Chapter 6 To get the cat

Wilson stepped off the elevator with an iron face and he walked to the front desk, just happened to see the manager standing next to the front desk, so he pointed at him and said in a deep voice, "Find out the list of yesterday's surveillance and banquet for me, and find out who the woman I took yesterday was! Be quick!"

After saying that, he left the hotel without looking back, he got into the car waiting at the door and headed in the direction of the company.

"It's a good thing I have a bus pass and can afford to ride the bus, it's a good thing I am not late!"

Olivia took the attendance card in her hand; she looked at the time on it and patted her chest and smiled.

Her body still hurt like hell and her head was groggy, but it was already time for work and she didn't have the energy to think about what happened yesterday.

"Olivia, where were you last night?"

Olivia just walked to his desk and sat down; she turned her head and saw Martin Smith walking towards her, he asked urgently.

"What's it to you?"

She glanced at Martin and turned her head as she sorted through the papers on her desk.

"Why is it none of my business anymore? I called you and you didn't answer and I went to the place you were renting and Lucy Blake said you didn't go back at all!"

Martin said to her as soon as he pressed Olivia's shoulder and broke her over.

"Yesterday I made it very clear to you that we have parted ways, where I am in my right and freedom, and also I asked Director Smith to focus on yourself, this is the office space."

Olivia frowned at him and she continued to sort through papers after she finished, not paying him any more attention.

"Olivia...I'm sorry...I...."

"Director Smith, Manager Wood from Hoch Garment Company is here, he is in the parlor, please hurry over."

A woman's voice interrupted Martin, and Olivia turned her head to find that it was Mary, Martin's intern assistant.

"We'll talk when we're done."

Martin gave her shoulder a heavy squeeze and he left.

"Whew........"

Trouble was finally avoided for the time being; Olivia looked at the two people's backs, she sighed heavily and buried her head to start the day's work.

On the other hand, in the office of Bert Real Estate Company, Wilson was sitting in his boss's chair with a stack of materials cupped in his hand, reading intently.

"Olivia, an intern assistant in the PR department of Blue Advertising Agency, was a recent graduate of the University of Media Advertising Design."

He laughed coldly and stared at Olivia's picture on the color printed paper page, pulling the corners of his mouth, "I thought how capable and noble you are, turning out to be a small intern?"

Wilson snapped the information and threw it onto the desk; he reached for the phone on the desk and dialed an intercom, "Get in touch with Blue Advertising Agency, just say that wants to find their company to make the promotion of the new building this time."

After Wilson did all this, it was as if he had avenged a great debt, and his mood finally became soothed.

He couldn't imagine the wonderful look on her face when he appeared in front of her!

Thinking about it, he smiled and got up and walked to the office door, he grabbed his coat off the hanger and headed out the door.

On a great day like this, of course, he should go for a drink!

The news from Blue Advertising came quickly, and Wilson got out of the car just as he drove to the entrance of the Brass Bar, his secretary called him and said that if nothing was wrong in the afternoon, Blue Advertising could come over anytime.

The Brass Bar hadn't opened yet, it was only 2 p.m., and it wouldn't open for regular customers until 6 p.m.

However, Wilson was not an ordinary customer; he grew up together with the owner Allen and they couldn't be more intimate.

"Have a whiskey."

Wilson sat down at the bar, fingers tapping on the cold marble countertop, and he spoke slowly to the bartender.

"Why is Master White smiling so happy today? But what's good about it?"

Allen had just stepped into the bar on his forefoot when he saw Wilson sitting on the bar, so he pulled the corner of his mouth and asked lazily towards him.

"Isn't it? Found a disobedient cat that was going to get it a while later?"

Wilson looked back at Allen and smiled, ''Why did you come so early? Isn't today the day your dad's new product comes out?"

"What does it matter to me? It's not like I have a new product on the market." Allen casually yawned, and his eyes narrowed slightly as a wink of laughter hooked around his mouth, "I'm interested in the cat you mentioned, what kind of cat is it?"

"An unclean cat that stole a fish and then wiped it..." Wilson's eyes sank for a moment, and the smile on the side of his mouth retracted, he glanced at his watch and looked up at Allen, "Go, accompany me to a meal."

Olivia had also reached the time for lunch, and she sat down in the corner with her plate in hand, extending her clutches at the full plate of food.

She was now penniless and she had very little money left in her company's meal card, so it seemed that she still had to borrow some money from Lucy at night, so that she could at least make ends meet this month.

As soon as Lucy was mentioned, her cell phone rang.

"Lucy, why are you calling at this hour?"

"And you dare to say that, I had called you so many times last night, you didn't even return it... Martin Smith found his way downstairs last night...and he wanted me...."

"I broke up with him yesterday."

Olivia interrupted Lucy's words on the other side of the phone and she gave a concise and clear account of the results.

"Broken up? Why? And where were you last night?"

Olivia was suddenly speechless on the phone, she stammered for a moment and said, "It was a breakup anyway...yesterday...I...I went home!"

After talking about borrowing money with Lucy, Olivia hurriedly hung up the phone. Lucy was her best friend from childhood, and she had nothing to say to herself, lying to her like this was still the first time Olivia had ever done it.

After receiving the phone call, Olivia no longer had any taste with his food, she sat in the dining room for half the day, only to re-enter the office when it was time for work.

She had just walked into the office when Mary walked towards her, "Olivia, the boss is looking for you, hurry up, and he was in the VIP parlor."

Olivia froze and she felt inexplicable, she had been interning there for more than two months, and she had met her boss just once during a potluck.

Why would the boss want to see her, a small intern, in a VIP lounge that is not normally open to regular clients?
