Chapter 9 Repeated Embarrassments

In an instant, Jane felt embarrassed for someone encountering her and Edward under such an occasion. How could she face others if this spread out?

Jane flushed, and took her hands out of his control. Edward became serious quickly, tidying up his straight suit and standing beside Jane.

Seeing the old man walking over on crutches, he nodded obediently and smiled, "Grandpa."

Jane's scalp prickled, and her heart beat like a drum, showing that she was nervous.

She looked at this old man dressed in Tang suit. He was with a serious face, very majestic, and his hair was well combing that even a super fan would not make it messy. She hurriedly stood in place, put her hands together in front of her belly, and then bent over and bowed deeply, "He-, hello, Grandpa Pike!"

Edward's eyes widened, and then he smiled, "How could I do that to her? I'm very nice to her." He answered as he raised his hand to put it on Jane's shoulder. Her delicate skin gave him a feeling that he wanted to get closer to her and grope more about her.

Except for her brother, Jane had never been so close to a man. At this moment, Edward's manly breath came to her nose, making her blush repeatedly, and her heart racing.

"Hum? Tell grandpa. I don't want him to misunderstand me." Edward smiled, and his big hand gently rubbed Jane's shoulder. Even his gaze toward Jane's eyes became a little gentle.

Jane opened her red lips slightly to look at him, and then recalled to her senses immediately. She shook her head to Old Master Pike hurriedly, "Thank you for your concern, Grandpa Pike. Ed, he didn't bully me."

After Jane relaxed, she turned to look at Edward and found that he had been touching her shoulder for a long time. She quickly knocked out his hand and stepped back.
