Chapter 4 Be My Wife

After sleeping for a whole day, Jill woke up at midnight..

It was at night and the light wasn't on in the room so she couldn't see anything clearly.

The pain in her leg kept coming, making her realize that she was still alive.

She remembered the car accident in the daytime.

Wasn't she dead? Where was she?

In the dim light, she looked around and the instinct told her that she was in a hospital.

"You woke up?" A strange male voice came from the room all of a sudden.

"Who are you?" Jill searched for him in her mind and made sure that she didn't know the man, so she looked toward the voice direction vigilantly.

She seemed to see a black shadow faintly beside the window.

For the light in the room wasn't on and that man didn't make any sound, she didn't even know there was another man in the room.

By the dim light outside the window, she could see a man sitting on a sofa but she couldn't see his look clearly.

"You saved my son. Here we are in a hospital." The man answered a seemingly irrelevant question.

Saved his son? Jill thought for a while and remembered that she got into a car accident because she was going to save a child in the afternoon. She asked desperately with concerns, "How is he?"

"He is fine." No more words.

His voice was very cold without any warmth in it.

Jill was relieved after hearing that. Anyway, as long as the child was good, she didn't mind about her injuries.

She moved her body and found that everything was fine except that her right leg was in plaster. So she felt more relaxed. She had thought she would die this time!

"Be my wife!" All of a sudden, he opened his mouth.

The three simple words made the person who was listening feel scary.

"Excuse me, what did you say?" Jill thought she must hear it wrong. How could this man ask her to be his wife!

"Be my wife. I can give you everything you want." The man opened his mouth, as if he was talking a deal.

It seemed that she didn't hear it wrong. It was he that went crazy! They even didn't know each other, but he was...proposing to her!

Jill was totally at a loss.

"Sir, I don't know why you put forward such a ridiculous proposal, but I will never agree! Moreover, I even don't know what you look like." She refused righteously.

"Are you worried that I might be ugly?" The man said while turning on the light in the room with a remote.

The room was bright in an instant.

Jill didn't get used to the sudden light and finally opened her eyes after she gradually adapted.

In her sight was a super handsome face.

Unadorned black hair cast a shadow on his forehead and the well-cut dark suit highlighted his outstanding figure. He sat with his long and slim legs crossed, revealing his noble temperament. Deep eye lights between his eyebrows strengthened his cold and mysterious aura.

Just now...did this man propose to her at first sight?

Jill couldn't believe it at all.

She admitted that she had thought this man hided in the darkness must be due to his ugly look. But it turned out that he was so handsome with such an impressive temperature. He was not ugly at all!

After checking his appearance, she was more puzzled. Unless he had some unmentionable diseases, how could he ask her to be his wife for no reason?

Wait. He looked a bit familiar.

Jill carefully stared at him for a few more seconds.

"You...you are Mr. President!" She was looking at him with her eyes wide open out of surprise. Obviously she didn't believe it at all.

OMG! How could it be possible! The noble president of Country S was...proposing to her!

"Yes."

A simple answer as usual.

Damn it! Indeed he was!

Jill got more astonished. Such a man was really proposing to her? It was like a dream.

"You...have unmentionable diseases?" She asked again.

Except this one, she couldn't think of other reasons for him to marry her.

Her words made the man opposite her knit his brows tightly. How dare this woman say it!

"Okay, forgot it!" Seeing his face that was about to erupt in fury, Jill changed her words immediately.

Even if he had unmentionable diseases, it was not her turn to marry him! He was the noble Mr. President of Country S! For a man like him, there were definitely countless ladies and misses squeezing themselves into his arms!

"My words are not so accurate. More specifically, I want you to be my wife in name." Leon explained to her.

"But why me?" She didn't get it and raised her head, looking at him, "Even if you want a wife in name, it is a piece of cake for you!"
