Chapter 5 5

❤️❤️ Suspects ❤️❤️

The portal opens at the middle of the Witch Palace compound and Queen Latifah steps out of it and it closes behind her.

She was greeted by her servants and she answered every greeting with either a smile or a nod.

She entered her throne room and ordered her guards to get out that she wanted some privacy. The guards did as told and Queen Latifah used her magic to block the entrance to ensure no one disturb her. She used a stronger magic to cast around the throne room so no witches can hear whatever she was going to do or say.

Removing her crown from her hair, she sat down and crossed her legs in India style, closing her eyes, she began making incantations and a blue smoke was seen coming out of the crown on the floor and formed into a young man, full of flesh and clothed. He has blue eyes and hair as he stepped out of the crown. A golden chain in the form of a necklace was seen around his neck. Queen Latifah had captured and chained him into making him obeying whatever she said.

He knelt down before Queen Latifah, bowing his head.

"You did a wonderful job last time luke." Queen Latifah begins as she opens her eyes.

"Thank you mistress." Luke said, still bowing his head.

"Now I need you to do another job for me." Queen Latifah said, her eyes growing cold.

King Lucas entered his throne room to think about the meeting they just had when he saw his only son and child, Tyler, who held a worried look on his face.

"Father, why the urgent meeting?" Tyler asked once he saw his father. He was 6'1 feet and his crop short black hair gave his oval face an alluring look. He has the body build of a warrior and on his right arm was a tattoo given to him as the best wolf warrior.

"Two things happened, one, we are not allowed to speak about it to anybody." King Lucas replied and continued. "And the second, Isaac is back."

"King Reid brother is back?" Tyler asked, his eyes widened.

"Yes son."

"Why is the first one a secret father?"

"It is only met for the ears of the king's and Queen's alone."

"Okay." Tyler said and did not question further. He left afterwards.

King Lucas went into deep thinking. Who could be stronger between King Leon and King Darken? He heard the threat Leon had given to Isaac.

"Leon seem to be the stronger one instead of Draken." King Lucas said aloud to himself. "I think I will go for Leon."

Isaac was angry but he managed to control his anger. He hates when someone insults him, most especially using his one eye. He came here for a purpose and shouldn't allow his anger to get the best of him.

"Like I said before, you still have that old bitterness in you." Isaac said, forcing himself to smile. "But I know you have no relatives."

"Don't be so cocky Issac, my life is private."

"Anyways, let me go straight to the reason why I had come here in the first place since you don't want to invite your guest in."

"Absolutely right." Mari interjected immediately.

Isaac carried on as if she didn't say a word. "Do you have any idea of where River could be?" He asked his question.

"Are you looking for your missing child?" Mari asked scornfully. "Oh, I just remembered you are barren."

"You are messing up my question Mari and you know it." Isaac said ignoring Mari taunting. "Do you know where River is? It's very important I see him."

"I have something I was working on before you rudely interrupted and as for your question, when you see River, help me and ask him where he has been." With that Mari slammed the door against Isaac face.

Isaac stood there for a full minute very shocked that Mari would have the guts to shut her door at his face. And to worsen it, he hasn't gotten his answers yet.

'This isn't the end Mari, I will be back.' He said in his thoughts and was gone.

"Who was that aunty?" Ariel's voice sounded at the right ear of the Witch almost scaring the witch half to death.

"When did you get here?" Mari asked as she used her magic to control her racing heart. "I thought you said you were going to the room?"

"Yes aunty but your abusive words made me have a change of heart. So who was the unfortunate fellow?" Ariel said with a charming smile.

"Isaac." Mari responded.

Ariel smiled faded quickly. "What did he want?"

"Asking the whereabouts of River." Mari answered, walking to her study table.

"The whereabouts of River? What for?" Ariel demanded.

"I didn't give him a chance to say but he won't tell. I know Isaac more than anyone else in this supernatural." Mari replied and made the magic book which was still floating in the air to land on her study table. "Even if I know the whereabouts of River, I won't tell him."

"Why is he back? Something is amiss somewhere." Ariel voiced out her thought.

"Right, I am going to find out what is going on and why he is back. Isaac was so embittered when his younger brother defeated him, he left and no one knows his whereabouts until now. There has to be a reason why he is back." Mari told Ariel, opening the pages of the Magic book one after the other. She smiled once she saw what she was looking for, "I have finally found what I was looking for." She said in a triumphant smile.

"What did you find aunty?"

"A disguise spell." Mari answered and that made Ariel smile widely.
