Chapter 6 Come to My Room

Sure enough, Carole, who was as innocent as a little bunny, smiled pleasantly and said, "Since so many women like you, I must be nothing to you. I think you must be a gentleman and won't force me to have sex with you. Right?"

Carole's expression was innocent, but the rays of wily light in her eyes did not escape Oscar's gaze.

Oscar snorted coldly and dropped his eyes to stare at the food on the table. "Never talk during a meal."

What the hell?

Carole shut up immediately.

She buried her head to eat quietly, feeling uneasy on the inside.

Oscar did not say anything else, and after he had eaten a little, he put down his cutlery and got up to leave.

Carole busied herself with finishing the food in her bowl and chased after the man. "Have you thought about what I just said?"

"Yes, I have," Oscar said, but did not stop his pace.

"Have you agreed to let me go?" Carole blinked and asked expectantly.

"Come to my room!"

Carole did not know what to say for a moment.

Was this man still unwilling to let her go?

Carole gritted her teeth and inwardly called him a rich bastard.

"What's wrong? You want to go to accompany your mother?" Oscar's cold voice came from above the stairs.

Carole's body shivered all over in an instant.

She had to give up on the idea of leaving.

By the time she made it up the stairs, Oscar was nowhere to be seen in the hallway. Only one door was half-open.

Carole closed her eyes and took a deep breath.

Then, clenching her fists, she approached the door.

Before she knocked, the door was opened from inside the room.

Oscar was standing by the door with one hand on the frame, looking at her meaningfully.

He was tall, and Carole, standing in front of him, looked weak as a sapling.

His overpowering vibe was like an all-pervading wind, and Carole had nowhere to hide.

Carole lowered her head and spoke slowly, "Actually, I think we should talk!"

"Come on in!"

Oscar took a few steps back to let the woman in the room.

Carole kept her head down, not daring to look at the man but staring at her shoes, and she felt the air suddenly become thin.

One second, two seconds, five seconds...

"Mr..."

"Miss..."

They opened their mouths at the same time.

Carole touched her earlobe, smiled, and said, "You first!"

"Come here!" Oscar patted the couch and motioned for her to sit down.

Carole sat down with forced composure, gave a pleasing smile, and then said, "You know, I do have a husband. And I don't like casual sexual relationships."

"I didn't see that!" Oscar gritted his teeth in hatred as he thought of the pictures he had just seen.

Those emotions filled Oscar's eyes with a hint of cruelty. "I heard that you had ninety-nine blind dates before me?"

"Those are just acting."

"How many men have you touched with those hands?"

Carole did not speak.

"Or, how many men have touched your hands?"

"It's not what you think it is!" Carole hastily denied it.

She was a chaste woman, had maintained a decent distance with those men on those blind dates, and had never let any of them take advantage of her.

But this day was an exception as she dared to flirt with Oscar at the clubhouse.

That made him misunderstand her and bug her instead of letting her go.

But why should he care about that? Who did he think he was?

Carole cleared her throat and said with a grave expression on her face, "I don't know what you've misunderstood. But, I'm really a simple and pure woman. All I did was to force my husband to show up. I'm his wife and would never do anything wrong to him!"

"Is that so?" Oscar's deep, dark eyes suddenly lit up.

He was pleased with what Carole had said.

Primarily when she addressed him as "my husband."

He could not help but lean in closer to the woman.

Carole felt a compelling, dangerous vibe approaching her.

"Do you miss your husband?"
