Chapter 5 ELENA AND THE WITCH

CHAPTER FIVE

Aurora the witch is a beautiful goddess, who lived in the forest for over a century but she never gets old as age plays an absent role in her life, No one enters the evil forest and comes out alive.

Aurora felt being isolated will only make life worst and more boring. She is callous, crafty, and heartless. But when she saw Elena's everything changed as she intends to help her due to the major challenges she has gone through.

She took Elena to her cottage and she prepares more delicacies for her.

"Thank you so much! Have never seen a caring witch before" Elena said as she grins.

"A Witch is never caring unless she has a plan," Aurora said.

"A plan!!!, if I may ask what plan is that?". Elena asked

"A plan of good and not of evil". She replied.

Elena was curious to know what the plan is, She kept her cup of wine as she pays ears to her words.

The witch stood up drifting while she gave Elena a beautiful ring.

" What is this for?" Elena asked.

"Is a gift from me put it on". She replied.

Elena plop the ring on her index finger in her left hand, instantly she became unconscious as the witch began to cast the spell.

She spoke magical words as she proceeded with her enchantment, there was lightning of thunders and the atmosphere was filled with heavy wind. The cloud became dark while some animals in the forest took to their hill.

After the enchantment Elena woke up, her eyes became blue, she became callous, arrogant, and cruel.

"I have deposited my powers on you I have made you a goddess I live in You because you accepted my proposal you will serve me more as long as the ring stays in your finger!!".

"No one can break my spell unless you find true love. And true love is hard to find because Goddess don't fall in love" Aurora said as she giggled.

After the enchantment, she took Elena to a very tall mountain then she proceeded in deciphering magic for her.

Elena became a mighty goddess, she has the power to do whatever she wishes. She was two weeks pregnant without her awareness, Aurora knew about this as she explained with a terrified voice.

"First time I saw you I knew you were pregnant, I saw all that you went through and how your uncle defiles his matrimonial bed!". She laughed as she continues.

"Although weeping may last for the night, Joy comes in the morning. You can't be pregnant for your uncle. Never!!, He won't accept the baby even if he does he will send you parking."

"Nothing goes for nothing your baby was in exchange for your magic, the spell has been cast upon you and the sacrifices has been made. So is time to take revenge, make him suffer what you went through".

They chuckled as they repeatedly utters the word "REVENGE"!! This should be a word to boost Elena's mindset and hatred for his uncle.

NEXT DAY.

It was Friday, my favorite day in school many activities are not done, and students are given a chance to showcase their talent.

I came late to school at about 10 a.m the gateman refused me an entrance, he told me lateness is highly prohibited and students are not allowed in when they are late.

I stood outside the gate looking at him as he explained further after his explanations he locked the gate thinking I was outside.

He was astonished when he saw me inside, I thanked him for ushering me in. But he became confused as he ponders curiously how I came in.

It was break-time, I went to the class to meet my lovely friends they ran towards me as they notice my presence.

"Waw!!!, Elena where have you been? we've been looking for you". Caroline said.

"Your uncle and his wife thought we are hiding you from them". Rose said as she tries holding Elena's hands.

" We are glad you are back your uncle and his wife will love to see you". Jane said.

The three friends embrace Elena as they were happy to see her.

"Well am back to take revenge!".

"What revenge?" The three friends choruses asked.

Elena kept mute as she went out of the class, her friends followed her looking worried as they kept pondering on the same question.

"What revenge is she talking about?"...

Elena was walking around the school premises she saw one of the students whose name is Frank, He was bullying Sarah as she cry for help

She tried settling the dispute but Frank felt he is man enough to defend the dispute as he tried tackling Elena.

"You are not invited here, you bitch!". He said.

Elena could not control her anger as she used her magical power to transform frank into a globin.

Everyone took to their hill leaving Elena and her friends.

"This is strange where did she get this power from?" Her friends continuously asked themselves while they look terrified.

They went close to Elena pleading on their knees for her to make frank a living being rather than being a globin.

After long pleading, Elena decided to transform frank back to his normal self, Frank screamed and ran for his dare life.

The news circulates all over the school premises as all students became afraid of Elena even the teachers never tried to lay their hands on her as they became terrified.

Sarah came back thanking Elena for salvaging her from such a mess. Elena didn't utter any word as she went back to class.

Many students became afraid of Elena no one dares to challenge her. Even with her beauty, she still has no interest in a relationship, her heart became stone to love.

A few minutes later the bell jingles it was 1 p.m, the student was feeling excited as they prepared to journey back home.
