Chapter 3 A roommate

After few hours of drive they arrived in his huge mansion, there was a waterfall in front of it and flowers of different kind and colour was planted

A wow left Yelena's mouth as she stared at the paradise in front of her, it's a paradise because she has never seen anything like it

She wondered how it would look inside if the outside is breath taking.

Get down. The guard voice snap her to conciousness

She got down of the car and a guard walk towards her, he untied her hand.

There were red spot on her wrist only God knows how long her hand has been tied.

Have you got a replacement for that guy? Luciano ask Adrian referring to the chef

Yes master. Adrian answered

He moved his gaze to Yelena who was still admiring the house

Take her inside her works begin tomorrow morning. Yelena heard Luciano said to the guard

He nodded and literally drag Yelena inside the mansion

She opened her mouth in awe as she stared at the beautiful house, the chandelier, sofa, TV, the table,the marble floor.. wow everything here must worth millions or more.

Hey she's new. The guard said to a girl around Yelena age or a year older

She nodded and held her wrist but Yelena groaned,the girl took a quick glance at her wrist before letting go

Follow me. She said and Yelena followed her quietly they went through a door to another house the house was beautiful too but not that much.

Miss Ivy. The girl called a lady around twenty five or something

She turned around with a smirk on her face.. what?

She's New. She said stepping aside for the lady called Ivy to see Yelena properly

What's your name? Ivy asked after staring at her from head to toe

Yelena.. Yelena Montello. She answered

I'm miss Ivy head of the maids every maid here report to me and no one dares disobey my order or else they will feel my wrath. She said calmly but with fire in her eyes

Yelena nodded as soon as she stopped talking

Give her some clean clothes and food she'll be staying with you. Ivy said to the girl that brought her

Thank you Miss ivy. Yelena bowed respectfully

Ivy smile at her before walking away.

What's your name? Yelena asked the girl that kept a straight face as she dropped a maid uniform on the small bed

Vida. She answered

I'm Yelena. She smiled

Why do you look sad? Yelena ask staring at her face

None of your business. She said rudely

That's the bathroom. She pointed at a door before leaving

Yelena stared at the room before heading to the bathroom,she met two towel one was neatly placed while the other looks a bit old.

She stood under the shower and let the cold water touch her body she felt a sharp pain all over her body but a more fierce pain on her arm

She stared at the wound then back at her wrist. I will survive all this. She thought to her self

Vida was placing a tray that contains food on the bed when Yelena walked out of the bathroom with a towel wrap around her chest.

Thanks. She utter making vida notice her presence

Vida stared at her as tears circulated in her eyes.

Is something wrong? Yelena asked

Vida stared away, Yelena gulp down as she walked towards her

Nothing eat your food it almost time to sleep. Vida said

Yelena nodded and went ahead to get dressed, she sat down and began to eat while vida stared at her

What wrong? Yelena ask feeling uncomfortable at how vida stared at her

Nothing. Vida shrugged

Don't you want me here? She ask but got no response

It's fine I'll tell Miss Ivy. She said

No that's not it... She trialed off for a bit

My roommate was killed this morning. She said making Yelena gasp

By who? Yelena managed to ask

I can't tell you. Vida said as tears stream down her cheek

It's fine. Yelena went ahead to hug her

No it's not that.. that was the third roommate I'll be having and they are either shot dead or rape to death. She explained

Yelena was scared but decided to hide it since she wants her to tell her everything

She was raped to death and staring at you I don't want to get attached because I'll be left alone. She sob

Don't talk like that I won't die. Yelena said patting her back

Can you tell me about this place? How did you end up here? Yelena ask

This mansion is owned by a drug syndicate the man who brought you.. master Luciano Adiente,he is ruthless and evil he doesn't have a heart.

My sister and I were kidnapped and the next thing we know is we found ourselves here.

My sister was killed trying to escape no one escape this place is either you grow old here or you die. She said that last part in a whisper

I can't die not here. Yelena thought staring at crying vida

The next morning

The maids were doing their various chores when Luciano walked downstairs.

He took a seat at the dinning table while a maid dish out his food with a trembling hand

Get a grip of yourself. He warned

Y...yes master. She sturter

Water. He said and the maid quickly took a glass cup she was about to pour water in it when it slipped from her hand and fell on the floor

Oh mine. She mutter as she fell on the floor

Luciano reached for his gun and shot her immediately,she was lucky the bullet only hit her shoulders and not a serious spot

Ahhh! Yelena scream in fright as the gun was shot

Luciano gaze went to her immediately,his eyes burning in anger as he walked towards her

Their gaze on each other as he walked closer to her,she couldn't move not because anyone was holding her but because she was in shock

Vida was muttering a silent prayer as everyone watched them

Why did you shout? Do you want to be next? Luciano yell at her

She moved her gaze to the girl groaning in pain in her own pool of blood then back at Luciano.
