Chapter 2 He did it again

"Are you a bird or something? Wow," I mouthed and creased my brows.

"You killed her right?"

"Who?"

"Stop acting all innocent Mr gardener!" I snorted and he smiled, then it turned to a chuckle.

"Why are you chuckling or are you really the murderer?"

Sarah just glared at the man with her hands akimbo, investigating him like she was the police.

Sarah's POV:

"What if I am really the one?"

She moved to the back and he came forward.

"Your friends are coming," he said and I turned around to see Jessica and Merrick coming towards me.

"Sarah, what are you doing over there?" Merrick asked and I turned around only to see the bush behind me. Where the heck is he? The man, the man I was talking to...

"Sarah?" Jessie called.

I walked up to them.

"What's up with you and why were you walking around the alley, behind the bush?"

"You didn't.... Never mind, I just wanted some fresh air. You know...from the suffocating hell you call a club,"

"Sarah, guess what?"

"What?"

"I said guess,"

"Guessing isn't part of my thing Merrick,"

"I got double pay,"

"Yayy!! Wow, that's so great,"

"And that calls for a celebration!" Jessica said and we all both cheered.

I saw myself beside the ocean and then looked around.

I walked around in anxiety, though the calm environment made the calm sea more attractive and mediating my soul.

The marble stone made the sea look like it was made of glitter,

I stopped walking when I saw a reflection.

Is that me or another beautiful girl.

I looked at my body, I was wearing normal cloths. But ..who is that pretty girl??

I quietly walked away and looked around only to see a kingdom way ahead of me.

A heard a gallop and turned around.

A pure white horse coming towards me with speed, then I realized someone was riding it.

I looked closer and saw him. Him?!!!

I woke up off my sweet-bitter dream. Him?!!! That gardener?? Why was I seeing him??

That dream was so magical, more like I was in paradise.

But that handsome, hot and deadly man appeared in the dream like a predator. Geez!!

I swinged around and touched a hard stuff. It was more like someone's leg.

I looked at my side and saw Merrick and Jessica sleeping beside me.

"Merrick!!! Jessica!!!!" I shouted at the top of my voice and the two of them sprang up.

"What...what...what..." Merrick blabbed and I hit his head.

"Ow! Mummy, stop that!!" He blabbed and I hit him again.

"Mummy!!" He complained again.

"Stop saying nonsense Merrick and get off my bed!!!" I shouted at him and pushed him off with a kick.

He landed on Jessica and I groaned.

"Goodbye guys," I saw them off and Merrick turned around.

"Let me give you a hug before leaving,"

"No hugs Merrick. Just leave and stop giving a hard time,"

"I love you Sarah."

"Same here," Jessica muttered and I pushed them away.

I went back into my house and tried getting a flashback.

What happened yesterday night?

"That was the best club ever," Merrick said and I giggled.

"Yeah it was." Jessica also commented and walked up to Merrick.

"Baby, give me a kiss already,"

"Yeah Merrick, give your baby a kiss on the lips,"

"Nooo... I like Sarah,"

"Don't.... don't... don't like me Merrick."

"But I wanna like you,"

"Just kiss me already," Jessica complained and Merrick pulled her to himself. He kissed her slightly and I cheered. They both unlocked and laughed.

"I am not satisfied Merrick. Just f*nger me,"

"Okay, I will."

"Nooo...no...that thing is Gross!!" I complained and they both laughed.

I pushed them apart from each other and Jessica started crying uncontrollably.

"Okay, okay, do whatever you wanna do, o..o.. okay?"

"Okay"

Jessica lie down and Merrick started fingering her.

"Eww, gross that's gross Merrick,"

"No...no... it's not. I have done it a lot of times with Karen,"

I pushed him away and he fell down. I looked at Jessica, she already dozed off.

He stood up again and walked towards the bed.

'presently'

"Oh no. I can't believe drinking could be so bad,"

I walked to bathroom and washed up before heading out.

I stared at my wristwatch and suddenly a car zoomed....

"What the heck!"

I looked at the driver, then realized it was a taxi.

"Hey, are you perhaps blind?"

"Wanna go somewhere pretty?"

"What?" I scoffed and ran my fingers into my hair.

"You wanted to kill me with your darn taxi and you are here asking if I wanna go anywhere. How stupid are you??" I snorted

He smiled and licked his lips.

His eyes was red in colour, the way he was doing looks more like he was drowned in his insanity. It looks like he is drunk.

"Are you drunk?"

"No I am not. I am drunk in your beauty, beautiful," he said with laughter and I angrily stared at him

He smirked and I suddenly saw him choking. Is he okay??

He spit out blood and I moved aback. What the heck!!

I looked around, maybe the cops might come around, fortunately, I saw one of the cop. A lady cop perhaps.

"Police!!!" I shouted and she looked at me.

"What's the problem young lady,"

"A man is choking over here and blood running out of his mouth,"

"Then call the ambulance, I am not a doctor. I am a cop," she replied

"I know you are a cop, you are to see it yourself,"

"Okay"

She walked towards the taxi and also looked at the taxi driver. Is he okay??

"Why is he spitting out blood?"

"I don't know. He almost hit me, I think he was drunk in his madness. Then suddenly he began to spit out blood," I explained and she tried opening the door.

I looked at him and something unfortunate happened. His chest was opened widely, no heart in it.

I screamed and and the cop looked at me.

"What's with the screams?"

"This heart....his heart....is no more there,"

"Wait, what!!!!"

I took my face away.

"Call the ambulance!!!"

She started taking pictures of the dead man and. I quickly dialed the emergency number.

This is exactly the same thing that happened to Karen. What the hell.

I looked away and saw someone familiar. Wait a second!! Mr gardener!!!

His hands were dripping wet blood. His clothes were pure white, no stains on it. What the hell!!!

"Cop, over there!!!"

"What?!!"

"That guy, he killed the driver,"

"Who?"

"That gardener!!"

He walked away and I looked at the cop who was darn confused.

I ran after him.

"Hey, where are you going to??!" The lady cop asked me and I ignored her.

I ran as my legs could take me. He was as fast as a wind.

"Hey!!!"

I called and he suddenly stopped.

"You... you...!" I said and breathe loudly.

"How can you walk like that? What are you...and...

I looked at his hands, no sign of blood.

"How can people not see you? Why did you kill the taxi driver?"

"You again?"

"Why did you kill the taxi driver?" I asked again and he scoffed"

"How can you see me?"

"What are you, a superhuman?" I asked pointing my fingers at him.

"Sarah!!"

"Sarah?!!!" I heard Jessica and Merrick's voices.

I saw them coming towards me and she ran to me.

Mr gardener was still there staring at me with a smirk on his lips.

"Why did you run off like that?"

"This man...this...this man!!" I pointed to Mr gardener and they looked at me weirdly.

"Who?"

"Stop it guys, Jessie, you know him. That suspicious gardener,"

"Yeah, but there's no gardener over there,"

He was smiling widely and I looked at my two best friends. What the...

"Sarah, are you drunk?" Merrick asked and I ran my fingers through my hair.

This is crazy.

"I ain't going insane," I convinced myself.

"Guys,. please stop kidding around. I am not a fan of that, he is right there,"

"What?" Merrick mouthed
