Chapter 5 The rumor

it was getting dark and the sky could tell . the cricket made a song to let everyone know that the are out . without hesitation , derick raised his hand as sign of halt and just like that all the moving being halt .

' how's that possible ' I thought . just with a wave of hand all the guards stopped moving . looking around , I found out that the prince comunicated with the general by raising his hand

with a twinkle of an eye , the general came to the king Chariot .

" your highness "

" general Kia we camp here tonight "

" but my lord , this place is not safe , we can reach the border of gormond and camp there " general Kia stated

" we can't move on general Kia . the guards need rest " derick decided .

" we camp here tonight ! " general Kia said with a loud voice .

" you have stay on guard in guiding her bigness "

and like a bird , derick flew into the woods . I had that urge to follow him but why would I when I just barley know him

" here my lady " general Kia said as he handed out a blanket for cover .

with out pressure i collected the blanket from him .

" may I sit with my lady?" general Kia asked

I turned to him in curiousness . I had never seen some one that had such boldness or would I say apart from derick

with what I saw in him, I knew his capacity as a general . a loyal servant indeed .

" of course you can ''

without hesitating , general Kia sat beside me and release a deep breath.

'' you must be tired right? '' I asked

" what more can I say my lady " general Kia answered with a smile .

" you are not afraid , right ?" general Kia asked without looking at me

'' why will I be scared of the woods ?"

" am not talking about the woods , am talking about his Majesty "

" you mean prince derick sorry .......?"

" is okay I know his name as well , he's more friendly than you think''

" you don't know about the rumor right? " general kia asked

" I don't delight much in gossip " I answered knowing myself

" well I guess you need to find out about this one but since it is a rumor I my self don't believe in such " general Kia said as he stood up for the ground .

" will her highness permit to get some food for her?''

" will you have to ask for permission before dying" I asked in a smiling tone

" if it pleases you my lady" general Kia answered as he made his way to the camp.

I had never seen such loyalty.

but something struck my head something so hard that I could not say or think about .

Why would the general tell me to find out about a rumor of a prince
