Chapter 5 WD 5

Jasmine POV

Before mommy left our school, she reminded me that I would be home early.

It's break time so now, I'm walking here in the hall way because I'm looking for Jordan.

But I couldn't find him and why there seemed to be a tremor in my chest that I couldn't understand.

So I looked for him with a sigh somewhere, because I was really nervous because it was different now I feel a lot of running in my mind that is not good.

I ended up looking for Jordan until I came to a vacant lot here on campus where James' group often hangs out.

Even though I was too scared to walk, because there was no one and because I was determined to find Jordan I still walked as I walked.

My feet were almost shaking as I was walking but, I was stopped suddenly when I heard someone laughing very loudly in the nook. So I slowly walked to find where the noise came from.

But I was really surprised by what I witnessed because.

I saw Jordan lying on the ground and bruised it closed.

I don't know what I'm going to do if I'm going to chase them or I'm just going to hide in a tree near me.

It's good that I just thought of hiding because if I start, I have nothing against them.

While I was hiding in a big tree, I felt sorry for Jordan's appearance because he was really beaten up but James and his companions still kicked him.

My mouth is covered because I'm really trying to make a noise because maybe if they catch me that's maybe what they do to me.

When James' group left, I quickly approached Jordan but no matter how much I woke him up, he never woke up.

That's why I can't stop my tears from flowing.

I was crying while shouting for help but because we were in a remote area here on Campus so no students were passing by ...

So even though it was hard for me to lift him, I still lifted him.

When we got to the part of the campus with the students, they made a fuss about us.

I could hardly pass but I was surprised when a man with a facemask lifted him.

That's why I didn't instruct to chase the man in the facemask.

"Mr. Why did you pick him up? Who are you? Where are you taking him?" I shouted as I chased after him.

Then he stopped in front of an expensive car.

And that's where he stopped so I go him.

"Hey you why did you suddenly take him from me do you know I have to take him to the hospital because he had many wounds and bruises on his body ." I yelled angrily.

And when he opened his car he slowly lowered Jordan.

Then he turned to me.

Before he did he took off his facemask.

When I saw his face, it was as if I was in heaven, I was stunned because he was so attractive to look at.

But when he spoke, I suddenly cried because of what he said.

"Miss your saliva is dripping." And then he laughed softly and he put back his facemask.

When I heard what he said, I suddenly wiped my mouth. And I looked at him badly.

"Jordan is my friend. Why did you take him and who are you?" I stated.

"I'm his cousin and I have the right to take him to the hospital." He stated ..

"I don't believe so much to me that he is." And I approached his car and when I picked him up he grabbed my arm so I stopped to get Jordan who was in his car.

I turned around and I stared at him wickedly and shivered that I was really angry.

"I will get him or you don't want me to shout loudly here so the guard can hear us." I said and rolled my eyes at him.

"If you don't want to believe come with me in the hospital." He said with emphasis. And at once he pushed me inside the car.

"Are you stupid?" I told him out loud.

And I just heard him laugh softly before he got in the driver seat.

When we were on the trip, I shouted at him to speed up because Jordan was having a hard time.

As I stared at Jordan and I felt sorry for him he wouldn't have been beaten if I hadn't punched James I hope this isn't happening to Jordan.

When the car stopped, I quickly got off again and so did Mr. Stranger.

It's a good thing the hospital stuff arrived right away.

While Jordan was in the Emergency room I couldn't be bothered.

And half an hour later Jordan's parents arrived.

So I was surprised because they immediately approached Mr. Stranger.

When he hugged Jordan's parents, I believed that he was really Jordan's cousin.

And when Jordan's parents also came to me, they thanked me. And while I was talking to them about what I witnessed when Jordan was beaten, my cell phone suddenly rang.

And when I looked at the screen of my cell phone mommy called.

And I first apologized to the couple to answer mommy's call.

"Hello Jasmine where are you why until now they haven't been here yet." Serene voice she said.

"I'm so-sorry mommy something bad happened to Jordan and I'm here in the hospital now." I stated.

"What happened to him Jasmine." She asks worriedly.

"I'll just tell you mommy when I get home. I'll hung up the phone now mommy and I'm going home now." I bottom lip jutting out while talking.

"Ok honey bye."

"Bye mommy." I said.

I just sighed before I went to the couple again.

And I said to them I need to go home now. And they just hugged me again before I leave.

And since I don't have a car, I texted mommy to fetch me here at the hospital.

I only waited for a few minutes for waiting my brother to pick -up me.

I was quiet while we were on the trip and even my older brother didn't speak, and when we were able to rate the house when the car stopped. I got off immediately.

I entered the house sluggishly and before I went to the dining room I went straight to my room to change my clothes.

As I changed my clothes I could still think of how they had beaten Jordan.

I felt really guilty.

I just sighed before I left my room.

I was in the living room and I heard them laughing in the dinning room ..

I slowly walked to where they were.

When I was close mommy saw me and she called me. And before I could do it again I smiled first and even though I was just forced.

As I got closer and closer I felt a tremor in my chest.

I sat in the empty seat where my soon-to-be husband was sitting.

I didn't even bother to look at him.

"Jasmine, they will be your soon-to-be parents in law." And I turned to stare at daddy while he was talking.

"Mrs. Johnson's." And at the same time he pointed to the couple on the right and I looked at them and because they were smiling sweetly I smiled too.

"Hello aunt and uncle." I said with a smile.

"No Jasmine just call me mommy and call my husband daddy." Mrs. Johnson said.

And I just smiled then I followed what he said.

I was going to get something to eat because I'm hungry but when mommy speaks I won't continue to get a food.

"Jasmine this is your soon-to-be husband." Mommy said while pointing at my adjacent.

And after mommy spoke, we both looked each other.

"You" we both said at once. And my eyes popping out.

And the two of us even got up from our seats.

And they all looked at us.
