😱 THE DEVIL'S 😱 🐾 TOUCH 🐾 [ How To Tame A Bastard 😏]
📌 Chapter One 📌
[What Is My Name?,Am I Married?]
🌺 Jessica's POV:🌺 I opened my eyes slowly and stared at the ceiling. It was blurry white. I tried to remember where I was but the throbbing pain of my head made it impossible to concentrate. My eyelids were so heavy, I could not focus on my surroundings well, so I let myself drift back to sleep. The next time I woke up, I was conscious. My vision was clear and the pain on my head was tolerable. I looked around the room and gasped when I realized I was in a hospital room. I immediately panicked. I tried to sit up but the pain in my shoulder stopped me. I moved my hands, arms and legs, checking for other injuries, and I was relieved that my limbs were functioning well. I touched my head and felt the thick bandage. What happened to me? I must have been in some kind of accident. I tried to recall the memories of the past events. The places I went, the people I was with, the date and time... but there was none. My mind was blank of names, faces, places and events. "Who am I?" I was instantly filled with fear when I could not remember who I was. I managed to sit up, bearing the pain as I intensely panicked. "Why can't I remember who I am? What is my name? Where do I live?" But nothing. No name, no address, no contact numbers registered in my mind. Even my face, I could not remember. I pressed my lips together, holding back my tears as frustration, fear and anxiety overwhelmed me. My eyes focused at every drop of the IV fluid, counting them. At least, I can still count. "My family. I surely have a family." The thought of a family succumbed me into tears. I was sobbing so loud as my fear and anxiety intensified. The door opened and an older nurse came in. "Thank God, you're awake!" The nurse hurried towards me, and said in a very comforting voice. "You're crying. Don't upset yourself too much, it's not good in your condition right now." "Where am I?" "You're in Auckland Hospital." "Auckland? Is that in... in..." "New Zealand." The nurse smiled, and greeted me. "Kia Ora." "Oh my god!" I exclaimed. I could not believe that I was in New Zealand. So weird, that I could remember my geography. New Zealand, a country in the southwestern Pacific Ocean, near Australia. What am I doing in New Zealand? Am I a Kiwi? I don't think so. Her English accent was different from mine. "What happened? Why am I here?" I continued to ask. "You were brought here three days ago after the plane crash." "Yeah." The nurse nodded. "The plane you were in was coming from Florida and crashed near Auckland. You were very lucky to survive. Out of five hundred passengers, there were only a few of you who made it." "A plane crash!" "Thank God." I murmured softly. My body trembled with terror. A plane crash was a very tragic accident. Most people would not survive in it. "I can see that you're still in shock. I have to go and inform your doctor that you're awake. For now, you need to rest, so you'll recover sooner." "Wait." I said when she was about to leave. "At least, tell me my name." She faced me again, her eyebrows raising. "You don't remember your name?" I shook my head in frustration, hot tears instantly rolled on my cheeks. "I can't remember anything! My memory is blank of all names, places, events and faces. I don't even know who I am, where I came from and what I look like." "Relax dear, don't upset yourself." Her voice was so soothing as she comforted me. "Your memory must have been affected because of your head injury. But don't be alarmed, because it happens most of the time. It's only temporary. Soon, when you're properly rested and completely recovered, you'll start to remember everything, okay?" "Are you sure?" I started to doubt her. "Of course. The important thing right now is, you don't upset yourself by worrying too much about it, and get more rest so you'll recover quickly." I nodded. She smiled, then said. "Your name is Jessica. Mrs. Jessica Latsis." Jessica Latsis. The name sounded strange to me. It did not even ring a bell. "So, I'm married? Where's my husband? Did he..." my voice suddenly broke, "survive the plane crash?" "He was not with you. As far as I know, you traveled alone." I heaved a sigh of relief. My eyes shifted at the rings on my fingers. A wedding ring and an engagement ring. They were both very beautiful, especially the engagement ring. The diamond was so enormous. I wondered if the stone was real. If it was, it must have cost a fortune. "Did he come to visit me here." I asked. She nodded, then her smile widened. "A strikingly attractive man visited you yesterday. He caused some noise in the nurse station, the young nurses were blushing and feeling giddy at his handsomeness. I guess that was your husband." "Oh." I suddenly became conscious of my appearance. I touched my hair trying to fix the tangled mess. "If you really don't remember what you look like, then you're in for a big surprise. You're very pretty yourself." "Really? Um... thank you." "You'll see. I'll come back later and bring you a mirror." The nurse said, then left the room. Later that evening, she came back and brought me a small mirror. I stared at my reflection for a few minutes. It was like looking at a stranger with a thick bandage around the forehead. My green eyes riveted at my long hair. I never thought that I was blond. . . 