Zach could feel him grin and stiffled the urge to scream into the phone. "And if I don't?" He asked instead.
"Your daughter is at stake boss. Remember the one thousand and one ways to torture a woman?" He questioned
Zach couldn't take it anymore. He smashed the phone angrily and growled. Jaden had been there the whole time watching and listening....
"What will you do?" Jaden asked. Beads of perspiration were forming on his head despite the cool condition of the room.
"We have to think fast!" Zach replied after what seemed like seconds
"Very fast" he added

It'd been days she had been abducted and there was still no word from anyone. Not even her father. But the good news was that she was no longer spread-eagled on the bed. Her hands and feet had been untied. As the paced to and fro the room, she felt the urgency to do something intriguing like escaping. She wouldn't wait here and allow some men dictate her life. She needed to be free, free from the troubles these crazy men created in her family.
She stared at the door closely and wondered if she could pick the lock. Jaden had taught her how to pick locks when she was just ten. She bit back the tears that were threatening to fall as she remembered her brother.
One thing she knew for sure was that she needed to be brave. She glanced through the room, trying to look for the perfect object to pick the lock but found none. She had almost given up when she remembered something..... "The necklace" which has MIA boldly inscribed on it ... She quickly took it off and examined it closely. She almost screamed when she saw it.
"Oh dad!" She whined ... The I in the MIA on her necklace was a skeleton key covered with bits of diamonds.
Quickly, she proceeded to the door and hoped she wouldn't meet meet anyone at the entrance or better still, meet people she could take down with her bare hands.
As she Inserted the key, she could feel her whole body go numb when the door didn't open. "Try harder Mia, you've done this before" her subconscious mind encouraged. She Inserted it again, this time around, more carefully and.... "Click!" She'd done it.
She quickly hid the necklace in her back pocket and gently, she opened the door trying as much as possible not to be noticed. As she made it out of the room, she could feel her heart gladden but she knew it was just a temporary victory as she must not be caught. She tiptoed towards what seems like a back entrance. Her heart leaped in fear when she saw a group of boys training.
"Not that way Mia" she whispered to herself and went back the way she came from. Silently, she passed through the hallway hoping she wouldn't be seen by any of the men. Suddenly, she felt her body come In contact with something... No someone, a hard body, she'd dreaded this moment so much but she knew she had to fight her way out. With the look on his face, she could see that he'd underestimated her. Exactly what she needed to strike. With little or no time to think, she raised her fisted hands up into the air and then onto his nose, hoping to break it. But she was wrong. He was more stronger than she thought.
He reached for her, yanking her hair vigorously. For a moment she thought he was going to pull them out from the roots. Her hands kept flaying in the hair as he cursed. She knew she had to do something quickly before others would come in. Somehow she managed to grab the knife on his waist band and stabbed him just below the lower region. The action had been unexpected.
"That's... just... the.. tip... of... the iceberg" she stated as he gasped and fell off her with a sickening thud. She proceeded down the stairs and that was when It dawned on her that some boys were out there waiting for her.
If this was what she needed to do to break free from these crazy men, she was going to do it to get her freedom. "You can do this Mia" she encouraged herself. With a speed of a lightening, she dashed towards one of them and gave him a kick with all her might. She was surprised at how he fell so easily. On seeing this, the others came rushing, all at once. But with the aid of the knife, she was able to put them out of commission. By the time she was done, she was panting heavily.she had done it. Hadn't she?
Mia could feel the muscles in her leg cramp but wasn't bothered. All that mattered that moment was her freedom.
"Not one more step!" Mia could feel her body go numb when she heard the cold voice, followed by corking of guns. She had been so stupid to have thought of escaping easily.

"Boss, the girl has escaped from her room!" Kelvin stated, his voice alarming. "What?" Supreme asked in rage. "Rewind the tape now!!!!" He commanded. Kelvin quickly did as he was told. Then he saw her pacing to and fro the room. Then she unhooked her necklace. Both men marveled at how she picked the lock with the skeleton key.
"That brat!" Supreme snarled. Daughter of an ex assassin. He'd almost made a big mistake by underestimating her. He pressed the button of the intercom on his table. Trying as much as possible not to scream, "All men at alert!! Surround the building at once! Victim about to escape, she must not escape... I repeat... SHE MUST NOT ESCAPE!!" He felt his body relax when he saw his men going out in two's and three's.
And what the hell is she trying to do???
