Chapter 2 Everything under control

Everyone looked at the lady holding a baby and murmurs rose among the guests as they wondered who she was to risk her life and object to the Alvaro wedding, it was like she was courting death

"Young lady, may I know why you came here?" A woman wearing a blue designer dress, her hair was in a nicely done up do, the ornament she wore showed just how classy and expensive her clothes were, but the girl with the baby didn't mind as a cold expression plastered on her face and fixed her icy blue eyes in the groom in pure disdain

"Emiliano Alvaro, the beloved son of the Alvaro family, right?" The girl said and took a step towards him, Emiliano narrowed his eyes as he tried to recall if ever he had met the lady before, but his memory failed him because she was a stranger but what was she doing here

"Young lady, my patience has run out now, get out!"the same woman from earlier said in an angered tone and tried to grab the girl's arm, but unfortunately, she turned around fast and threw daggers at the woman

"If you dare to touch me one more time I promise you this won't end well here"saying that her eyes shifted to the groom, the baby in her arms was quietly sleeping not making a sound, the entire church went silent, they had to admit the girl had the guts to shout at the groom's mother which was impressive

"Who are you?"this time a small soft voice spoke and when the girl turned around she saw an elderly woman dressed elegantly in a shiny red suit with shiny expensive accessories, the girl softened her gaze as she adjusted the baby into a comfortable position and walked to the old lady

"Oh ma'am, you are the only one who can help me, I'm... I'm Sia a helpless little girl who...who was wronged deeply"Sia cried as she told the old woman who creased her eyebrows and shifted her gaze to her grandson who was blankly staring at her not knowing a thing

"What happened?"the old lady asked and Sia wiped her tears and looked at Emiliano and back at the lady, the bride had already removed her veil and was wondering what was happening around her

"Granny I...this child my child, he...he abandoned us, and now he's getting married to someone else"upon finishing her sentence Sia broke into tears shocking everyone with her revelation, Emiliano was dumbstruck, shocked beyond his imagination

"What!?" Emiliano's mom exclaimed and stepped forward to Sia who had her head lowered

"What do you mean?"the old lady asked in a deep angry tone that had Sia flinching in fear, but she didn't dare back down, the guests together with the bride's family couldn't believe what they heard as they talked among themselves

"Y...yes ma'am, this...this baby I'm holding is none other than...his baby...sobs...sobs"saying, so she pointed at Emiliano who felt his knees weaken, he had no idea what the girl was going on about, yes he had multiple women, but he didn't remember seeing her before which only meant she was lying but why and who sent her

"You are lying, my son does not have a son, who sent you huh!"his mom grabbed Sia's arm successfully and shook her vigorously but Sia didn't dare argue as her eyes watered again getting the old lady's attention who shifted her gaze to her grandson then back to the baby the girl was holding and frowned even more

"This wedding is over,"she said and immediately several men in black entered the church and started ushering all the guests away of course they were intrigued by what the girl with the baby said and wanted to know more, but the old lady wouldn't let help, it was a private family matter, they had a huge wedding and many reporters were outside if this accusation got out on TV then the Alvaro reputation would be ruined just like that

"Now talk girl who sent you here to accuse my grandson of such an abominable thing!"the old lady said as soon as the guests had exited the church leaving only the family members and the bride's family who had no say in anything since they were in a lower status than the Alvaro's

"No one sent me, this man here is my baby's father he made fake promises to me only to find out he was getting married to another woman"Sia glared at Emiliano who kept quiet, he wanted to deny but now that he thought about it the girl could have been sent by his best friend, this marriage was against his will and his crazy friend was against it too, and hence he came up with an idea to put a stop to the wedding, so the girl with the baby must have been sent by him, thinking about that Emiliano smiled inwardly knowing full well his friend was cunning to have come up with such an idea to stop the wedding.

Far at a corner, two people standing away from the family whispered to themselves

"W...we should stop her Mario...she's going to die right before our eyes"a girl with brown hair whispered nervously and the man Mario with blonde hair shook his head

"Of course not, Sia can take excellent care of herself, I'm pretty sure they won't stand a chance, Rhea"he said with a smirk and Rhea swallowed dry air as she watched her friend put herself in danger, she should have tried hard to stop Sia but who could mess with Sia Navarro

"Mario, the old lady seems scary, what if she puts a bullet in her head huh"she tried to talk Mario out if this because only Mario had the power to stop Sia but by the look of things he seemed to be enjoying the show even more

(Sighs)"if you don't want them to kill us keep your mouth shut okay, Sia has this under control and as it is the old lady is the main target once Sia sheds some crocodile tears then it's game over"he was totally irritated by Rhea, they didn't sneak in the church and pretended to be relatives of the bride's family just to get caught, Rhea kept her eyes glued to Sia and relaxed hoping it would end well.
