Chapter 5 Episode 5

Having driven about 40 minutes outside of the city, Hades felt they'd gone far enough. He had watched for anyone tailing him but he was fairly certain Gran was more concerned about the no-fur disappearing than if Hades was driving away from his agreed destination.

Not that he expected the no-fur could hear him but he spoke his plan out loud. "Going to pull off at this next rest stop. Says it's closed but I have a professional investigator's badge on my car, so no one will care if we park for a bit."

It was just a few miles up. Hades jumped as his cell phone went off. He tapped it and looked quickly at the screen just to see who it was. When it blinked unknown he didn't give it a second thought. Wrong number or someone wanting money. Either way, not important.

Putting his blinker on, he barely missed being clipped by an asshole who sped up as soon as he changed lanes. Thank the gods he was able to slide into the exit lane without getting hit. It would have slammed straight into the trunk and the no-fur. That settled it. He wasn't leaving him in there another minute.

As expected, the rest stop was deserted but functional for what Hades wanted - a few minutes break from having to focus so he could determine what to do about the no-fur. The driveway into the shady parking lot brought the car down into a valley where they couldn't be seen from the highway. Odds were good the door to the tiny shed of a building could be jimmied and the vending machines were stocked for the construction crew that didn't seem to be here today.

Hades got out and knocked on the trunk. "I'm opening the trunk. You want to get out of that cage?" That was a stupid question, not just because of course the no-fur would appreciate any kind of limited freedom but because he'd been gagged since they left Gran's estate.

Hades shook off the awkward opening. He started the complicated undoing of the omega cage. He was never going to put another being inside one of those and certainly not this poor, shivering no-fur. As he undid the restraints he noticed how exact the bonds were made to not only hold the poor thing still but stretch his limbs to cause unnecessary pain. As he unhooked the leather bit from the no-fur's head, Hades didn't know what to expect.

"You're shivering." Hades said when the no-fur tried and failed to get up from the cage. "It is that cold in here? I would have given you a blanket. That gods-awful thing you're wearing can't be keeping you warm. I'm going to help you out. Don't do anything stupid."

The no-fur sighed and shook his head. His curly mop of aqua-toned hair hid most of his face and he didn't seem to want to push it away.

Hades slowly helped him extricate himself from the cage. When he was sure the thin no-fur wouldn't just fall over he told him to go sit on the bench and wait. With a grunt Hades jostled the damn cage out of the trunk and angrily dumped it in one of the containers where the construction crew discarded trash.

He walked down the path to where the no-fur had knelt in front of the bench, assuming his subservient pose. Hades grabbed his arm much more gently than when he was putting on the show for Gran. "None of that. Sit on the bench."

"If I can sit, sir, can I sit over there?" The no-fur pointed to a field of violets overseen by a bunch of lilac bushes.

Hades shrugged. "Sure, we can go sit in the grass."

He followed behind the no-fur, who seemed to be coming back to life from being outside.

Sitting down next to the no-fur, Hades looked up at the clouds coming in. It was lovely now but he could smell the rain. This wouldn't be able to be a very long pause. "Can't stay long." He warned as the no-fur turned to face him from where he was gently running just the tips of his fingers along the violets.

"I didn't think so." The no-fur was trying to hide his disappointment. He looked at Hades as he set a hand on his leg. "You seem unhappy. Do you not like your job?"

Hades felt a pulse of energy the moment the no-fur touched him. The creature's eyes were tinted with a purple color they didn't have before. "What are you up to?" The Black-fur investigator didn't get a chance to push the no-fur's hand away before the other hand was on his other leg and he was being straddled.

"You are the first feline in many moons I've wanted to touch." The color in the no-fur's eyes was echoed in the energy Hades could see pulsing from most of his body.

Hades grabbed the no-fur's wrists and held him off as best he could. Not easy when everything he wanted to do to and with the no-fur was filling his mind and raising his cock. "I can see auras, you little troublemaker. You are stealing the power from the violets and trying to seduce me."

"Shows what you know, Soot-walker."

The no-fur called Hades a term he hadn't heard since his childhood history lessons. At one point, black-furs were known as Soot-walkers and among the greatest of all the Elementalists. But that was so long ago. Ancient history, really. The word had become an insult, though not one that was used much these days.

"Violets simply cause one to surrender lies."

"Sneaky little thing. Don't you know toms in my business deal in lies?"

Hades pulled the no-fur closer without relinquishing his wrists. Sticking out his rough tongue, he let it taste the soft skin along the no-fur's jawbone. It was a strange sensation, the lack of fur and the somewhat sweet-salty flavor that signaled the no-fur was an omega ready to seed. Not that Hades had any interest in that, thank you.

"I can suppress it, did you know?"

Had the no-fur read his mind?

"I know you want more than just my mouth. And no one would have to command me to surrender to you."

The no-fur brushed his lips against Hades's mouth and coaxed it open. Hades was kissing him before he could think about it, enjoying the wet soft tongue that moved against his. He felt the no-fur open his hands in surrender and as Hades let his wrists go, the alluring creature let his hands fall to his side, completing the signal of complete submission.

When the kiss ended, the no-fur enticed him with the truth. "So, if there is no seduction spell in play, Soot-walker, then take what you want. We can stop pretending."

Hades bit down on the no-fur's bared shoulder, imagining the mark that would appear on unfurred skin. His cock swelled at the thought.

The no-fur let out a sigh that was nothing like a feline hiss. "The lilacs. They are used to suppress the ability to seed. If you can connect with me, Elementalist, you can take on the aura and use me like the skin-sheath I am."

Hades pulled back and met the no-fur's eyes. He was about to say something about what the no-fur had called himself. But all he could do was growl low in his throat. The power and defiance in his gaze, and the lust. Here was a no-fur that had never been owned for a moment in his life. Not when he'd been tortured or beaten. Not when they had thought they'd broken him. Here was an otherworldly creature and Hades had to have him.

Hades spoke the ancient words of power that would connect his aura to the no-furs. There was no harm in it. It took more than one Elemental joining to make a bond, to complete the collaring. The power that flared around them made Hades's heart skip a beat. Later, he'd remember the no-fur used flower auras and Hades was born to feel auras, so their compatibility was off the charts.

However, right now, neither one had enough control to stop the lilacs' suppression aura from mixing with the violets truth-telling aura.

Hades wrestled the no-fur to the ground and pulled the zipper down slowly on his coarse gray onesie. He dragged a hungry claw down the no-fur's back, leaving a scratch that disappeared before his eyes.

"That's amazing. I can feel it. Nothing I do to you will leave a mark."

"Imagine what you can do then, Soot-walker." The no-fur teased.

Hades grabbed a handful the no-fur's aqua curls and pushed his head down into the grass. He leaned down as he took the zipper past the small of the no-fur's back and further down to expose everything. "You mean the things you've made me think about since last night, skin-sheath?"

How could such a horrible word slip so easily off his tongue? Probably because the no-fur's shiver had nothing to do with fear and everything to do with willing submission.
