Chapter 2 It's better off if you stay put, Nina

Who is Steve Kent?

The Third Youngest Master of the Kent family. While nobody stood in the way of Steve Kent in Arlington City, she was blocking his way, right in front of his car.

When she was pushed to the ground, Nina naturally raised her hands to support herself. As soon as she loosened her grip, the sheet on her body spread open, scattered on her chest just in time and covered her in an embarrassing way.

She pulled the sheet up hurriedly in reaction. As she got up on her feet and intended to flee, the car door flung open. The first thing she saw was a pair of shiny shoes and two straight and slender legs wrapped in black trousers, both forbidding and attractive.

Furthering up, Nina clearly saw his bony fingers gently clasping on the bow tie, and the man's protruding Adam's apple moved slightly up and down. It was a very distinctive face, with catching black eyes and a faint smile.

He looked at her in such a condescending manner that Nina chilled underneath her skin.

At this moment, even Zara, who was just screaming insanely, dared not to say a word. The whole bunch of people of the Green family stood by the gate of the villa, watching how Nina, who was still sitting on the ground, would deal with this unexpected trouble.

Supporting herself by the arms, Nina had wanted to get up and get out of the way in the first place, but now, she dared not to move at all. Pressing her lips, she just hoped that the man in front of her would show mercy for once.

But in the next second, she knew it was a vain hope.

When the man suddenly moved, she felt her vision slightly darkened, and without any time to react, she heard the teasing voice of Steve's: "Why such a big salute."

Saying that, he reached out his hand towards her.

Nina's entire body stiffened, her eyes looking at the hand with long knuckles in front of her, her fingertips colder and colder.

Seeing her froze on the ground like that, Steve grinned lightly, "What, can't you even move, or you need me to pick you up?"

The seductive tone of voice made Nina turn pale. she pressed her lips and was about to say something when the sound of flashing cameras came from the street corner.

No one had ever thought of this abrupt change, and Nina subconsciously looked towards Steve.

The smile on his face was a little deeper, but when his gaze swept over the reporters, there was a hint of coldness in his eyes.

Steve took back his gaze and suddenly stretched out his hands to hold her up.

Nina was stunned for a moment and subconsciously pushed him in response: "Third Young Master...."

"It's better off if you stay put, Nina."

How she dared to move when the Third Young Master of the Kent family gave his words. Even if she were to take a breath, she would have to lighten up in order to survive, not to mention moving around.
