"Who?"

"Senoi."

"Senoi? You mean the angel?"

"Yes, my dearest." She uttered with a charming glee.

"How on hell is that going to happen?" "Don't you trust me?" She spoke moving her index finger over Raya's face seductively.

"Don't tell me you're going to capture him because you have to be out of your mind to think of capturing an angel."

"Who says I'm sane, Raya? Meet me in the garden of woes tonight."

"Lil-"

"Shush, just come, my dearest. Oh and wear something sexy. Purrrr."

"You're one crazy woman."

"I'm crazy over you, Raya."

"I love you, Lilith."

"I love you more, my dearest."

"So how is this chi-"

"He's coming."

"Who? Lucifer?"

"Yes, pick up the harp, sit over there and play."

"I'm tired of those stupid demons, they know how to get nothing right." Lucifer grumbled.

"What is it darling?"

"I'm just t- I never knew succubi called play harps. I thought those were for gifts from God given to just angels." He quipped.

"Honey, but you can play the harp."

"I was an angel damn it! She plays it really well. What is your name creature?" He asked, grabbing her neck.

"Raya."

"Raya, play us some melodious tunes as I lay with my wife." He spoke as he took off his shirt. Raya watched as Lucifer passionately kissed the woman she loved with her soul.

If she was Lucifer's wife, why was she having an affair with Raya? Raya must have been so hurt watching them.

Lucifer ripped Lilith's dress into half with his finger nail. Raya's tears began to drop slowly onto the harp as she continued to play.
