Chapter 7 Missing

"Of course not. I'm not trying to seduce you .. i'm just to fix what l did wrong "she stated, pulling off his shirt.

"Oh jeez "she whispered as she stared at the spot. Her claws were still very visible .. it was like a dog bit him or something.

"I'm so sorry, Zack. I can't believe l bit you this deep .. l'm so sorry "she apologized, vehemently.

"I know, right?. It hurts so bad "Zack winced, feigning pain.

"I'm sorry "she whined and touched the spot. Zack moved away a little.

"Ouch! It hurts! "He said and Amy kept her hand to herself.

"What do l do now? I don't have any idea about this .. oh goodness? I shouldn't have started this if l knew l couldn't end it "she whispered but Zack heard, anyway.

"Help me wash .. that's what you should do "Zack moved close to her and whispered.

"Move! "She yelled and nugded him. Zack laughed.

"Zack, were you really serious about what you said yesterday? "Amy asked, lowly and he sighed.

"Of course not. I couldn't figure out what else to say .. "He was answering and Amy frowned.

Without uttering a word, Amy stood up and began walking away.

"Amy? Amy, why are you leaving? "Zack asked as he stood up and trailed behind her.

"I'm leaving cos l can't stand you. You were joking, right? I'm leaving "She responded, angrily still walking.

"But .. "

"I don't want to hear it, Zack. Keep your excuse to yourself .. don't follow me "She retorted and Zack stopped.

"Do you even your way around here? "He yelled and she rolled her eyes.

"I don't need your help to find my way around here. I can do it myself "She missed and walked away.

"Why did she flare up? I wasn't serious when l said l pretended to care for her because she was carrying my child .. "

Just then, Layla stepped out of her room and met Zack in the hallway. He was shirtless. Her cheeks heat up as she stared at him.

"And what are you staring at? "Zack asked with raised brows.

"Well .. l .. umm "she stammered.

"Just shut up! It's useless speaking to you "Zack retorted and she scoffed.

"I'm not useless! "She rasped and crossed her arms.

"Maybe your two other b*itches are! "She added with a smirk.

"Are you mad, Layla? How dare you insult Amy and Kira? They are way more better than you, you know "He stated with a smug smile.

"You..! "She clenched her fists, pointing at him. "So Amy is your new babymama, huh? "She asked and he rolled his eyes.

He turned to walk away.

"Are you even sure the baby she's carrying is yours? She looks like a slut to me "She stated, dramatically looking at her nails.

Zack chuckled.

He turned. "Well, she's not a slut like you are. I defiled her so she's carrying my baby, get it now? "He responded and her eyes widened.

He defiled her?

"You know what? How am l even sure you are carrying my baby? It might be someone else's, you know " Zack bickered, walking close to her.

"Me?? Of course not "She snickered, moving backwards.

"Hmm "With that, Zack turned away and walked away. Layla scowled and walked back into her room, slamming the door shut.

Amy sat on the couch in the living room and sighed, ruefully.

"Zack is playing with my emotions. I overheard him discussing with someone last night about his feelings and l thought his feelings were genuine but l was wrong. I can still hardly believe l got pregnant for a man that l don't love and he doesn't love me either. Abortion isn't the solution because l want to keep this baby .. my baby. I need to be strong for her but her Dad doesn't love her "She thought and rubbed her tummy.

Then, her eyes moved to her doorway and stood up and walked away.

Queen Tatiana paced up and down the throne room.

"You said they left yesterday, huh? "She askedand Helga nodded.

"I tried to stop him but he didn't listen to me "Helga complained and she sighed, ruefully.

"You could have informed me and l would have stopped him. Zack is careless, he can't take care of her the way we would "she complained.

"Now, what's going on? "The King asked.

"Well, it's your son again. He took Amy out yesterday and they haven't returned! "She bickered and he rolled his eyes.

"Leave us, Helga "He stated and Helga bowed, slightly before walking away.

"Have you forgotten that your son owns a house? He must have taken her there. You are full of surprises, Tatiana "

"But he could have informed us before leaving. He knows we'll be worried since Amy hasn't recovered fully yet but as usual, he had to act stubborn "She retorted, annoyed and crossed her arms.

"I'm so famished. Please do instruct the maids to serve me lunch .. i have a meeting to attend to in a few minutes "

Zack walked down the stairs, buttoning down his sleeves while looking around. Layla and Kira were having breakfast at the dinning table.

