Chapter 1 Happy birthday Paisley

"Welcome children and parents to career day. Welcome once again to 'POINT OF GRACE HOSPITAL ' where your kids would be encouraged to take their chosen profession in the medical field" Doctor Phelan the doctor in charge of touring the 6th grade students of 'PARJART SCHOOL'

"Kids, how excited are you?" Doc. Phelan squatted to ask the kids.

"Soooo excited yaay" The kids screamed in happiness, some ended up jumping up and down in excitement.

"Now parents it's time to bring your child out and let her tell everyone the reason for choosing this career " Doc. Phelan said.

Parents started bringing out their kids one after the other.

"Now listen me very carefully Paisley" Mrs Emily Rooks squatted as little Paisley turned to her "I trust the reason why you want to be a medical doctor so go out there and make me proud and dont talk about the white lab coat okay?".

"Okay Mama bear" Paisley said to her mother as Mr Jerry Rooks her father took her to the podium.

Paisley took a deep breath as Doctor Phelan smiled at her.

"My name is Paisley Rooks and I want to be a medical doctor because.....because" her eyes trailed around the hospital as she saw nurses and doctors go up and down "Because of the White Lab coat, damn it is so white" she said and Mrs Emily placed her hand on her head as she rubbed her big pregnant belly.

"Really Paisley? you love the white lab coat" Doctor Phelan asked as everyone burst into laughter.

"Doc. I love how white it is. Dad come carry me down from this podium I dont know what to say" Paisley and Mr Jerry did just that.

"You talked about the lab coat!" Mrs Emily said with a frowned face as they continued the tour.

***18 YEARS LATER ***

"Rise and shine sweet heart" a female mom like voice said and Paisley's rubbed her eyes sleepily.

"Why do I have to wake up anyways?" Paisley mumbled sleepily.

"So we wont assume you're dead sweetheart" Mrs Emily replied.

"Dont mind your mother, you know how Sarcastic she can be and happy birthday girly bear!!" Mr Jerry said and Paisley's eyes flashed open.As she saw a gigantic cake in front of her.

"Oh my God! why did I totally forget about my birthday?" Paisley groaned.

"Because you're a dumb head" 11 year old Jack said as he popped out his head from behind his mother.

"Oh I forgot I have a brother" Paisley said.

"Is that all you got?" Jack whispered.

"Can you guys not fight on Paisley's birthday please?" Mrs Emily said looking at her two kids glaring daggers at each other.

"Make a wish girly bear" Mr Jerry said to Paisley as she looked at the cake.

Paisley closed her eyes, she didnt know what to wish for. She could wish to go to the medical school of her dream or she could wish for bestfriend Sandy to forgive her for insulting her prom dress or she could wish for her to finally find a true boyfriend who doesn't want to only use her or she could wish for answers concerning why she saw a girl who looks just like her and was lar

ge on the internet or she could just wish to be smart.

"I wish to..............." She wanted to say and Jack interrupted her

"You don't say your wish out loud stupid. Keep your wish to your self" Jack said loudly and Mrs Emily tapped his head.

"You know what? My second wish is for you to watch 'Toilet bowl roots' all day" Paisley said knowing how he hated the show with Passion.

"Wish granted now get up young man lets head to the sitting room" Mrs Emily said dragging Jack to his doom.

"Paisley! Help me!!!" Jack shouted as he was being dragged out of the room into his death which by the way is the worst show of the Rooks family.

"Now get up and get ready for school and meet me in the car in 35 minutes" Mr Jerry said and left the room.

"Sleeping for more 20 minutes won't hurt" Paisley made to lay down back on the bed before.........

"Dont even think about sleeping for more 20 minutes!!!!" Mr Jerry yelled from outside the room.

"Shit" Paisley whispered and started getting ready for school.

"Sandy you cant be mad at me on my birthday"

You know that right? Paisley said as her and Sandy walked home from school.

"As much as I want to be angry, I can't be angry at my bestfriend that long" Sandy said and hugged Paisley "Happy birthday bestie"

"Thanks Sandy but never wear that dress to prom again" Paisley said.

"Paisley!!!!!" Sandy started chasing Paisley.

Paisley got home with Sandy still pursuing her, she raced to the front door and burst the door open wide.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY PAISLEY!!!!" her family and few of her classmates chorused loudly.

Her house was decorated with beautiful decors. The lights, the gifts, everything marveled Paisley as she stood in shock.

"My present to you Paisley as your father is this" Mr Jerry handed his daughter a parcel.

She tore it open and open the envelope and it read.

"TO MISS PAISLEY ROOKS, YOU HAVE BEEN GIVEN ADMISSION TO STUDY MEDICINE IN POINT OF GRACE MEDICAL SCHOOL"

"Shitttttttttttttt" Paisley said in shock.
