Chapter 7 Selene

I was sitting in Ambers' room at her vanity. She heard that Phoenix and I were getting married tonight and insisted that we would be married the right way, and Katherine agreed. Katherine and her daughters came in wearing long dresses. They had bouquets in hand, "Here we are," Katherine said as she laid a dress on the bed, "A gentleman came here months ago, asking me to mend this for his daughters' wedding. Needless to say, the union was canceled, and the dress was never retrieved." She told me; I went over to it and looked it over.

It was a simple dress, similar to my dress at the ball but was even more elegant and beautiful,

"It's perfect," I said,

"We have a dress for you too, Amber," Fiona said as she handed it to her,

"Thank you, it's lovely." Amber told them, "I need to get her ready and then get ready myself." The girls were happy,

"We can help!" They said. I smiled and shrugged,

"Okay," Amber said; Fiona and Donella took Amber off to the other side of the room while Katherine and Malina came to work on me.

"Don't you worry, your majesty, we'll have you looking like the queen you are in no time." I smiled lightly,

"Selene is fine, truly," I told her as she turned me around to start on my hair while Malina did my makeup.

It felt like forever they were working on my hair and makeup; they then helped me get into my dress. I went to the mirror, and I was stunned at how beautiful I looked, "Selene," Amber said, I turned to face her, "You look amazing." I smiled and turned back to the mirror,

"My nephew is going to have a heart attack when he sees you." Katherine said a light knock on the door, "Yes?" The door opened, and Adam and Joshua came in, and their jaws went to the floor; Joshua looked at my breasts. I cleared my throat, which caught their attention,

"What is it?" I asked,

"Everything's ready. We just need the bride," Adam said. I nodded,

"I'm ready, but I need to ask you something, Adam." He came up and bowed to me,

"I'm at your service, your majesty." I smiled,

"None of that now; I'm your cousin after all." He looked up at me and smiled, "Since my father isn't here to give me away, I'd like for you to." Adam stood and stared at me for a moment,

"You want me to give you away?" He asked; I nodded,

"Yes, mostly because you didn't stare at my boobs the second you walked through the door." I looked at Joshua,

"Sorry." He said, acting like I was about to kill him or something.

"We should go," Katherine said, "We shouldn't keep the groom waiting much longer." I smiled and nodded,

"Yes," Donella handed me a bouquet of moon roses; he must have told her that they were my favorite, "I'm ready." We then headed to the grand hall of their castle, where I will become Mrs. Mackenzie.

I stood outside the door. Amber, Joshua, and the girls had already made their way in, so it was my turn; I took hold of Adams' arm as the door opened. We walked down to the altar, I thought Phoenix would faint for a moment, but Joshua could keep him upright. Phoenixs' uncle smiled at me. "Who gives this woman to be wed?" He asked; Adam looked at me and smiled,

"I do." He said as he handed my hand over to Phoenix, kissing my cheek lightly,

"Now then," His uncle started, "I am unprepared. Do you have your own vows?" I looked to Phoenix,

"Yes, Uncle Aidan, we do." I gave him a curious look. Aidan nodded to Phoenix to begin. Phoenix took my hands and looked deeply into my eyes, "Selene, we were only about six years old when I decided that you were going to be my wife. You are and have always been beautiful, strong-willed, and stubborn." Everyone chuckled at the last part, "You are the love of my life, and I don't want to live another second without you by my side. I will love you, cherish you, honor you, and respect you as long as I live." I smiled, crinkling my nose at him, but he wasn't finished, "I will also fear you because I know how your temper gets, and if I'm being honest, you kind of scare me." I couldn't help but bust out laughing,

"It's your turn, my lady," Aidan told me. I only nodded,

"Okay," I said, smiling at Phoenix, "I don't know where to start. You mean so much to me, Phoenix. You are the most important person to me. I honestly thought that when you returned home, it would be too late, that you'd find yourself a beautiful witch and marry her. I didn't think I was good enough for you. I try...so hard to be strong for everyone that it nearly kills me, and when I saw my parents, so happy together, I knew that I'd want that kind of love too. Someone to be by my side even when I'm at my most difficult. Someone to love me no matter what I do. I've loved you for so many years and have stayed true to you." I took a breath, "I come before you, a hybrid, a virgin, and your bride taking you to be my husband. To honor, cherish, respect, and most importantly, to love, for the rest of my life."

"I love you, Selene." He said,

"I love you too."

"May I have the rings?" Aidan asked; Joshua handed him the rings, we each took one and slipped it onto each others' fingers,

"I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss your bride." Phoenix took me into his arms and kissed me softly before letting me go, "May I present, Mr. and Mrs. Mackenzie! The Prince and Queen of the three nations." Our little company cheered, but then...a loud crash echoed through the room we were in, everyone screamed, it was a vampire,

"Well, well, well, what do we have here?" He said, Phoenix hid me behind him, "A wedding? How sweet. Who's the lucky bride?' I stayed behind Phoenix until I was grabbed; I screamed, causing Phoenix to turn around to see what was happening,

"I have the bride." The man said,

"Well, then, let's see this blushing bride, shall we." The man pulled me over to the one that had ruined my wedding, "My, my, it's the Princess. The hybrid. Oh, Queen Mara will enjoy this, but first, I think it's only fitting that you get to enjoy your wedding night. Don't you agree, Nathen?" He asked his friend that had a hold of me,

"I think so, Greg." He pinned my arms behind my back as he ran a hand over my body. I tried to fight back,

"Let go of my wife!" Phoenix yelled, the man that held me, Nathen passed me to Greg and went after Phoenix; next thing I knew, there was a blade at my throat,

"Stop! Or she dies." I looked at Phoenix. He stopped fighting and let Nathen take him, "Now, Blake," He called, another man came into the room,

"Yes?"

"Escort the guests to the cellar. We're going to take the newlyweds to the bedroom for their wedding night." Blake nodded and started to take everyone to the cellar. I struggled, but the blade was so close to my skin that I was going to be cut no matter what I did. Both men took us to the bedroom. Greg was sure to keep the knife close to me to ensure Phoenix wouldn't try anything.

We entered the bedroom; Greg motioned to a chair, "Tie him there," he then turned me to face him, "I'll deal with this one."

"How did you find us?" I asked, disgust deep in the tone of my voice,

"Oh, look, Nathen, this kitten has claws." They both laughed, "The Queen knew you were a witch; she knew you'd come to Scotland to learn. After that, it was just a simple tracking which she entrusted to my team." He said as he bound my hands to the bedpost. I struggled; the rope was tight, and rubbed my wrists. He started feeling me through the dress, I turned away from him, but he grabbed my face,

"What are you going to do to us?" Phoenix asked; Nathen came over to me and started doing the same,

"Well, I think we're going to take your wife to bed, then we'll take you to the queen where she will kill you." I looked to Phoenix, who looked like he was about to kill them,

"If you touch her, it will be the last thing you do!" Phoenix yelled. Greg and Nathen smiled as they ripped my dress open, revealing my underwear,

"My, my, what a beautiful body, it's too bad you're about to be ruined and killed; I think I would have liked to make you my personal whore." Greg stated,

"Don't touch me!" I screamed, but they didn't listen. They continued until...

"Tie her to the bed; she's about to get a taste of a real man," I screamed and fought, but it was no use. They were about to take my virginity while my husband was in the room, tied, and the two of us, helpless...
