Chapter 4 Making a Deal with Him

The wound was in the abdomen, Felix had to lie down to get the bullet out, but if he lay flat he could not see Susie's movements, so he padded the pillow higher and could barely see her.

Susie's hands were slightly trembling, even if she had experienced such a tragic past life, she was just a bit more bold and thoughtful, not a doctor after all.

Felix could see Susie's fear, and his voice brought a little bit of warmth with it, soothing her in a small voice, "Don't be afraid, no harm was done, just take out the bullet and stop the bleeding in time."
