Chapter 3 The Annoying Neighbor

After a long sleep she woke up at 8 O'clock in the morning. After taking a warm shower she wore her favorite white rouser and blue T shirt.

She walked around town in order to eat something she had not eaten since last morning.

She walked in the kitchen, Eric was making pancakes. She looked at him sadly.

"I have told you, you will not do any house chorus from now," she said taking ladle from his hand.

He fetched the carrot from nearby basket and bite on it.

"You know I love to make pancakes for you," he said.

"But I love to scold you when you don't take proper care of yourself," she said.

She walked towards the main door, few papers were fallen on the floor. She fetched the papers from the floor and started examining them.

"What is it?" asked Eric.

"It's your medical bills," she said, expressionlessly. His expressions changed as well.

"Eric, you have to get admit in the hospital," she said.

He took a deep breath.

"Don't worry about the expenses Amanda, I got it," he said.

"Eric, you got few dollars and we already have spend on this house," she said.

"I did this for your safety Amanda, I can't leave you alone there after me when you know who is after you," he said.

"Eric, nothing will happen to you," she said, scolding him.

"Amanda, I know you do care for me," he said.

"Bro, I will do it for you, I will work and I will pay all bills," she said.

"No, Amanda, you got college to attend," he said, angrily.

"There is no, no Eric, remember, we are siblings, we are with each other in good and bad and both," she said.

He took a deep breath. He knows she is very stubborn.

She got up and walked towards the window. It was cold weather, December was about to start and Christmas was near, a lot of houses were decorated. Her Christmas was always an alone limbo because Eric was always busy with his jobs. This year she decided to make it special.

She looked down at the road in front of their house, a bike stopped in front of the house across from their house and a boy who was riding it took off the helmet, with one glimpse she recognized him, it was him, the guy she saw last evening naked. Her cheeks turned bright red again.

There was black haired woman sitting over his back.

He got her down while dragging her near to him holding her arm and started kissing her. They were almost making out on the street.

She was so lost in amazement when he looked up at her instantly and their eyes met again. She felt the uneasiness again. He was looking at her while kissing the girl. She set down the curtains and walked away.

"I thought this town could be cool but it is all rag," she muttered and walked towards the cupboard as she had to prepare things for tomorrow.

She had checked upon the clothes she had. She choose a purple top and white jeans.

"Hmm, I think I should find some part time job," she said in a whisper and took a deep breath.

She chose a pair of jeans which were not old and a pink top.

"I have to help my brother," she said, sadly.

This room seemed a bit better then the stairs I used to sleep under," she said while observing the room which was actually an attic.

She had prepared her bag for tomorrow and walked towards her bed, she put an ointment on her hand and fell on the bed.

She closed her eyes but then she heard loud music. She had instantly opened her eyes.

"Who the idiot on the earth is partying this much aloud?" she said, annoyed while putting hands on her ears.

She walked towards the window and the light just across the street's house was all turned on.

Their window was huge enough. There were more than 20 people who were dancing and drinking. Then she saw him. He was dancing with glass in his hand. There were two girls who were dancing with him.

"Who the hell is he? He is partying in the middle of night," she said, annoyed and put the curtain on the window.

She angrily walked towards her bed and sat over it.

"I can't sleep like this, this is insane," she said while putting her hand over the bed.

She lied on the bed with her hand crossed around her chest, she looked so annoyed.

The music turned on for the rest of the night at 4 suddenly everything went silent.

She got up and walked towards the window. The room's light was now dimed.

"The idiotic devil is gone," she said while rolling her eyes and went towards her bed exhausted.

She was feeling tired.

She got laid and closed her eyes. It was a peaceful sleep as if she had not slept for edges but the peace was quite short.

At 7 O'clock the alarm rang and she got up with a heavy head.

"Holy crap, it's already?" she muttered. She wanted to sleep more. After all, she had not slept all night.

She got up and sat while putting her head on her leg. Just then she felt something wet down in her pajamas.

"Oh no, not today," she opens her eyes instantly. She touched the surface of the bed . Something wet felt on the surface of her hand, wet and red.

"I am on my periods, God this is the best start of the first day," she said, almost crying and got up. She has to get clean and arrange tampons.

She had prepared her bag and put the tampons in the bag. She was feeling a bit nervous.

After a while she went down,

"At Least I can have breakfast without any trouble," she said while pouring milk in the bowl full of cornflakes.

After having dinner she got up and cleaned the kitchen.

She grabbed her bag from the nearby chair and went out of the house.

"Whatever is this, it is indeed a mess," she said because the road was slippery.

"How am I supposed to go? It is still snowing," she said, annoyed.
