"When we had chance to meet again, would u like to have sex?" : It echoes in her head. Jeon couldn't understand why she really cared about that gibberish. But Jane actually didn't ask that question when they met again. Because she was with her man exchanging the laugher, holding each other, hand in hand.
It was one month after Jeon was back in Korea. One of her colleagues just opened a grande cafe so she was holding a feast as a opening ceremony. That's when she met Jane again. Jane was there and when their eyes encountered each other, she shunned. But Jeon didn't care. Jeon didn't even care about her life at all.
"I..Let me puff some cig"
Jeon's friend nodded and raised her wine glass in a sign of acceptance.
"Ooh,it was raining"
When Jeon gazed outside the building, she could see street lamps post dimming and raindrops falling like fragmented glass tears. As she stepped out of that suffocating building, the atmosphere instantly changed. All she could feel was the sound of raindrops and the petrichor.
While lighting up her cigarette, that shunning face of Jane popped up in her mind. Ha! What a nonsense! When Jeon exhaled the smoke, it was mixed with raindrops in her sight. Well, Jeon couldn't deny that the man besides Jane was handsome.
But,that doesn't matter to her,either.
Jeon had a cold after a while she stayed outside. So,she had to leave the table early that night.

When Jeon woke up next morning, an unread text message was blinking on the screen.
//"Would you mind going for dinner with me?"//
While pondering who sent this text, Jeon received a phone call from her colleague she met yesterday.
"Yeah?"
(I'm sorry,Jane)
"......"
(I was drunk last night,so I gave your number to someone.I am sorry. It was really unintentional)
"To whom?"
(I know you always stay aloof from strangers..but I don't know, man, may be her aura was too menacing to me)
Jeon removed her blanked and got out the bed.
"Don't worry.It's okay.I'll change my number"
(I'm really sorry,Jeon)
"No,that's no big deal. I'm going to shower then"
(Okay, okay, but I wonder why Jane wants your number)
As Jeon heard that name, her still-not-widely-opened eyes narrowed more. Why was that "Jane" trying to interfere in her life?!
(Wait,are you guys close?)
"Nah uh,I'm hanging up.see ya later"
(Okay,bye,good day)
That text message confused Jeon for a while. Then undoubtedly, she replied to her.
//"No,thanks"//
Jane was probably staring at her phone all the time. A reply arrived at once.
//"How about coffee?"//
//"No,I don't even want to see you."//
Then,Jane tossed her phone onto the bed and went straight to the bathroom. She decided to spend her days as she wished in a life that being alive didn't even make sense.

After having breakfast, her phone buzzed again. It was her friend again. Jeon got a bit irritated this time.
"Again? What?!Do I have to change my address now?"
(I...I didn't mean to...)
**đź”” Ding Dong Ding Dong đź”” **
"Did you give my address to Jane?"
(I..I think so..)
Jeon hanged up her phone with frustration and opened the front door. If God existed, did he want to play with the rest of my time?
Jane was holding a bouquet of daises, with a you-can't-resist-me smile on her face. What a dimwit!
"Can I come in?"
"What the actual fuck!"Jeon thought.
"You can,but leave that bouquet outside"
"Why?It looks like you.Smells aromatic and beautiful"
Jeon didn't reply a word. Jane smiled.
"But there's no dustbin outside.I'll bin it inside, okay?"
When Jeon shrugged in a manner that you could do what you wanted,Jane entered the house, overjoyed. She almost felt starstruck because what she saw didn't look like a home -- not even a bit. There was barely nothing in a house.
"Umm,where can I sit?"
"This is the bedroom, and this is the kitchen"
Jeon said, pointing to each room.Still, there's only one chair in the whole house. Jane scratched her head in confusion.
"Well,your living styles seems..."
"Yeah?"
"So minimal"
"We're gonna die sooner or later.I don't need much things in life"
"Yes,here is a vase.Let me put these in this"
Jane didn't seem like she was listening to Jeon. Jeon didn't care enough to muster her energy up to say something to Jane, either.
"You can take out when it's withered"
Jane said,winking at her.
"Don't act like that"
"Like what?"
"Like we're so close"
"But we can get closer"
"......"
"Hmm,Jeon? Will u be my..."
"Umm?"
"Let's be friend,Jeon".
"You want some cigs?"
Jane's face was intertwined with bewilderment as Jeon's reply didn't much to her request.
"I don't know how to smoke"
"Then,I'll teach you how"
They stood on the veranda in a lousy weather. Jane was holding a pack of lights, unknowing what to do next.
"I don't know how to light this up"
"Ha,okay~How old are you?"
Jeon laughed her normal sarcastic laugh. Jane knitted her eyebrows.
"26,but just because I can't light up the lighter, doesn't mean I can't handle things a 26yo has to take care of"
"Well,I didn't say a thing,tho"
Jane shook her head as if in surrender.
"How about you?How old are you,Jeon?"
"27"
The smile that Jeon fleetingly gave while puffing the smoke was ineffable. Like Jeon, herself.
"Jeon,can I call you Jeon,right?
"Ha,what r u,huh? You've already been calling me Jeon.
Well, you're one of the most interesting persons I've ever met"
"Can I kiss you now?"
"You know what,Jane?"
"What?"
"You requested too much.
First of all,you asked me to have sex~
And,if you could take those daises inside~
Then,if you could call me Jeon~
Now,you're asking me if you could kiss me~"
Shyly,Jane smiled. She looked into Jeon's eyes.
"Anyway,these ain't no big deal"
"But,for me, yes, everything is tiring"
Well,Jeon was that intangible.
