Chapter 4 The Hiccups

The party was coming to an end.

And the guest were already on their way home.

Don't tell me you want to stay? Phoebe said, as Alexandria sat down when they were already prepared to leave.

I have to greet Mummy Emilia Phoebe, I did not get a chance to greet her a birthday greeting. Xandria glared at Phoebe.

Ohh.. okay then. Go, we can wait. Phoebe flashed her set of teeth.

Xandria rolled her eyes and walked to the woman that was greeting and smiling at her guests that was leaving.

Hi Mom. Xandria smiled.

Hey Pretty, thank you so much for coming. Emilia hugged her tight.

But Ma, I have to go now.

My friends are already waiting. Xandria said, and Emilia's face turned to a sad one.

Can't you just stay? Even if it's for tonight? She pleaded, taking Xandria's hands in hers.

Don't worry about Xander. He knows about it and he's okay with it.

And I don't care if he wasn't going to be okay with it.

I want you here... Only if you want to stay. Emilia pouted, and Xandria sighed.... Nodding her head.

This was a Multi Billionaire begging her to stay at her Home.

Okay, I'll go bade my friends goodbye. Alexandria said, and Emilia nodded.

Good girl....now run along. Emilia mumbled, and Xandria walked away.

Sorry People...but my going with you is not working. Xandria sighed, as she informed her friends.

And who said that? Jackson scoffed, looking behind Xandria to see for made her want to stay.

Actually, it's Emilia's birthday and she wants me to stay with her.

Just for tonight. That's what she said. Alexandria said, and Phoebe giggled.

She was the only one cheering her up to stay.

You know... Some times Tonight mean every night. Phoebe whispered, and nudge Xandria's arm playfully.

Stop doing that Phoebe... Be something Good for the first time in your dirty filled life. Xandria glared at her.

Phoebe chuckled.

I'm not the one acting Saint. She Mumbled, and Xandria groaned, staring at Jackson.

Please take her away from this Mansion. Xandria groaned.

Ohhh... See, she's already acting as the Madam of the Mansion.

Wait... Till the get married. Phoebe smiled.

Okay.. stop bickering you two. Jackson scolded like the father he was.

Stop acting as a Father honey, it's making you look Old. Carol huffed, shaking her head.

I don't act like a father. Jackson laughed, and grabbed Phoebe's hand.

Let's go now...Bye. He mouthed to Xandria who waved a hand.

Xandria felt like crying seeing her friend like family go without her.

Ma'am. She heard that small angelic voice call her and turned quickly.

OMG! Amira, how are you? She asked, moving to the dark girl that had her head lowered to the floor.

Stop doing that Amira, remember what I said the first time.

Don't ever bow to me. Xandria said, and Amira nodded with a smile.

I miss you so much, Ma'am. I thought that you'd never come back here. Amira said, with her white teeth displaying every time she opened her mouth.

Hmmm...here I am now.

What do you have for me? Xandria asked, as the walked inside.

Ma'am Emilia asked me to show you to your room.

I decorated it myself. Amira said, with proudness laced in her voice.

Xandria chuckled, as the walked up the stairs.

Whew. That was one hell of stairs. Alexandria said, inbetween breaths.

Her Hanky fell down and she bent down to pick it up.. only to get her leg stuck to her dress and she was going to fall backwards.

Aaaaahh.... She yelled, waiting for her body to roll over the mighty stairs, but it never did.

Huh? Was she hanging on the air?

Or Did Amira did some magic to catch her?.

Cause she knew the little slender girl couldn't hold her like this.

This was a mighty pair of hands on her waist.

Her closed eyes that made her face to a grimace... Parted open and it widened the more.

Hicupp** She hiccuped again, staring at his emerald eyes.

Damn! Those alluring sexy eyes could make you forget about your whole problems.

Are you deaf? Or you want to go deaf? She heard the deep thick voice rang in her ear.

Huh? She quickly made to leave his hands when she slipped the stairs and was about to fall again... And he caught her.

Are you seriously trying to commit suicide in my House? He asked angrily, glaring at her.

I'm so sorry Boss, I wasn't looking. Xandria replied, as she got to her feet and steadied her movements.

Naive little thing. He mumbled, and walked away.

Damn! Couldn't he be a little insultive? She thought, and heaved a deep breath.

Thank God he was nearby or she would have been 6 feet under by the end of the week.

Hummm... Sorry for running off Ma'am. She heard her Amira's small voice say.

Huh? Why did you run off? She asked.

Sir came... So I couldn't stand anymore.

He scares the daylight out of me. Amira whispered, and Xandria chuckled.

Hmmm.... He's also a Human you know. Xandria said, still laughing.

Can we go now. She said, and Amira nodded.

Xandria sighed, looking around.

How was he able to catch her that very moment?

Was he watching her? She wondered, looking around to see if she could find him.

But he was no where to be find.

Hphm. She's scoffed, and proceeded with her walking.

The Mansion was indeed Huge!