"Has anyone seen Amy around? I've been looking all over for her "He asked as he got closer to the dinning area.

"Not me. I haven't seen her since last night "Kira replied. Layla didn't answer as she continued eating.

"Layla, am speaking to you or have you gone deaf?! "Zack yelled.

"No, okay?! "Layla yelled, back.

"That means Amy is missing "he whispered and looked at Layla. "If l find out you had anything to do with this, you're gonna regret it, Layla. Trust me, it won't be funny "he grouched with clenched fists.

"And you have to trust me that l didn't do anything "she rasped and Zack sighed.

Zack turned away and began hurrying out.

"Zack, can l come with you? "Kira yelled from behind him.

"You don't need to. I'll be back before you know it "He responded as he exited the living room.

Kira sighed, despondently. Layla rolled her eyes.

"Layla, did you do anything? "Kira asked with arched brows.

"Stop asking me questions like l'm some sort of a criminal or something. I didn't do anything, l never asked her to run away ... "Layla answered and her eyes widened as her voice trailed off.

"Run away? She ran away? "Kira asked with widened eyes, flabbergasted.

"You know what? Leave me alone "Layla stated and hit the table before leaving.

"Why would she run away? Zack loves her more than any of them "Kira thought.

I need to inform Zack right now.

Layla sat on bed with her arms akimbo and her legs crossed. She sighed, restlessly and stood up.

She began pacing round the room.

"Zack shouldn't find her .. l don't want her back in this house, not when Zack is so obsessed with her "She thought.

"But she's kind of foolish for running away thought "Layla smiled.

FLASHBACK

Layla was walking towards the stairs when she noticed Amy in the living room. She scowled and moved back.

Then, Amy stood up and looked around then began walking towards the door.

"What is she doing? "Layla mumbled with arched brows as Amy was acting really sneaky.

She took another look around the room and moved out, finally but shutting the door slowly behind her.

Layla smirked and walked back to her room.

END OF FLASHBACK

"I was really happy that she ran away. I just hope they don't find her anytime soon. Including Kira, she should run away as well. I want them all gone so l can have Zack all to myself" Layla thought and smiled, feeling at ease.

She slumped on the bed with wide arms and Alex crossed her mind. She needs to see him.

Zack ran into the palace, breathing heavily. Zack looked around but there was no one in the room.

"Amy! Amy! "He yelled out and his Mom walked out from the one of the entrances.

"What is the problem, Zack? Why are you yelling Amy's name? I thought she was with you "Queen Tatiana said, with her hands on her waist.

"Yes, she was with me yesterday. We went out and returned home, we had an argument and she walked out on me angrily and now, l looked all over the house but l couldn't find her. I thought she came here "Zack explained with a cracked voice.

"Oh jeez! You brainless rat .. What could possibly be the reson for your argument this morning? She's pregnant .. have you forgotten? Oh goodness .. we need to inform the police. Amy doesn't know anywhere, she's been within the palace gates for years "His Mom stressed with her hands on her forehead.

"Where is Dad? "He asked.

"He went out for a meeting. Go to the station and forget about ur Dad! "

Zack ran out, immediately.

"Zack! Wait for me, l want to come with you "Queen Tatiana yelled from behind him but he ignored.

Zack entered the car and drove off to the police station. His mind was clouded by different thoughts. He was so worried about Amy and the child.

He shouldn't have let her walk out on him but he never thought she would leave the house. Now, she left and the worst part of it is that she doesn't know anywhere and nd roads are quite busy these days, how can she manage?

"I hope nothing happens to Amy and the baby. I just hope they are safe whenever they are "he said, silently, still heading for the station.

"Boss, the meeting is going to commence in five minutes. You have to return to the company "Nate's personal assistant said as he stared at his watch.

"I told you to cancel all the meetings for today. I have to go to the hospital with Emily "Nate stressed and palmed his head.

"Emily would be so angry "he mumbled.

"Boss, l can cancel the meeting if you want to but our company is going to suffer a lot of crisis "

"Lan, stop turning back. You are going to hit ... OMG! Lan, stop the car right now. You are about to hit someone! "Nate yelled, alarmed and Lan turned away.

"Sh*t! "He yelled but before he could stop the car, Amy got hit by the car and fell down, unconscious.
