Chapter 4 Four

... At the restaurant...

"This lady has just been giving short answers to all my questions. She seems to even be trying to limit it to just yes and no." Alberto thinks to himself.

"Desert?" Alberto asks Matilda.

"What's a desert now?" Matilda wonders in her mind.

"No I'm okay with this." Matilda tells him.

"No? Come one babe. Don't be shy. No one says no to desert. It's actually what people eagerly wait for." Alberto says.

"Okay, I'll have some." Matilda replies to Alberto.

"Great." Alberto says.

He signals a waiter and the waiter, assisted by another waiter, brings the desert to their table.

"This is my favourite desert. Pudding." Alberto says to Matilda. "Eat up." Alberto adds.

They both eat.

After everything it came the time for them to leave. It's almost two o'clock already and they've been in the restaurant since morning.

Alberto pays for everything and Matilda leaves the restaurant by his side.

Dimitri spots them coming and opens the door to the car for each of them to get in.

"So, how was it?" Alberto asks Matilda as Dimitri drives, heading for Matilda's house first.

"It was wonderful. I enjoyed spending time with you." Matilda says in response.

"I'm happy to see you happy." Alberto says.

"Maybe we can head out some other time as well. What do you think?" Alberto asks.

"That would be most delightful." She answers him.

Matilda is a witch with very good skills when it comes to trickery. She can deceive anyone into thinking about her character the way she wants them to see it.

The green snake in the green grass, that's what she is. Nothing else but a heartless, cruel, and merciless hypocrite.

They arrive at Matilda's house and Dimitri parks the car and opens the door for each of them after coming out.

"I hope to see you again soon." Alberto says and takes Matilda's right hand in his, giving it a light peck.

Matilda blushes and takes her hand away shyly.

"I hope to see you again too Alberto." She says and he smiles at her then returns back into his car. Dimitri shuts the door for Alberto and takes his place at the drivers seat and starts driving off while Alberto and Matilda waves each other goodbye till he is out of sight.

"Finally! Freedom! I had no idea that this stupid meeting of ours would take this long." Matilda says in relief.

She walks towards her house as she murmurs a chant to break the spell she put on it before she had left.

She steps in and closes the door behind her then starts to walk up the stares as she heads towards her room.

Matilda stops in her tracks as she senses something in the atmosphere.

She deeply inhales as her nostrils widens more than that of a normal human being.

She stops and her eyeballs looks creepily left and right.

"Human." She says in a voice that sounded like an old lady's.

She moves to her room door and opens it only to find three men in masks lying helplessly on the floor as an entire bed crushes them with its wait.

The men had dried up tears all over their faces and appears exhausted and scared.

They haven't seen her yet, so when she started clapping her hands all of a sudden they jolted.

She walks closer to where they lay and looked down at them.

"Well well well. Fancy meeting you three here." She says.

She uses her powers to remove the bed and the three men had a tough time getting up.

Once they gained a tiny bit of energy they push Matilda aside and try to run out of her house but once they pushed her aside her eyes glow with a green colour and all three of the men are no longer having their feet on the ground.

They freak out and start throwing questions at each other.

"What's going on?! What sort of magic is this?!" The first spy exclaims.

"How is this happening to us?!" The second spy questions.

"I don't know and I don't care! This place is cursed and I just want nothing more but to get out of it!" The third says.

"When you three are done talking then you can concentrate on the one who put you in this condition." Matilda says.

"What are you?! I know it's you doing this. Put me down!" The first spy says while the other two show clearly how scared they are.

"Please just put us down." The second spy begs desperately.

"I swear I won't tell anyone. They won't tell anyone but please don't kill us, whatever you are. Please." The third spy begs as well.

"What were you three doing in my house?!" Matilda yells as her voice resounds in the entire house.

"The billionaire... The billionaire sent us here..." The second spy stammers.

"Shut up you! You dare to betray the boss?!" The first spy says to the second one.

"I'm not afraid of a woman and can never be. They are nothing but weaklings. All this is nothing more than just a magic trick she learns and probably does for a living" The first spy says to both the second and third spy.

"Put us down this instant!" He yells.

"I see you have guts. Our dare to raise your voice at me?!" Matilda yells and stretches her left hand at him while she moves her fingers as if crushing something.

The first spy begins to shrink in size and slowly turning green and by the time she was done what the other two could see there was his clothes.

Then something moves on it and they watched as a frog hops out.

The other two spy start to panicked and beg the more.

"Please! Please don't harm us! Spare us we beg of you!" They beg and beg but it all fell on deaf ears.

Matilda stretches her had towards another man, the third spy, and turns him into a frog as well.

This puts the second spy in even more fright. He stares at her in complete fear and unable to speak a word.

Matilda is about to do same to him but then recalls that he had said that the billionaire sent them.

She stops herself from causing harm to him even when she really wants to.

"You are lucky you are of use to me." She says to him.

He just stares at her continuously.

The frogs start to croak loudly which cause her to get even more annoyed. She waves her left hand from right to left at where the frogs and they both burst.

The second spy gulps and thinks to himself. "This is surely the end of me.
