Chapter 5 5 (Raped by my boyfriend's friend)

Isabelle's Pov:

I went to James to see if he could reconsider and help me out. I met him in a club where I pleaded for him to save my dying granny. He took me outside, inside his car, saying that the music was loud and he couldn't hear me.

I begged him like a child, but he insisted on having a taste of me before he would help me. I continued pleading for his help. I told him what the doctor said. He later decided to help me only if I have to act as his girlfriend till my granny's ills. He told me that I have to break up with hunter to make it looks real and that after the acting and by then my granny have recovered then we have to terminate the contract, I asked him the reason behind the acting, why he needed me to fake as his girlfriend but he refused and told me that I will find out later.

We both signed the contract, he refused me to read the paper which was the contract before urging me to sign it, I did like he said because I was desperate in need of the money, my plan was that after everything that I have to explain it to the hunter but I hope him forgives me for what am about to do.

He gave me the money and even drove me down to the hospital where my granny was administered. I still can't understand why he couldn't help Hunter financially despite claiming he was his best friend.

My granny was carried inside the theater where the surgery will be carried on, he stayed with me all through the night, he was caring and was even looking out for me that I thought the acting was a prank until, after our graduation, when hunter organized a party for me, James told me to reject hunter and even break up with him if he tries to propose.

When I heard of the proposal I felt like being on cloud nine, I was shocked and happy that I asked James with a smile plastering on my face if it was true but he grumpily warned me to do as he said if I want my granny alive. I have always longed to see the day that hunter will propose to me, the day he will claim me as his own.

But this little devil here isn't making it work. I rolled my eyes at him when he turned his back to me. I have to follow his rules and do as he said based on what was written in number one of the contract. He refused to read the other rules to me except this part.

On the day of our graduation I rejected and even break up with hunter, I was able to leave the place by the mercy of God, I still didn't know how I was able or where I summoned the courage to tell all these to the hunter, my heartfelt empty and broken, I let all the pain out once I reached my house, I felt suffocating, the pain and hurt in hunters face and the eye was piercing my heart. He was hurting because of me, because of my selfishness and foolishness. I felt disappointed in myself, that night I cried till tears were no longer coming out, I slept with a shattered heart, I pray he forgives me after everything.

After some weeks, I was inside James house because he insisted that since we are couples, we need to hang out together and behave like other couples, I am beginning to feel uncomfortable about this whole acting stuff, I was still in my little world when I heard a scream, at first I thought something break but not till I heard another scream. I quickly ran out, on my way outside I heard James groans in pain, I opened the gate and found him lying on the floor, I helped him stand up, in as much as I wanted to run into the hunter's arms, embrace him and told him that he shouldn't forget about me, I can't do it.

It hurts to see him helpless, he looks hazardous, and his once curry black long hair looks unkempt, he looks malnourished like he hasn't been eating for days now, I quickly went inside because I stayed another second outside there, I might run into his arms.

I asked James the reason for the misunderstanding going on between him and hunter, he refused but later told me the reason, he posted a picture of us kissing, but come to think of it, I haven't had any sensual act with him so how come he posted us kissing, I grabbed my phone and went to our group chat, I saw the picture, it was a picture of me and hunter, the picture we had together years ago, but James rearranged everything, he removed hunters head from the picture and replaced it with his own, he even changed the background and makes everything looks real then he wrote in the caption****love is a beautiful thing, finally decided to unveil my sweetheart****, I got mad why does he have to do this to hunter and I, this acting relationship he promised to keep it private and secret, I don't blame hunter, he won't know that the picture was photoshopped, you can only notice if you have a closer look at the picture, but I knew he rushed here immediately he saw the picture and this thing might cause a problem between hunter and I, how will he forgive me, I angrily slammed my hand at the table where he was sitting making him turned to me when hurling death glares at me.

I scolded him for coming in between hunter and me, he caused this whole thing, he shouldn't have posted the picture in the first place, " why do you have to do these, you just tore me and hunter apart", I said hurtful to him.

" I still don't see why you are hurt because of that good for nothing", he said with a chiseled face. " You dare not call him good for nothing", I sneered at him, making him laugh scornfully at me.

"Where was he when you needed to treat your granny? Where was he when your granny was lying helplessly at the hospital"? He taunted me. "You of all people knew he could have helped if he was financially stable", I yelled at him.

"So bad he wasn't financially stable, you left your boyfriend and came running to me for help", he smirked mischievously.

"You're just dirty trash like him, a cheap commodity that's what you are", he sneered at me, making me flinch back a bit. I slapped him damn hard, he was the one that started all this drama, I pleaded for help but not for him to scatter my love life, he has succeeded in tearing us apart.

" I am no longer interested in your so-called contract", I snick at him before averting to go upstairs but he yanked me back and gave me a grimace look before slapping me in my cheeks, the slap was so painful and quick that I landed my butt painfully at the floor, he walked slowly towards me like a lion trying to capture his prey, he lifted my chin and landed another slap across my face again. I stifled the urge of rolling my eyes at him to avoid another beating, blood has already started streaming down my mouth and nose, he gave me a nasal laugh before landing a blow at my face, I screamed and flicked back immediately but he grabbed my hair and drew me closer to him.
