Chapter 3 3(Turning into the worst version of myself)

Hunter's Pov:

We came back after everything had settled, the drug dealers didn't find my way about and I am damn sure that they have forgotten about me.

I started looking for a job which wasn't easy at all, after wandering around the whole of America I still didn't secure any job, I felt hopeless and worthless, maybe that's why James was able to steal my Isabelle from me because he was fucking rich and also comes from a wealthy family, girls throw themselves at him because of his fame and money, not for love. They wanted him for his money and came in his back where they tried to have a real and serious relationship with me, but I always rejected them and made sure to distance myself from his girls.

But what did I get for being humble, royal, and honest with him, I almost got killed because of him, the day he ran out of their house because his parents had an issue and he started that the house was suffocating him, I tried to reason with his parents but they gave me no listening ears.

That day, he ran out despite my words and screams. In the process of running he didn't look at both sides before crossing the road but I pushed him away to avoid a car bashing on him but I ended up getting hit, but thank goodness I survived the accident.

I have done a lot for him but what I got in return was backstabbing from him.

I wanted to work hard and gets Isabelle back to me, if money is the issue, I vowed to make more money than James,to show him that I can't be poor forever, that I am not a fool and can't be played like a ball and to bring back what truly belongs to me which was having my Isabelle under my arms.

Since job hunting isn't working, I decided on a technical business where I create items and display them for sale. I got encouragement from my father, who makes sure I become successful.

It wasn't easy when I first started but with time and through constant pushing, I got to where I am today. My company is the best around this America and best known based on anything concerning technology.

I built my empire, I changed our stories and condition, girls threw themselves at me and tried to get my attention which disgusts me. I became a one-night-stand guy, I still craved Isabelle but I haven't heard anything about her since the day she traveled with James out of the country and I wasn't planning on meeting or seeing her.

Maybe, they are both married with their kids, though I always think that as a possibility but part of me wishes that it will never take place and Isabelle will come back to me. I miss her and am ready to accept her with open arms and embrace her warmly.

My life was moving smoothly just the way I wants it with no worries and drama but not until my secretary decided to quit her job because of some private issues, she needed to vacate the seat, I tried to reason with her and shows her the reason she shouldn't vacate her seat like that but when I found out she has made up her mind of quitting her job on her own, I decided to allow her to avoid any drama or problem stirring between us.

When she left, I thought it was going to be an easy task, not known it was going to be a freaking huge work, I can't continue doing the both works, I need a new secretary to fill in the vacancy.

I instructed one of my workers to post for job vacancy on the social media or any platform stating that a new secretary and personal assistance is needed urgently on HUN. WORLD TECHNOLOGY LIMITED. Immediately after he has finished posting it, we started getting a lot of notification, people kept coming, who doesn't want to work under this company that is well known and pays the workers well.

Girls kept coming, in fact they flooded the waiting room more than the guys, some was putting on a seductive dresses, only few dressed moderate. They think dressing sexy and half naked will make them secure the job. I being a hot bachelor and looking for a secretary streams the internet, though I don't show my face on social media, but I was being described as a charmer and hotter billionaire with intruding alluring face, the owner and founder of HUN. WORLD TECHNOLOGY LIMITED.

So a lot of girls wanted to see for themselves, some even came for hook up and not for the job, that was even the one that annoys me most, but come to think of it, who will want to miss these kind of opportunity of meeting with the CEO of HUN. WORLD TECHNOLOGY LIMITED, the hottest, charmer and single billionaire.

The worst part, is that some just came to see my face and know if what the rumors said is true, I told Mr. Franklin to carry on with the interview and employ any person that looks capable and willingly to do the work, I even went far of threaten him to be fired if he employed unqualified person.

In my company, they feared me, because any slightest mistake, I will fired you, and they can't find another job that can pay them well like the way I do, so the fear of losing your job and going to square one made them to be serious, I only employed deligent, qualified and reasonable workers.

I was described as a workholic, mr grumpy, the handsome devil and the man with no human conscious in my company, I always make sure not to have anything with my female workers no matter how hot that person might look, I club like crazy and had fun like mad but once I am at work, I do drop all those behaviours and focus on my work.

One thing I learned after Isabelle and my best friend James betrayed me, was never to trust any single soul, I refused entering into any relationship after the incident, I made girls see what it feels to be rejected, I slept with them and discard them once I am through, they cried coming back to me for a relationship but what I do is reject and neglect them, I turned into a monster with no human feeling, yes Isabelle made me one, she made me like this.

The once happy and cheerful hunter turned into the worst version of himself.
