Chapter 4 The Fairies

"What exactly are they?" Will's eyes were mesmerized when he saw the cute and adorable apparition. When the pure little forest fairies came from behind Kimi, the blue-eyed youth didn't blink at all. He continued to stare at the sparkle that the fairies made.

"The forest fairies, commonly called Elves," said Kimi after a fairy figure perched in the middle of her head's hair.

Even though the girl didn't look up or turn around, she could feel something coming and approaching her. Moreover, they are fairies who have become Kimi's subordinates since the girl was in this house.

"Do Rumi, Royce, and their parents know about this?" Will asked something that suddenly crossed his mind.

"You really are! Of course they know. I said that a few hours ago when we all got together. You don't remember or what?!" The short black haired girl's voice rose slightly. Although it was not clearly shown by the expression on her face, but from the look in her eyes it could be seen that the girl was in a state of anger.

Even so, the attention from the young man who Kimi invited to the back garden paid no attention to him. He only focused on the fairies who began to surround him while singing and dancing merrily.

Although the young man could not hear what the fairies said or sang, though he could feel the warmth, joy, and also the spirit that the fairies brought to those around these little flying creatures.

They are about 20 centimeters in size, their body colors are as varied as the flowers in this garden. The aura that they give off is so peaceful and all anxiety slowly dissipates.

Above their heads there is something funny and unique, namely a crown of various types of flowers that exist in the world. The plants seem to have a smaller and smaller version of the original. The flowers were beautifully coiled and neatly arranged on the heads of the fairies.

The fairies also look always happy, not one of them lowers the two sides of his lips. Their round eyes, their chubby cheeks, and at the same time with thin but red lips made it very difficult to look away from them.

Will enjoys his time with the fairies. The young man laughed heartily along with the laughter of the fairies that other people did not understand their language. However, strangely for William these fairies are ordinary friends he can invite to pour out all his heart. Because the young man understood what the fairies were saying, as well as the fairies who of course understood human language.

This situation made Kimi surprised. The girl's eyebrows furrowed in the middle, her eyes narrowed at the behavior of the fairies as well as William. He was worried if there was something strange about his favorite subordinates.

"Will, I want to talk to you for a moment."

Kimi turned her body and walked away from them who were instantly silent when the girl opened her mouth and made a sound.

Those who were busy playing at that time also felt disappointed with Kimi's attitude. But finally the fairies obeyed and allowed the yellow-haired youth to follow in Kimi's footsteps.

As he walked, William was increasingly fascinated by the beauty of the garden behind his future father-in-law's house.

"I have to come here again with Rumi, it's beautiful ..." murmured the young man while staring at the origin in all directions.

Then when the young man woke up, he was no longer seeing Kimi. Finally the young man rushed his feet quickly in a direction that allowed Kimi to go.

It turned out that Will's guess was right that Kimi walked over to the seat where the young man and his future wife sat together enjoying the beautiful night sky.

"What is it?" asked Will who was behind by Kimi.

"How can you understand what they're saying?" Kimi instead turned to ask Will without turning his body. The girl is still confused about what actually happened to her favorite subordinate and also her future nephew-in-law.

"Isn't it possible?" Will didn't understand the meaning of Kimi's question, because according to the young man, being able to talk to fairies was a natural and normal thing for everyone.

"It is not like that! As far as I know, only those who have connected with the fairies can understand their language."

Will flinched at Kimi speaking in an angry tone at what he thought was normal, "connected? Isn't it natural that everyone can talk to the fairies?"

"Not all! I've tried it, and they all don't understand. But at that time, only I understood. Therefore... I was chosen to be their leader."

Instantly Will choked, "what?! Leader? So you're saying that you're an elf now too?"

"Stop acting dressed up. Your mind doesn't reflect that of someone who has grown up."

"Come on, Kimi. I'm older than you... and I really don't know what you're talking about."

"I was able to connect with the fairies because one day when I first came to this house, to be precise in the backyard that is here... I almost died by something that shouldn't be named. However... some time not long, the fairies came and I finally got the power from them. I was the chosen one... and I have been their master from then until now."

"You mean I can't play with them anymore?"
