Chapter 3 -DON'T RUN AWAY

more like a graveyard?

"peter?" Rae called him

He looked back, but it feels intense, he didn't respond.

"why are we here?" Rae continued her enquiry, her expressions tells what's going on inside her

mind .... it's probably like a long string tangling again and again creating a mess. Tears are

brimming at tha tip of her eyes but she's resisting it.

"WHAT BUSINESS DO YOU HAVE IN THIS CEMETERY?"

He want to reply but words aren't coming out. He is not helpless, not clueless either but he

can't say anything. He want to yell a thousand things but right now it's that one thing he want to

say but his glottis feels heavy.

"Peter why?" she asked in a low pitched tone but audible enough for him to listen, her muffled

tone went to silence.

she don't want to cry.But her body is denying her.

Rae turned back and started to walk away from there. Peter grabbed her hand.

DEAD SILENCE

"Please Peter" after a pause "take you hands off my arm, I need to leave"

"Raech-" he want to reach out to her but the distance grew so much in thiscouple of seconds.

"don't reach out to me ever again" Raechell said

"rae please stop this" he spoke "stop doing this to yourself"

"stop doing what?"

"Don't make me say it"Peter pleaded

"then don't say it""Rae listen to me"

"LISTEN WHAT? I was completely fine when i was at home; then you dragged me out and is this

where you supposed to take me..THIS GRAVEYARD?"

"do you think this is what Aslan wants you to do? To shut down the entire world and be in a room just staring at a window" Peter asked

"how do you know what he wants, have you ever noticed what he need"?

"why are you-.... you don't mean it do you?"

"forget it Peter, I'm leaving"

"why are you running away Rae? Why are you running away from your life? why are you running

away from the truth?"

silence

"take- take your hands off" rae said

"Rae"

"TAKE YOUR HANDS OFF OF ME" she threw away Peter's hand and started to run, by each second

her pace also increased. She doesn't know where's she's heading. All she want to do is to run; run

away from the graveyard.

She is crying . Those tears which failed to fall off earlier is now flowing like a waterfall. She's not resisting

it either. She remembered something;

"when you want to feel something, feel it. Don't try to bottle up your emotions, it'll burst some

day and you might not be able to withstand the impact;

so when you wanna cry just cry,

when you want to laugh laugh,

when you want to hug ask for as hug,

when you want to scream SCREAM"

and a laughter was audible in her memories. Oh yes that's him Aslan, her Ash.

(meanwhile Peter)

"don't run way Rae" whimpering "please don't run away "

He tried to catch her but his faltering mind made his pace weak andevery attempts went futile.

He looked back to the graveyard one last time;to a specific corner where a gravestone covered

with purple primroses is found.

"Am I failing Ash?"

He looked at the grave one last time
