Chapter 5 |05: Bonetta.

ZION's POV...

I press my lips together, narrowing my eyes as I let out an exasperated sigh and patiently await my brother's response.

He tilts his head to peer up at me with his brows furrowing. "I will see myself to the Grand Arena when we return home." He says through gritted teeth and strokes the back of his nape.

"What?" My mate cries out in disbelief, thrashing against the bed. "Then no, I do not forgive you and you can shove your apology up your arse!" She sneers with her brows raising and marring fine lines into her flawless complexion.

I lurch forward, pinning her down on the bed, she freezes beneath my touch with my face a whisper away from hers. "My brother has chosen death over helping you flee this ship. I think it is you, who should ask for forgiveness from him and tell him you accept his apology." I grumble as I tower over her.

She licks her deep red plumpy lips and I groan, desperately wanting those lips wrapped around my cock.

I have fantasised about taking her repeatedly till her womb is bursting with my offspring. The sounds of her screaming my name in ecstasy torment me during the day and overwhelm me at night.

After years of doubting my worthiness, I have finally found her, and I intend to prove it to the oracles who have cast doubt on my ability to rule because I have not mated and I have no legitimate heir to the throne of my planet.

"Fuck you!" She hisses with bravado.

I lean in close towards the nape of her neck, "Please do, bonetta." I brush my lips against the shell of her ear. "I'd love to watch you bounce up and down on my alien cock." I make sure to emphasise the word 'alien'.

"I'd rather die." She hisses breathlessly. "You repulse me."

"You don't even know me," I mutter, stepping away from her and placing my hand on my brother's shoulder. "You will not be entering the Grand Arena when we return home." I say fiercely, "Rise to your feet and release the feisty human."

I watch as my brother, my most loyal warrior and best friend gets to his feet with a look of integrity swimming in his pupils.

I march back to the room's far corner, leaning against the wall, calmly awaiting the start of the dramatic performance.

"Touch me and I will claw your insanely beautiful eyes out." She screams in bloody murder.

Jaja ignores her, shaking his head as he pinches the bridge of his nose. "I will not refrain from restraining you again if I need to for your protection." He blows air out of his nose. "The Kindred women back on our planet are very, what is the word," he pauses briefly "Uh, yes, melodramatic." He begins by unbuckling the straps around her ankles. "We are used to the tantrums of wanting attention.

"I am a far cry from being a drama queen!" She shouts as she tries her best to kick Jaja.

I cover my mouth with my hand, masking the smirk that stains my face. She is highly entertaining and it thrills me greatly.

After JaJa has freed her from her restraints, she flips us the middle finger and makes a beeline for the door.

The doors glide open, "You have got to be shitting me!" She cries out, throwing her hands in the air then placing them on her hips.

Two of my kindred warriors block her path from escaping me.

Moments later she spins around glaring at me, "Do you require two more men to protect you from little ol' me?" Her voice is drenched in sarcasm and I can not contain the broad grin from spreading across my face.

I chuckle, indicating at Jaja to leave us alone, and as she steps aside, wide-eyed as he brushes by her, I have to restrain the rage that threatens to erupt.

I am aware that her gaze at my younger brother is motivated solely by innocence and astonishment. When I wander through the ship, passing multiple females, I get the same reactions.

The moment the doors slide close, she faces me with her brows raised and her stance wide.

"The men positioned on the other side of the door, bonetta." I cross the room, devouring the distance between us and she peers up at me. "Is for your protection." The look of hostility quickly gets replaced by a look of confusion.

"Me?" She stabs a finger into her chest.

"Yes, you." I breathe out harshly, doing my best not to crush her to me.

"Ha!' She scoffs. "Why, are you going to take me by force?" She sneers in an unsavoury manner that leaves a bad taste in my mouth. "Does it turn you on thinking about me struggling under you, screaming for you to stop while you relentlessly fuck me and-"

"Silence, female!" I bellow, pinning her against the cold wall after hearing enough of the verbal garbage leaving her mouth.

She instantly clamps her mouth shut, "I implore you to keep your mouth shut while you are in my presence from now until we reach my home planet. If any of the females back at home hear the words you're expressing so freely, you will be challenged to step into the Grand Arena and fight till the death." I growl, moving my hands up the side of her body, and wrapping a hand around her delicate throat that has my fangs extending out of my gums against my own free will.

She swallows, the look of panic striking her eyes. "I. I" she stutters, breathlessly with her focus exclusively on my fangs.

"Just so you know, bonetta. I can have any female I want." I say cruelly. "There is an army of them behind that door, ready to drop their panties and carry my offspring at the click of a finger. I have never taken a female against her will, and I have no intention of doing so with you."

I remove my hand from her throat, turning away and I march towards the door with my combat boots creating a thunderous beat with every step I take.

"Oh," I stop mid-stride, glancing at her over my shoulder. "The next time you defy me, I will take great pleasure in disciplining you, Miya. Each and every delicious time." I lick my lips, "To the point where you will be begging me to bite you and offering you the essence of everlastingness between us."

As I exit the cabin I hear her mutter, "Arrogant son of a bitch."

But the smell of her arousal lingering through the cabin tells me a whole other tale.
