Chapter 4 Episode 4

May couldn't tear her eyes off the eerie phenomenon occurring to her very face. Afraid to touch it with her hands she reached out and touched it with the hammer and it faded into thin air luckily, she dropped it before it reached her hand.

She sat down on a chair hanging her legs too afraid to touch the floor

*Does this mean the black sand is travelling round the school? But why ? It must be part of demons possessing everybody here and no one will ever believe me again even if I try to show them. I gotta save myself and Mike, MIKE !!* She thought to herself believing that they especially Mike are in grave danger

*of all people on earth u chose Mike* she remembered

*if he is so unhappy that I'm dating Mike then... *she gasped *Oh no I hope he won't* she thought using her shaking hands to pulled out her phone from her pocket quivering she dailed Mike's number but the network was terrible there in the woods but she kept on trying hoping she is not too late.

"Hey May !!" Stacey called knocking on the door "Night story is starting don't be late" she said running outside before May could open the door

Jason sat on the ground in deep thought though he didn't feel anything for the man he just killed but he never wanted to be a murderer and now he was

alarmed of how dangerous Dark Matter can become.

"Two of your Acquaintances now know about me" Dark Matter said " i would have to destroy the..."

"NO !!" Jason interrupted "you are not harming May,Mike will be going to the hospital and I'll be in trouble if he mentions me"

"So... where is the closest hospital" Dark Matter replied

"On the west side of the camp"

"He hasn't approached the camp yet"

*how does he know* Jason thought to himself also wondering if Dark Matter could hear him. Dust collected again as Dark Matter took control of his body racing towards poor Mike. Jumping from tree to tree with dusks catching and braking his fall before and after each tree fades away Jason enjoyed every moment of it because it was as if he was spider man with no webs and with dusks fading every tree it touches . Now approaching Mike Dark Matter jumped down from a tree and caused a huge dusk to hold Mike's body.

Dust collects and Mike was shaking in fear for his dear life his wounds were already fading before and now the dusk made it worse

"Jason pls am sorry for all__the trouble _i_ caused you"Mike said with all the strength he could muster". Dark Matter made the dusk to turn him around to see his skin peeling and fading from his face along with his neck region where the dusk has previously held him

"how so weak you humans are"

"Wha...what are you saying ? Please _I promise _I __wo..n't tell pl_ease" Jason was trying his best to control Dark Matter but he was determined in finishing him off in a slow painful death to examine just how weak the human body was. Mike's phone started ringing so Mike forced his hand into his pockets to answer it for it was May that was calling

"He_he...llo" he stammered barely feeling his heartbeat

"Mike ! Mike ! Baby am so glad your okay. Listen Jason he has changed and he's changed and he's coming after you his..." annoyed Dark Matter caused another dusk to squeeze the phone to ashes and then raised Mike up to finish him off, no matter the amount of resistance from Jason but something like a flash made Mike to disappear from the dusk's grip, which in turn simultaneously faded away along with dark matter spilling out of Jason.

Crawling Jason could almost feel his heart beat as he was groaned on the floor in great agony.

"MIKE ! " she called but his phone was switched off or so she thought . Panicking she dashed to the management office again

"May ! for Christ sake What is wrong with you ? " The Principal asked annoyed

"Its Jason, Mike is in danger " she cried

"we've already gone over this, haven't u seen the school's nurse yet ?" The Vice muttered

"but..."

"May ! I'm sure your not ok" the director said taking off her glasses

"just check my room please it's urgent " May pleaded falling to her knees and crying profusely .

"I don't want him to die, I can't, I won't, I JUST WON'T " she kept screaming on top of her voice showing the urgency of her situation

"alright ! I'll go, but this will be the last time you will bang into this office again " the principal concluded

"not just you , we need the police"

"don't worry we'll call them if need be" he said raising her off the floor

By dusk Jason opened his eyes as the dark matter formed hands which entered his body as it did before bringing him back to consciousness .

Trying to stand up Jason wondered what just struck them.

*Was it lightening * he thought *lightning comes from the sky it must be something else... that...that came eastwards and where's Mike" Jason asked looking dazed and confused

"he doesn't seem to be close" Dark Matter responded.

"what should we do now?"

"your brain needs rest, we will deal with them tomorrow. You humans don't see well at dark"

"alright but ""WE"" are not harming May"

Dusts collects as Jason jumps back to his room through the window.

The principal and May enters into her room

"see ! I told you there was something wrong and you didn't believe me now there..." May was blurting out

"there's nothing to see here May " the principal said very annoyed.

"the wall..." May's eyes suddenly grew wide "there was black dust i_i_in the wall and...and Mike's phone ".

The Principal burst out of her room in annoyance while she raises her bed up and found the crack but there was no sand

May was shocked to the bones and would've set out to look for Mike but couldn't because it was night so she set up a hammock since she was too scared to sleep on her bed she set up a hammock and dragged her worried self to sleep...

"Is everyone here !?" Miss Claire, the class' form mistress asked

"Yes ma !" The class answered being too expectant of the story to risk delay from absent students . Liam wondered why nighter May nor Jason nor Mike was here, but he decided to enjoy the story first for they might have fell asleep.

"I'm here, sorry for being late Miss Cliare" Mr Matt apologised

"Alright, pay attention to what I'm about to tell you " she said with a very serious dram rich voice that instantly silenced the class

Deep into the night May woke up by a sudden noise so, she took her touch light and pointed it in the direction of the crack but didn't see any thing so she got up and put her torch light inside the crack to see if it's an animal but the flashlight faded instantly she gasped realising that the moving sand is back and somehow knew that she was alone in the room. Forgetting that her bed was still raised she stepped back twice and stumbled falling to the ground...
