Chapter 4 Who is he

"will you answer my questions" he asked

"Yes anything" I blurted without thinking ' oh no wat if he asks for my number..... foolish girl' I thought

"Do you believe in immortality" he asked

"Maybe I mean there are so many wierd things in this world that mankind hasn't uncovered yet so it's possible" I said happy he didn't ask a question I can't answer

"If you had a chance would you like to be immortal" he asked ' oh no he has a mental disorder for sure...Mary what did you get yourself into for a cupcake'

"Well no"

"Why"

"Because I'd rather die than watch everyone I love and care for slowly grow old and eventually die that would be painful" I answered sincerely and he sighed

"Close your eyes" he commanded

"Huh?!"

"just do it" he commanded again and I closed my eyes

Then I felt someone hold me from behind and jump but when I finally turned around and opened my eyes I didn't see anyone and I was now out of the ditch

"Oh no I have seen a ghost and he now knows my name" I said scared and ran as fast as I could and entered the hospital

A month past and my wounds magically healed and am even more fresh then I was before

I had to leave the hospital so I called my driver aka flunk guy Ramsey to take me home

I got home and lived my life my normal way, I woke up brushed my teeth, exercised, ate breakfast, took a quick shower and went to work with the flunky Ramsey

I sent Ramsey away after I got home but I still went out to stroll because I felt really bored, then I saw him again the same guy I saw when I had the accident and the same guy that helped me when I was in the ditch,and here he is again standing by the roadside watching me and my heart skipped a beat but I could hear another heartbeat other than mine then I looked at him again while placing my left hand on my chest and saw he was doing the same thing

But then a car passed by and the light blinded me for a split second then when it was gone he also disappeared

'who is this guy' I thought then went back inside only to find John on my couch with his poker face

"What.....what are you doing here" I asked with my hands crossed under my breast

"Look Mary I am sorry but I am here on duty and I am looking at your accident case" he said

John is a policeman that is serious with his work...when he is on duty no one can change mood not even me

"Sigh......so, why did you barge into my house unannounced" I asked and took a seat opposite him and watched as he kept looking at the space I created between us
