Chapter 5 Say What Now

Momo.......

Mina and I sat down in the bus together, she kept cracking jokes which I laughed to, we haven't spent time with with each other in a long time.

I sighted Alya glaring at me from the other end of the boss but I cared less, we got down together and she waved Alya goodbye.

We got to the door to meet it locked, mama must have been held back by traffic or something.

We sighted her coming in a taxi which was super weird because she had left with her car.

"Where is your car?" Mina asked her as she ran to her panting heavily, she stopped to catch her breath and looked at the spot where she usually parked her car.

"Oh shoot, I can't believe I forgot the car there" mama cussed "mama, language" I cautioned covering my ears.

We all laughed it off and mama opened the door and we walked in.

"What would you like me to prepare?" She asked and we both smiled before yelling " Pancakes".

"Can we have something else? Please" mama asked a cute pout.

" Sure, how about some macaroons?" Mina asked and I nodded in agreement.

"Ok, I have it ready in about thirty minutes time" mama assured and left for the kitchen.

Mama walked into the kitchen while I and Mina went to our separate rooms to change.

I got slipped out of my uniform and wore a pink top and a pair if brown shorts like the one Dora the explorer wears.

I walked out of my room to see Mina also walking out hers.

She was dressed in a red top and black leggings. She looked really beautiful and I felt inferior to her.

She smiled at me and held my hand leading me downstairs for lunch.

Mina......

I smiled on seeing Momo walking out of her room dressed like Dora the explorer.

She looked really cute and it suited her.

I held her hand as we walked side by side to the dinning room.

We got there to see that mama was still cooking, she smiled at us and told us to be patient as it was going to be ready soon.

We sat at the dining table and talked about different things that happened to us at school.

I told her about Travis's party and she cringed in disgust on hearing his name.

"That jerk? Are you attending?" She asked " no, he didn't invite me and even if he did I still wouldn't attend" I replied and she smiled.

" Yeah, who needs that idiot's party anyway? We can have a sleepover together instead" she said and I smiled.

" That's a good idea, we'll stay up all night watching movies and talking about boys not jerks because jerks are gross" I said and we laughed.

Mum pepped her head out of the kitchen and gave us a warning glare.

"Both boys and jerks should be gross for kids your age" she said and went back into the kitchen.

"Kill joy" Momo muttered and we burst into another round of laughter.

Mum soon came carrying two plates of macaroons in both hands.

She served us and we immediately dug in, we ate hungrily and mum kept telling us to slow down or we'll choke.

After we were done eating, we both watched Dora the Explorer and I just stared at it weirdly.

I almost smashed the TV when she asked us if we saw a scissors that was just behind her.

After many failed attempts, I finally convinced Momo to change the channel to a modelling show.

Teddy......

I drove home after eating Hana delicious food, I parked my car and walked into the house happily.

I almost screamed when I opened the door to see Lee sitting on my couch.

"What the hell man! You scared the living daylight out of me!" I yelled and threw a cushion at him.

"Where were you? Are you dating your PA?" He asked and I smacked the back of his head.

" Are you sick in the head or something?" I asked while he massaged the back of his head.

"Why would I date her? Yunno I'm engaged" I said and walked to the kitchen to grab a cup.

I walked to the fridge and took a cold bottle of water, I poured a small quantity of the water in the cup and took a sip.

"Ok, then do you love her?" He asked suspiciously. " What the fuck is wrong with you?!" I snapped and returned the bottle of water back into the fridge.

" As much as I want to believe that you're not in a relationship with her, I can't ignore the fact that you defended her in the presence of everyone. That's not something you do for everyone, in fact that's not something you do at all" he said with a serious look.

I turned to look at him and opened my mouth to say something but shut it back.

It was true, I've had feelings for her ever since she came to work with me but I know that I can only dream of being with her.

"She has kids" I simply said and turned back heading upstairs.

"So you do love her, I can't believe this. You're are actually in love" he muttered.

" I'd ignore her if u were you, it's for the best" he said.

Hana.........

Next day.......

I did my usual morning routine and took a bus to work since my car was still at the agency.

I alighted the bus when it got the agency and nervously walked in.

Rumors about what happened yesterday had spread like wild fire and people kept pointing at me and murmuring.

I kept my head low as I walked to my small office, that was the only place I can be safe right now.

I was Soo close to my office when Sir Fei's voice boomed from behind me.

"Hana, report to my office now!" He yelled and I gulped hard before turning to meet his glaring eyes.

I gave him an akward smile which he returned with a sour frown.

I walked slowly to meet him counting each step I took.

He walked into the office leaving the door wide open, I walked through the open door to meet Sir Fei waiting there.

A woman I recognized as Teddy's mother was also there.

She looked at me with hope and happiness in her eyes.

"Is she the one?" She asked and Sir Fei nodded with a smile.

"Thank you" she said hugging me,"he has finally found love in you" she whispered softly into my ear while I stood there staring like a lost puppy.

She disengaged from the hug and cupped my face in her hands.

"What are you talking about ma'am?" I asked staring at her like she was crazy but she just flashed me a smile and picked up her hand bag before leaving.

What was that all about? I gave Sir Fei a questioning look which he understood.

"I know that what I'm about to say may sound crazy but I assure you that it's totally true. Teddy is in love with you" he said and my mouth flung open.
