And that was how our friendship started

We became best friends

Our story wasn't like Romeo and Juliet neither was it like jack and rose

We never shared any love

FIVE YEARS LATER

I walked into WELLE ENTERTAINMENT house and I knocked on the door of the director's office

"Come in"I heard his ugly, disgusting voice

I walked in

"Oh,Miss Esther,You are here"he said liking his lips as he stared lustly at me

"Hello sir"I greeted faking a smile

"Have you finally thought of of my proposal?"he asked

I stared at him disgustingly

"Mr Schneider,I actually thought maybe I could come change your mind,you are asking too much from me"I said,

I couldn't control the tears pouring from my eyes

"You are a married man,you can't take an advantage of me just because I really wanted to be in a movie,I am so sorry sir,I am not a slut and i won't give my body out not even to you"I continued

I took my bag and as I stood up to leave

He said"you are playing hard to get,let's see who comes back and begs"

I took a deep breath and left his office

I walked into Adi's office,he was busy as usual with his laptop

He looked up at me

"Hey"he said

I slumped on the chair opposite him

"Hey,what is the matter with you?"he asked

I couldn't control my tears

He stood up and came to me,he dragged me up and pulled me into a hug

"Calm down, Don't cry"he said

He Calmed me down,after I calmed down

"Now tell me what happened"

I told him everything,how Mr Schneider told me to have sex with him just to get a role in a movie

I was just an upcoming actress

I just started my career two years ago and I don't usually get a good role

It is either I get a role as a clerk or as just a one scene actress in a good movie

Or I act movies that are not famous

Tears fell from my eyes as I spoke,I couldn't control it

I couldn't get a good production house to give me a role

It took me long before I found one and now the director is Making it worst

Maybe good things wasn't meant for me

I looked at him,he clenched his fist

He was really angry

Just then he took up his phone and made a call

"I need you here now"he said and hanged up

Adi is now a successful doctor

He owns lot of hospital,he is now a celebrity,he was now the world's sweetheart

People call him arrogant because he hated talking too much

He cleaned my tears off and went to the bar and pour a drink into his glass cup

Later that day when I got into my apartment

I sat on my bed and burst into tears

Maybe I should just find a better job to do than let that monster let me have his way into me

Minutes later Jean came in

"Am home"She yelled removing her shoes and flinging it across the room

She was in a relationship with Jordan

I quickly wiped my tears

Trust me,I wouldn't wanna let her see my tears

She won't hesitate to go teach that old man a lesson

But I don't wanna lose that role

She looked at me and frowned

"What is the problem?"She asked and took a sit beside me

"Nothing,I am okay"I lied even though it was obvious there was something wrong with me

"Don't lie to me, Young lady"she said

"Tell me what is the problem"she said again

I couldn't lie to her,she is like a sister to me

She has always been there for me

I told her everything

"I can't believe that old ugly man,he is sure gonna regret it"she said and stood up angrily

I stood up and blocked her way

"No"I said

"What is no?"she asked

"Pls don't go to him,I won't wanna lose that role,you know how hard it was for me to find a production house,I won't wanna lose it"I said

"Babe,he wass molesting you"she said like she was reminding me

"I know but I can go back to him and beg him"I said

She sighed "fine but when things go out of hand just tell me,I won't hesitate to murder him"she said and I smiled

"What's for dinner?"she asked

Adi's POV

I walked into the building with eight guard trailing after me

I went straight into the room where that monster was kept

Trust me,I couldn't recognize him anymore,he has been given the greatest beating on Earth

He sat on a chair and was tied on the chair

I squatted down

"Hello,Mr Schneider"I said

He raised his head up and was shocked to see me

"P..plea..a..see he..lp me"he said stuttering

"I would help you if only you help yourself,now let's go straight to the business

Do you really wanna have your way between Esther's leg?"I said

And he was shocked,he then shook his head

"Reply me when I ask you a question"I hit him on the head with a stick

"N..no si..r"he stuttered

"So is that what you do?,you fvck every upcoming actress and give them role in exchange?"I asked

"N..no sir"he lied

This bastard just lied to me

I hit him again with the stick

"Do not lie to me"

"I am so sorry,sir...I promise I will keep my eyes of her please"he said

"Well..it is too late because you won't be having the eyes to see her anymore"I said with cold expression

Infact the more I saw him angered me

"Please please sir"he pleaded

I hit him with the stick on his shoulder and he cried out

"You promise?"

"Yes sir"he replied me

I felt like murdering him wait why am I going to far

I can't possibly kill him just because he molested my best friend

I really hope it is not what I am thinking

I shrugged it off

Maybe because she is my close friend

I walked out of the room

"Let him go but keep your eyes on him"I ordered

"Yes sir"The guards replied me

I walked away and got into my car and driver off

My phone rang and guess whom it was

It was my father,he wants me to come home

Pakistan was now proud because A Pakistan has now become the world's sweetheart

Even though that was what I had worked hard to become

I still think my father doesn't have the right to tell me whom to marry and whom not to marry

He told me to come home and come and marry

I wasn't sure I was even gonna marry because I didn't have time for love whatever

I waited until the call ended,it rang again I still didn't pick it up

When I got to the mansion I went into my room straight

The maids and guard bow and greeted but I didn't respond

I was depressed,I don't even know the exact words to say

As I got upstairs I laid down

I decided to check what was trending on social media

I logged into Instagram and the first post I saw was Jordan's

He posted a picture of him and Jean kissing

I smiled