🔥 Aaron's POV:🔥 Much as I loved for Jessica to rot in hell, I could not do it for my brother who had been dead for nearly four months. Troy would be very disappointed in me. Making an effort to look for her was the least that I could do. This is for Troy. I kept on reminding myself and set aside the hate that I felt for that greedy blond bitch. I coordinated with the authorities and together with my own rescue team, we went to the crash site. Hundreds of injured and dead bodies lying on the grassy ground, but Jessica was not among them. She was still trapped inside the plane. Getting all the five hundred fifty passengers out of the plane was not as easy as it looks. A portion of the plane was crushed, and many bags, hand baggages and dead bodies were blocking the door. After two hours of search, Ari, the head of my team came running towards me. "I think we found her. You have to see her to confirm." "Where is she?" "At the back of the plane. She's attended by the medics." I squirmed when I saw the woman lying on a stretcher. Her face was wrecked and covered with blood. She had an open bone fracture in her right leg. Her arms and some parts of her body were scalded with burns. She was gasping for breath like she was dying. I pitied the woman, she did not deserve such fate. I knew it was savage of me, but I wished at that moment that it was Jessica who suffered instead. "Do you think she's Jessica?" Ari asked. "I'm not sure. She's blond, but... " I looked at her fingers, "she's not wearing my mother's ring." "What kind of ring?" "An engagement ring. It has an enormous square-cut diamond at the center, and the white gold band was accented with small diamonds." I knew my mother's engagement ring by heart. The only time mom took it off from her finger was when she gave it to Troy eight months ago. I remembered it very clearly. Troy came home after a long vacation in Florida, looking so tan and happy. We were all surprised when he announced that he was going to propose to an American girl named Jessica Gulliver. A long time ago, mom promised to give her priceless engagement ring to the bride of any of her sons who would marry first. To honor her promise, she gave the ring to Troy for Jessica. The head of the New Zealand Police search and rescue team received the complete list of passengers and some vital information that could easily identify them, like seat numbers, age, address, etc. There was also footage of the passengers at the boarding gate. "Her name is Lauren Wright. Twenty three years old from Tampa, Florida." The head officer confirmed that the woman was not Jessica. "Can I have a look at Jessica Latsis at the footage?" "Yes sir." He scanned the footage, then gave me his tablet right away. "That's her." Jessica looked so restless, she kept on looking around. She wore a plain white shirt and blue jeans. Too simple compared to the glamorous outfits she wore in the photos that Troy showed us. She was holding her bag and jacket, while in line and slowly walking towards the gate. I could see the nervousness in her facial expression. Maybe she had a premonition on what would happen. She instantly looked up at the CCTV camera and her green eyes fixed at me. I was taken aback. It was like being caught staring at someone. I felt a sudden hot flush all over my face. My mouth twisted, hating my reaction. I checked Jessica's seat number and returned the tablet to the officer. "She must still be inside." Ari said behind me. "Yeah. We have to find her inside, now." "It's too late to go inside the plane, sir. The petrol is leaking. Anytime soon, it will explode." The officer informed me, "I already ordered everyone to stop the rescue and get out of the plane fast. It's too risky." That green eyes would haunt me as long as I lived if I would not even try to save her. And my conscience told me to do what I must do, for Troy. Without warning, I ran towards the plane. Everyone shouted at me to stop and there were men who ran after me. But I was determined to get inside the plane and I did. Inside was fogged with smoke. I could smell the leaking petrol. Bloody dead bodies, bags and small luggages were everywhere. It was dark, and I used my phone to find Jessica's seat number, K38. "Fuck!" I stumbled and fell over a dead body. I stood up and checked the number above. Row 48. I continued to walk and kept on checking the number, until I reached the 40th row. She must be here somewhere. "Sir, you have to get out, now!" Someone shouted from the door, "the plane is going to explode any minute. The fire is getting bigger!" "I will! Just give me a minute." I shouted back, then called out Jessica's name. "Jessica! Jessica! Dammit, Jessica. Where the hell are you?" Trying to be calm, I shoved dead bodies aside until I arrived at the 38th row. I climbed up the seats until I was near seat K38. I focused the light from my phone on the seat and there I saw her. She was still on her seat with the seatbelt on, and unconscious. The side of her head was covered with blood. Mom's engagement ring on her finger confirmed that it was really her. "Jessica! Jessica! Wake up." I shook her but she was unresponsive. I did not know if she was dead or alive at that moment, all I cared about was to get us out of the plane. She was so light as I carried her out. I was in a hurry and not mindful anymore that I stepped on the dead bodies. I managed to get us out, just in time before the plane burst into flames then exploded. Later, the medic informed me that Jessica was still alive. Her vital signs were normal and there were no signs of internal bleeding or other major injuries. Well, I expected that. Bad weed never dies easily. Jessica was confined at Auckland Hospital, where she was taken care of by our family doctors. After her Chest Xray, Brain CT scans and laboratory tests were okay, that was the only time I left her. A helicopter took me back to my yacht where Tayla was waiting, clad in a tiny black bikini. A flute of wine dangled between her fingers. "Where have you been? I missed you." She said in a very sultry voice. She was about to fling her arms around me when she noticed the bloodstains on my shirt. "Eww. Is that blood?" I looked at my shirt, then twisted my lips. "Yeah. I rescued an injured sheep." "Really? That's so sweet of you. Was it cute?" Green eyes, soft skin and blond. "No. Absolutely not cute." I answered her. "Let me take a shower first and I'll be with you." After I had my shower, I saw her on my bed, already waiting and naked. "Hurry up. I'm so horny." She looked at me under the rim of her glass, seducing me with her sensual eyes. . . . TBC
