Chapter 3 Three

"I have to go, Dad. I visit here again next time." She said.

"All right. Take care." I said.

After our conversation, Luca said her goodbyes and left to return to her clinic. I rested my back against the swivel chair, which was aching. I hire a manager to check all of my business around the city. But I'II double-check all of the income to make sure. It's adequate. That's why all women are interested in me because I'II become the talk of the town since everyone aware that I'm a billionaire but I worked hard for it and they had no idea what I went through in reaching where I am right now.

Do they believe becoming a billionaire is simple? Because of this terms, both side abandoned me. They sent me away because money is more important to them than a family. We got into difficulties when my parents and grandparents died, because of all of their inheritance and the names on their last will and testament we're all named after me everything were still they same if they weren't biased.

It would not have created a fuss if the, inheritance had been distributed among the children and grandkids, that's fine for my parents because I'm their son, but it wasn't appropriate for my grandparents because I'm only a grandson. So, what about their children? Because they can't accept what happened, they refuse to speak to me and push me out of their lives.

Even when our paths cross, we are just strangers. Once they says that I became a billionaire because of greediness. So to avoid trouble between us and the family. I talked to the lawyer again, I asked him to make and new last will and testament that contained the names of the children of my grandparents, but the lawyer told me that he could no longer change what was stated in the will, that it was up to me to decide whether to divide to them the inheritance or not.

So I called them in a meeting together with the lawyer to witness our division of inheritance but before that ,we've got into commotion because they would not allowed me to receive any but do they have a choice? They're an ungrateful human being, I'll gave them a chance but they insisted to receive the whole.

Their reason was my mother should not needed to receive because my father had already from his parents. They just forgot that my mother is one of their siblings. Because of their attitude that time my anger overflowed so until now they didn't receive any amount. Until now I was confused of what is the reason behind why the name of all the inheritance they have after me. They are unaware that their decision was make a mess between me and their children, but how did they know if they already passed away.

Knocking on the door brought me back to sanity. And the door was open, then my Engineer friend came in.

"Good afternoon, my friend." He said smiling.

"What's good in your afternoon, Lance?" I asked him.

"It's so nice, Marcus, because we're going out today and have fun." He said to me.

"I'm busy so I can't go with you." I asked.

"As far as I know the office hour was end in five o'clock and never extend until evening. " He said.

"You should invite your other friend, so that the all of you can bonding." I said.

"They're busy with their married life, Marcus, so I don't want to disturb them."

"What's with your tone, Marcus, I feel that you can't come with me." He said.

"You're feeling was right, I don't want to go out." I said.

"Don't worry, this time it's my treat." He said.

"Don't put me in your pocket, Lance, I know your kind." I said smiling.

"Of course, Marcus, you're a billionaire, it was just a coin for you." He said.

"Shut up. I work hard for the tail of my billion, Lance, my investment of that is blood and sweat. And before you forget, you owed me million the other day." I said.

I don't want to hang out with them very much because they are prejudiced; if we should pay the bill, they want me to pay it because their reasons is, I am a billionaire.

They wouldn't show up for about a week after that, and if they had a problem again, they should come to me and have a pitiful reaction. I'm upset with them, but I've never been angry with them even once. Then I made a joke with, saying that if the situation occurred again, if ever I would pay our bill once more alone, I'm going to report them in the police station.

His face pale because of my remarks, he was afraid that I would make him pay what he owed me early. He suddenly fell silent and sat down in the couch, and he was became serious when we talks about his debts to me. Just then, Lance suddenly spoke.

"Who is the reason of the loss of your good mood today? I want to hit her by broom, because of her you remember my debts to you." He says laughing.

"Even though I'm in a good mood, Lance, I'll never forget what you owe me." I said.

Lance frowning upon staring at me.

"You should be serious once in your life, Lance, so that you could find happiness." I said.

"Wow, the billionaire was like a love adviser, so cheesy." He said to me mockingly.

"All right, I'll have to go, Marcus, I'll just call you later." He said coming out the door.

After Aldo leave the office, I decided to go outside. I lock the room in my office and I'm done informing my staff that I'll go out early.

While, I was lying on my bed reminiscing my past. I'll remember my old self where I'm just a simple girl who believe in the greatness of life and love.

If my once great love never leave me behind we end up together right now. If he has been contented of what I gave to him maybe we live the life that we promised with each other before.
