Chapter 5 Never will I give him face

Next Morning

Roxanne's sleep was put to an end as she was disturbed by a siren

" oh goodness, don't tell me it's my alarm cos they sound so alike" She muttered rubbing her eyes sleepily.

She stretched forth her hands to the lamp stand and pushed down the alarm.

Roxie sat up, wore her flip flop and proceeded to the bathroom. Her eyes were still drowsy and she fell forward turning on the shower.

Her eyes cleared instantly as she felt cold water on her and quickly she searched for the switch and turned it off.

She spent about 45 minutes in the shower before she was done.

"Are you giving birth in there, Roxie" she heard Mia yell.

"what a typical Good morning from a sweet sister" Roxie yelled back, not forgetting to add: "Good morning to you too"

"Whatever, have you choosen a dress to wear to school"

"No" Roxie replied and dried her body with towel, before wrapping it around herself and stepped out.

She walked out to see Mia rummaging through her closet.

"Hey, what are you doing?" Roxie asked as she stared at Mia unbelievably when she saw her bring out an undie.

"Hey, that's embarrassing" Roxie said and snatched it away from her.

" I want us to look like savengers to school today" she said and grinned.

"There's no word like savengers" Roxanne said and rolled her eyes. She took the inner wears Mia brought out and headed towards the bathroom.

"Savage, savagengers yunno I'm trying to add a little groove to the word" she yelled after Roxie shut the bathroom door to dress up.

"Oh Mia, you could have just said savagers instead of savengers, i mean which do you think makes more sense?"

"Well...all I know is I just manufactured a word, who knows its a calling for me to write my own edition of a dictionary".

Roxie scoffed and came out.

"Thanks for the dress, its actually a nice combination, red and black" she said admiring the black crop top and red trousers sprawled on the bed.

"Its not too late to make me your fashionista, yunno" she said grinning.

"Yeah whatever, you've gotta go now I need to dress up" Roxie said and pushed her out.

"Phew" she said and wiped an imaginary sweat, 'that girl is a pain in the ass'

"I can't believe I'm going back to school, not as the Roxanne they know but as thr Roxanne they don't know

"High school here I come!!!

Seated in the school cafeteria is James and Jason.

While eating, Jason lamented: "I 1can't believe Roxanne is coming back? I thought she was expelled?"

James' ears stood up when he heard expell.

"What happened?"

"I heard the students conspired and reported her to the school authorities and wished for her expulsion. But guess what ? They disagreed and only suspended her for two weeks." Jason narrated in distress. Just like James, the sight of Roxanne irritated him.

''Oh I see, I guess I'm gonna continue having fun then'' James said and hated the fact his heart ached a little.

Not long after a call entered his phone from his manager and he hesitated before answering.

"Hello"

"You need to come to the industry immediately, there's a board meeting going on because Jude and James wants to breach the contract" he said and James quickly stood on his feet.

"OK, we'll be right there" he said disconnecting the call.

He hastely walked out and was halted By Jason's voice.

"Where are you going to James?" Jason yelled after him.

"The industry, you are needed there too" He yelled back, got to his car and drove out.

Leslie walked out of her room to the dinning table to see Roxie and Mia on each others throat.

Leslie stared at Leslie and sajd: "Remember when I said I won't trade my sister for a billion dollars? I take it back"

She pulled out a seat out and sat down.

After sometime, she couldn't take the bickering any longer, so she slammed her hands on the table and they calmed down a bit.

Leslie thought the quietness was gonna last but it didn't.

"Omg, Ariana Grande got the vibes" Mia said as she scrolled through her phone.

"You mean the weird girl who always dyes her hair pink and is not really tall?" Roxie asked mockingly.

"Are you trying to say Selena Gomaz is better?" Mia asked and Leslie sighed knowing what would follow next.

"Bad decison, sang by Ariana Grande, sucks" Leslie blurted out unconsciously and though she was not looking she could feel Mia's piercing gaze on here.

Roxie chuckled.

"I love her that way and millions of people love her too"Mia said and focused on her food, Roxie was about replying when mom came in.

"What are you guys still doing here?" She shrieked and the trio all quickly pecked her good morning and ran out. Luckily, Leslie was with the car keys this time.

She remembered the last time, Roxie made them pass in between a train, it was terrific.

They quickly hit the road and in less than 30mins they got to school.

Leslie gave a surprised glanced at Mia and Roxie who sat at the back quietly.

'I need to give a testimony ' Leslie exclaimed inwardly.

They quickly got down and everyone's attention turned to us.

"You two should be careful, this kids here, are wolves in sheep covering" Roxie said only to their hearing.

Roxie was no stranger to the school. This students would treat as a queen this moment and the next moment, you would turn to be their sworn enemy as soon as someone greater in power gives the command.

Just like James and Judah, each has their own supporters and are ready to hate whoever they hate.

To Roxanne, it was foolishness. Roxanne sighed as she thought of the many insane things she did back then all because of James.

"Well that was then, I'm never giving him such face again!"
